Достаточно правильно сформулировать то, чем занимаешься, и получается профессия. Wink

But wait, Fury is famous for having meltdowns.
I never saw Fury have a meltdown before, I have seen him come out with a whole lot of funny rants during interviews and crazy behaviour to grab the attention and headlines. Personally, I think most of what he does is for the cameras and is very well choreographed therefore not spontaneous but I could be wrong maybe they were meltdowns  Grin

Either I incorrectly translate or understand word meltdown, but isnt it when person goes crazy? The moment when he got bipolar disorder? The moment when he had alcohol addiction. The moment when he was so depressed, that he wanted to crash his car and commit a suicide? Last two fights shows that Fury isnt Fury used to be. There is something with his head definitely. Knockdown from Ngannou, knockdown and save by ref in fight against Usyk. What would we get from third fight? A knockout?
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double your money and quite on: Today at 08:05:41 AM
Every time I see this topic name a question appears in my head, who and why a gambler must set a x2 as a standard and a line when it is time to leave? There are several moments I dont like about it.

1. On one hand it is ok to have such a game plan, but it also means chasing a specific amount. That example from first post from 100 to 200. I think it is silly to continue gambling when your balance is 195.
2. Why not just have fun instead of programming our self on gambling until doubling deposit?
3. It isnt easy actually to double money in casino. If gambler is so lucky that he has achieved that, why stopping? What if this is your lucky day?
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: Today at 07:58:06 AM
Worse loss of Haney, he couldn't get over that he has to make sure Ryan gets punished for defeating him fairly.

How can it be worse, if this is the first Haney loss ? Cheesy Like you saw other losses to claim that this is the worse one ? Cheesy I would laugh if NY Athletic Commission would turn this fight as "Haney win by disqualification" in the end. A guy drop you on the butt three times, but you still win. If Haney would really get a clear record after that, I hope he wont be proud of that and never claim that he is undefeated. To make thing fair, this time Haney should have (or have not) taken something and Ryan to be as clean as possible Cheesy
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: Today at 07:46:24 AM
Anyone wants here wants to discuss Poirier vs Makhachev fight? I've seen some stats: Makhachev tried 16 takedowns and only 5 of them were successful. That is around 30% of success. People say that this is the worst result in Makhachevs career. Does it means that Poirier TD defence has improved, or he was focused on them to much (as he has landed quite a few strikes in this fight imho). Anyway, people compare Islam and Khabib, and say that Islam is a copy or follower of Khabib. But Khabib was better. I never saw any damage on Khabibs face.
Wants to discuss? I flew from EU to the USA just to see this fight, alone and yes, I almost cried that Poirier lost against him Cheesy Dustin had to fight against two opponent, Islam and his shorts Cheesy All the money that I paid to watch this fight, was really worthy. Money isn't a big issue but flight takes lots of time. It was definitely amazing fight! Dustin Poirier is my favorite fighter, I wanted him to beat Islam and retire, that would be mine and probably his dream too but still, outcome doesn't matter, it was amazing!

Poirier's TD defense has definitely improved a lot, his defense in the first 3 rounds really shocked me. By the way, I personally prefer Islam over Khabib because Islam sometimes strikes and isn't only focused on wrestling. Otherwise, Khabib is really the goat if we talk about results and not about fight style.

God how I love such stories. A true fan. That journey must have cost you a lot of money, from tickets (as you havent bought them in advance probably), UFC even ticket, hotel. I have never been on UFC even life. Tell us your experience. How long does the whole event last? With all that announcements, entrances, interviews. Is there a pause between prelims and main card. In local events we have huge pauses some times. As main fights are aired on TV at exact time, and if the fights before ends early, spectators might get 30-60min pause before main card starts. And that is awful. Sometimes we dont know what to do for those 30-60min. Sitting in half filled or empty venue is stupid. Drinking in bars, there are always queues. Local event organization is on low level.

