Ben McLannahan, writing in today’s Financial Times, is reporting that Mt Gox creditors in Tokyo have demanded payments to them be paid in the form of bitcoins rather than cash. Mt Gox was once the largest online exchange but went offline in February of this year and revealed, or more accurately claimed that it had ‘lost’ 750,000 of its clients bitcoins as well as 100,000 of its own. Gox later claimed to have ‘discovered’ 200,000 lying around in an old digital file. In March of this year I wrote that $113 Million of bitcoins may be moving through the blockchain, and many of Mt Gox’s creditors appear to be somewhat doubtful that their bitcoins were, in fact, ever lost. Daniel Kelman, a US Layer, resident in Taiwan, today informed the notified trustee to the Mt Gox bankruptcy, Nobuaki Kobayashi, of his intention to form a ‘rebel group’ of creditors seeking to receive their payments in the form of bitcoins. At the first gathering of creditors at a Tokyo District Court on Wednesday, Daniel Kelman, a New York-qualified lawyer now resident in Taiwan, notified trustee Nobuaki Kobayashi of his plans to form a rebel group. McLannahan explains that under Japanese law, a committee representing more than half of creditors has the power to “participate” in proceedings, so long as it satisfies certain conditions and is recognized by the court as representing the interests of creditors as a whole. Kelman explained that it was their view that any large scale sale of bitcoins for cash could lead to a depressed market for Bitcoin, and that is not in the interest of the creditors. For example they are looking for an active Lead Developer with a wage of 1000 Judgecoins / Week with an already fund made for 13 months with 13.5k Judgecoins , i guess it has payed vacations too . The main idea is that they are very serious about it and looking for an active team to be part of this serious & honest project. It means to show others that bounties can pe paid and hire dev’s without PREMINE . Also no shady sockpuppets and it’s creator posted his personal carreer bio on JudgeCoinwebsite which it’s very rare since when stuff get bad shady coins without developers tend to vanish without an response . New Article about BlackCoin: The Black Menace: Blackcoin Aims to Be The New Standard For Cryptocurrencies On February 16 2014, bitcointalk user rat4 launched Blackcoin. A revolutionary cryptocurrency using Proof of Stake as the main method of coin generation. In less than 3 months the coin has skyrocketed to a high of just over $.20 and then settled down to around $.13. People are going crazy over Blackcoin! There is even a Dutch company that offers Blackcoin as a payment option for their airplanes. What is it about this coin that makes it so appealing? There are a few big things that stand out to me in this coin. First of all, you have the Proof of Stake (PoS) function. Proof of Stake mints new coins based on compound interest in the individual users wallets. The total interest is 1% annually. This relatively low interest rate helps to keep the inflation at a reasonable pace. Proof of Stake means that Blackcoin is technically unmineable, however multipools have sprung up that pay out in Blackcoin. Unfortunately this defeats one of the perks of Proof of Stake which is energy efficiency. PoS is not the only cool feature of Blackcoin. It also features 10 second confirmation times making it the fastest confirming coin currently available. This speed makes it a viable option for businesses who may not want to bother with BTC transactions that can take 10 minutes or longer... The best thing about Blackcoin in my humble opinion is how they marketed the coin. They aimed this coin towards investors who might not have otherwise been involved with cryptocurrencies. This has resulted in more and more outsiders entering into the crypto world. http://altcoinhunters.com/2014/04/cinni-coin/CinniCoin is a coin that already went through it’s PoW stage, during which 15,000,000 coins were generated. Currently being in the PoS phase, it runs a Multipool through Hashco.ws, where you can opt to be paid out in CinniCoin. So far, I’m sure none of you are impressed as there is nothing here we haven’t seen so far. While that may be true, it’s not always about what a coin offers now, but how it wants to move forward, and that’s where CinniCoin has some interesting ideas. One of the features we can (hopefully) expect in the future, is the addition of both encrypted and unencrypted messaging. My guess would be these messages will be broadcasted via the CInniCoin client. Another feature planned for the future, is asset creation and trading, with the ability to pay dividends. I’m not entirely sure how this would fit in withCinniCoin, but I’m always trying to keep an open mind, so we’ll see how they’ll tackle this. A hardware wallet seems to be planned as well. No information has been given on whether this would be a wooden wallet, like we’ve recently seen withVertCoin, or just a USB stick with the wallet pre-installed, like a lot of other coins have done. Even though there isn’t much information to go on, CinniCoin is creating over 150 Bitcoin trading volume on Poloniex in the past 24 hours, and has seen a price increase of 70%. This could be just a pump, or there could be another reason we have yet to uncover.