Brunno Ferreira def Dustin Stoltzfus  KO R1

Nice fight actually. Glad that you have pointed on those two, as on weekend, on purpose I have saved my beer and snacks until that fight Cheesy First I though that Stoltzfus lack experience. The moment when he jumped and pushed on Ferreira, thinking he is winning and Ferreira is dazed. Than boom a spinning elbow, and Stoltzfus havent learned nothing from it, boom second spinning elbow Cheesy
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny - Pacquiao VS Chihiro Suzuki Exhibition Match on: June 09, 2024, 07:15:29 PM
Why this young kid Suzuki looks like a teenager from boys band on this poster? When Pacman is a true killer Cheesy Just look in their eyes. Nevertheless, that article about the fight made me laugh. So we have Pacman fighting against a good MMA fighter, undefeated in last 9 fights, a champion, bla-bla-bla, in an exhibition fight under boxing rules.

So we have one of the greatest boxers against a guy who only trains boxing. I would not bet my money on Suzuki Cheesy
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling increases computer education. on: June 09, 2024, 07:10:07 PM
Dont get me wrong, but I know lots of elder people Cheesy (nope, I am not old, I am just friendly and communicative) I think that among them, nobody gamble online, nor offline. Maybe they gamble for fun with grandchildren, but I doubt that they gamble. We are in time, when a person, who is considered as old, is already able to use PC on higher than beginner level. When PC became available for many? 30 years ago? They are not miracle that require education. Anyway, those elder people who use PC, use them for social media, and for planning their vacation mostly.

I know cos from the quality of convos itt I feel like most of the guys in here have surface level knowledge and are prolly just here for their sig campaigns.

Nope, we are just here to discuss McGregor story of success Cheesy

Just curious why did you even pay attention to Brunno Ferreira vs. Dustin Stoltzfus fight. I am not familiar with both. I usually pay attention to familiar face or name. I barely see such in fight night events. I barely bet on none main or co-main events. If you havent named them, I would most likely watch their fight in after event review, and if there was an early finisher, then probably watch a full fight. From the whole card, I would pay attention to Raul Rosas Jr. (not because it is hard not to notice or look on his chin) because he seems to be on the list of UFC hype machine. 3 fights, 2 wins and performance bonuses in all of them. One loss, but Raul got a 20% money bonus because opponent missed weight. He is building (or UFC is building) him a staircase from poverty to wealthy life.

Btw, have you tried UFC Jackpot freebet on Duelbits? If not, you still have enough time to make your selection https://duelbits.com/sportsbook/mma/ufc-jackpot/68651028-9f7c-41f2-b15a-0cc87fb6bf71
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you really want from gambling? on: June 07, 2024, 09:45:52 AM
I gamble not to become an addict, I do it just for fun for no other reason. If there's a chance that I win, I'm always happy, but that doesn't drive me to get addicted to gambling like
other casino players do.

Yes, sometimes, I wish I could experience a big win in gambling, but I never play gambling even if I know that I have lost a lot in gambling, because when my gambling money is used up,
I really stop. Because I know the effect when I chase after my loss in gambling.
In general, everyone who gambles is to make money, even if you do it for fun, I'm sure that doesn't mean you don't want to win, but of course you yourself definitely want to win. The winnings you get are the pleasure point of gambling. I don't think about where the fun of gambling is if it ends in defeat, or if the gambling is done by getting a sensation, maybe that sensation is the point of pleasure. If you can control yourself by not getting addicted, that's good, because when someone is addicted to gambling, they will continue to play and that means they will lose more money.
But I'm not sure you always win every time you gamble. If it's true that you always win, of course there's nothing wrong with making gambling your main job, but it's impossible. Maintain your self-control, by being able to stop gambling because you know what the bad effects of gambling are, if you lose when gambling, of course it won't be a good effect.

Dunno man, sometimes when I place a bet, I dont even expect to win, but do it do support happy mood and company. For instance, when the last time we watched ice hockey game with friends, one of them placed a bet on a team to win, and I instantly placed a bet on opposite team just for a laugh. The team I placed a bet was much weaker, but it would be a laughable hysteria if they win. I think odds were like 6 or more. And if my bet would have won, I would have bought everyone a drink. You see, my plan was not to make a risky bet and make money to share drinks with friends.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 07, 2024, 09:36:42 AM
Here's one of the fight vids of a prospect who's fighting this weekend.  This guy could either finish the match within 1.5 rounds or get finished in the third round or lose via decision.  Some guys think his opponent Stoltzfus could eek out a win but dunno...

UFC Free Fight:  Ferreira vs Hawes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6HOU1b3huI

But yeah, you guys prolly don't have an idea what I'm talking about or don't care.  Lolol.

We actually never click on your links lol Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy I have googled that Stoltzfus guy, and he has a red belt in Tang Soo Do. Wtf is that? Cheesy Is a red belt in that Scooby Doo even valued ? Btw how come you even find and focus on that Ferreira guy? Because he is 11-1 ? I would have never even googled him, because he has no page in Wiki and for me this is an indicator of an average meat Cheesy

And it looks like there isn't gonna be a Multi Master for the event but here are my leans at first glance.

Raul Rosas Jr

I expect new memes to appear after this fight.

I know I am gonna burn in hell for that, but every time he fight, his opponent gets an instant +2cm reach advantage Cheesy
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Rematch: FURY vs USYK 21st December 2024 on: June 07, 2024, 09:23:25 AM
After fight against Usyk, AJ also told that he would be ready for a rematch. But it all ended with split and "how did you beat me?".
After he was beaten for the second time (in the rematch), Joshua seemed to have suffered some sort of mental meltdown. When he took the microphone in the ring and asked Usyk how he managed to beat him, it was a sad sight. Joshua stated something he was the one that was bigger and stronger yet he lost.

If the rematch between Fury and Usyk goes ahead we will not see Fury or Usyk having a meltdown in defeat.

But wait, Fury is famous for having meltdowns. However, I am more curious if we would get anything new in a rematch. Btw, Usyk never has never lost in rematches. Joshua, amateur career, won twice Beterbiev. Each time he was better in a rematch. Lets look on this from Fury point of view. He think he would because he won some rounds in their first fight? So far not a single heavyweight showed a real challenge for Usyk. Only in cruiserweights, a fight against Mairis Briedis was the most difficult for Usyk during professional career.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling increases computer education. on: June 07, 2024, 09:13:25 AM
Each time I visit some physical betting shop in my country, I usually observe how some elderly people make use of computers. I live in a country where most people 55 years and above don't have basic computer education. Many of them cannot use the mouse, keyboard, or other parts of the computer. This might be because most of them have not been exposed to computer education.

However, the introduction of online betting has forced most gamblers in my country to learn how to use the computer. It is now common to see some elderly people using the mouse and keyboard effectively. Most of them have never attended any computer education class but learned through observation. Others might have gone through some level of training from family or friends. I am sure many of them wouldn't have learned anything about the computer if not for online gambling. What are your thoughts?

I believe that there are other incentives that are much less "harmful" to the health of an elderly person to encourage them to use a computer.

It's the same as saying: "My grandfather started going out more after a bar opened right across the street... if it weren't for the cold beer they sell there, maybe my grandfather would still be sitting in front of the television every day. At least now he can have some fun with real friends."

I admit that gambling has brought some good things, but just as it can be extremely harmful to people who don't know how to control their impulses, I also believe that older people are also more likely to spend more than they should.

In short, if these people can make rational use of gambling, then I don't see any problem. But in my opinion, this is something that should be closely monitored.

That is actually a good idea. If we develop the idea of elderly and computer, then I think gambling wont be among popular activities to do. Why do modern generation spend so much time in devices - because of unlimited content. Imho elderly would use computers for watching tv series that they have missed, socializing (it would be honest to say, that a lot of elderly people are lonely), or surfing the internet. Remember when we first get access to pc and the internet. We did not focus on something one, but instead searches and examined different content. Now elderly are like us 20-30 years ago. They get access to huge database, and gambling will something least popular among them.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fatal mistake on: June 06, 2024, 01:26:22 PM
That's the power of greediness in gamble. After losing upto half of his salary there was still an option to walk out of there quietly but he chose to stay back to win all that has been lost, what's the essence of visiting the gambling hall in the first place after receiving his salary, that explains how addicted he is. I don't blame gamble for anything, I only blame the gamblers who have given themselves up to addiction and irresponsible gambling. If only they could think critically before making some important decision, I don't think anyone would be addicted. Depression from losing all your money to gamble has made lots of persons do things they ought not to do, like committing suicide and even involve themselves into some criminal activities in other to regain back what has been lost.

I would call it not the power of greediness, but wrong priorities in life. The guy has 4 kids to feed, educate, dress. What would they learn from their father? If there is a problem - run from it. If fathers intention was to use gambling to get more money, then he has chosen a wrong method. What makes this situation worse - the guy left his family and left many people worried. Totally irresponsible. That is what not an adult should do.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling increases computer education. on: June 06, 2024, 11:10:54 AM
It would sound more real that online gambling increases mobile sales, than computer education. Who would sign for computer education if he wants to gamble? Gadgets are so user friendly today, that anyone from 5 to 60 is able to operate it like fish being in the water. Even if elderly shows an interest to gambling, they would gamble offline. Moreover, I barely see elderly behind computers, and even if there are some who gamble, the amount of them would be so little, that it would not even be noticeable.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Rematch: FURY vs USYK 21st December 2024 on: June 06, 2024, 11:04:34 AM
Just five votes have been cast in the rematch poll and we are on 4 for Fury and 1 for Usyk.

There is something in the air about Fury possibly getting a stunning victory to exact revenge for the loss he suffered last month. Put it this way, if Usyk wins that would be the end of the matter but if Fury wins, both boxers and their teams will have to go where the money goes and will lead to a blockbuster trilogy.

We need more votes in the poll  Grin

Made some correction in poll Cheesy

Who are those 4 that expect Fury to win? From the fight I saw, it did not look that Fury got something special, ace in the hole or Usyk won unfair. I just dont get what are in peoples mind. They think that Fury will not train twice as hard, but Usyk would chill till December and would not make any correction in tactics. People probably think that "yeah, now Fury has learned Usyk and know what to expect". Usyk now knows Fury also and I suspect, that this time he wont let him go in the ropes and no judge would help him.

After fight against Usyk, AJ also told that he would be ready for a rematch. But it all ended with split and "how did you beat me?".
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: June 06, 2024, 10:57:52 AM
With regards to Garcia-Haney. Is it true that Haney sh*t on his pants during the fight?

We can say that Cheesy With all respect to Haney, if he really thinks he is so greatest, he needs to prove that in the ring, not outside of it and after the fight. If he really thinks he is the best and he was cheated or robbed, achieve a rematch, beat Garcia. And there would no more question about weight, prohibited substances, bad judging and etc. Knock out your opponent and put an end in that competition. But what Haney is doing right now - trying to get rid from that 1 in his loss record and replace it with no-contest.

Lol, I haven't heard of that story, but if it is true then we really don't know. I do agree, after everything is said and done, he should rematch Ryan Garcia for a bigger money and then have the doping commission on top of it before and after the fight and see if Ryan did take performance enhancing drug.

But now it seems that Devin is quiet and only his father is facing and posting in the social media.

Let's wait for the word from WBC, it will be suspension only if they see that Ryan is guilty.

Imho the best what Haney could do is to organize a rematch on any conditions. Not asking for more money, double-triple doping check, not crying that he Garcia won unfair and etc. But stay silent, focused and beat crap from Garcia via KO. It was Haney who has landed on the butt in the fight, not Garcia. So it is 1:0 in Garcia favour in any case.

We have such a popular quotation - "dont swing fists after the fight". What is done is done. Now turn the page and prove that everyone were wrong.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fatal mistake on: June 06, 2024, 10:53:15 AM
Actually I have an elder brother in gambling, he basically works in a private company. Received May salary on June 04/06/2024, he did not come home after receiving salary. Three sons one daughter and his wife live in his house, and he gambled all night and entered the house on the next day 05/06/2024 today morning after losing all the salary money. After entering the house, his wife asked him to go to market, he replied, I don't have money, wife said, you got salary, what did you do with the salary money?
In this way, quarrels between the two gradually arise and when it becomes known in the society, it is gradually known that he has played gambling. And he went somewhere far away from home after the fight till now there is no trace of him and he didn't try to contact him till now. So I shared this with you because of how dangerous gambling is in the eyes of families and society. What could be the biggest reason behind this person giving complete money loss?

It's a bit of a sad story that you mentioned, OP. That's why it's always said that you should only gamble moderately. Let's not let addiction form in our person as gamblers. It should just be a game for fun or limit the amount of money we gamble.

Because without this method, for sure, the gambler will end up having an addiction. And we also know that addiction does nothing good but destroy the family or one's own family. Now in the story that Op told, we just don't know if the man left due to stress or depression, and no one knows where he was. I just hope it doesn't lead to suicide after what happened to the man.

You should not be sad. That guys wife and kids must be sad right now. But we got another reminder, another free experience how serious we should be with gambling and money. The "fatal mistake" of this story is not addiction and money issues (nothing new), but the way that guy acted - running from problem. Probably now sitting somewhere and waiting for someone to feel sorry for him and swearing on casino and cruel world. While he is trouble maker on first place.

Some news: Conor has cancelled UFC 303 press conference. (https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2024/06/ufc-303-daniel-cormier-conor-mcgregor-canceled-press-conference-worrisome) Should we worry about fight cancelation as well?

Dana White has said that Conor is dropping out of UFC 303 with an injury to his leg that was suffered during sparring. No word of it’s the same shin he broke last time, but it sounds like it. I don’t see how Conor comes back from this. In another couple years when he would be ready to fight again he’ll just be too far removed from the fight game and too old.

Lets wait for official announcement. So far we got only this from his Instagram:

This could mean anything, from a minor injury to a regular check-up. If there is a real injury, he would not be so smiling on the picture. And it would be useless for him to return to MMA. 3 years on a pause already, one or two years of inactivity and he could forget about serious competition. He is not Bones who comes from 2 years pause and finish top opponent in two minutes. It the fight will be truly cancelled, then I feel sorry for those who have bought tickets.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 05, 2024, 01:31:20 PM
So their weight difference is officially 7kg only, when on a fight day it will be less. Regards their possible fight, there is a nice article https://bloodyelbow.com/2024/05/20/islam-makhachev-opens-up-about-secret-sparring-session-with-leon-edwards-as-he-eyes-ufc-double-champion-status/. These two actually have met in gym, when Islam was quite new in UFC and not familiar with Edwards. It has mentioned that Edwards told that Islam never submitted him, but in the interview, Islam never said he did. He only said that they had a good fight. Reporter and article writer faked that Cheesy (one, two)

So I shared this with you because of how dangerous gambling is in the eyes of families and society. What could be the biggest reason behind this person giving complete money loss?

You have also shared how stupid and reckless your elder brother is. Having such a huge family, and thinking that he could earn from gambling enough to make their life better, instead of finding a more paid work. Moreover, instead of trying to fix the problem, he ran from it by walking into unknown direction. Your brother is a perfect example that age is nothing in gambling. Probably +18, but still act so childish and does stupid things.

An advice to you elder brother - next time gamble online in a popular casino that has cashback and rakeback. At least his wife would have some money to buy bread or rice to survive for a day, until he searches for solution of a deep ass situation he is in.
