Attention everyone!
We have 533EXE in our fund and we're ready to pay a bounty of 500EXE to somebody who can make a reddit tipbot as soon as possible!
Thank you.
Hey, I'm the Vertcoin Tip Bot dev, I'm out of the house right now, but I will have it up and running in around 2-3 hours.

Just bought 16k VTC, walls gone on all exchanges Here's a tip, make sure you are using a very strong rpc password. I held around 4,500 vtc, then yesterday someone cracked my rpc password, and stole 3,000 vtc. Monitoring the blockchain I have noticed this has happened to multiple wallets. So don't let this happen to you too!

FIND A FUCKING JOB AND DONT CRY HERE CAUSE OF YOUR OWN MISTAKE ( if this is even real), go find a job and dont try to get rich off of crypto, this isnt 2008 anymore, you missed the bitcoin rocket and there wont be anything remotely close to that in the future.
How is this my fault? I did everything like any other tip bot. I'm not trying to get rich because I held at one point $50,000 in cryptocurrencies. I can't hold a job because I'm still in school and I never have enough time to do anything with school and extracurricular activities. Coding and day trading is pretty much my job when I do it in the few hours I have on the weekend. Sorry my friend. Im sure you can make a few shitcoins and make ten times more in no time. I didn't create Vertcoin, and it's not a shitcoin? I said if you are in school and do programming you can "create a few Scrypt Coins (also know as shitcoins, litecoin copycats, whatever) and premine and then post it here. You will make ten times more than the VTC you lost in a short period of time. I hope I explained myself clearly this time. I never said you created VTC, nor did I say VTC is a shitcoin. Maybe english is not your first language so Im sorry. English is, I'm just tired. It's 2am and I'm just staring at my screen trying to find out what happened. I understand what you mean now, it's all good.

Hey everyone,
I'm the owner of Reddit's vertcoin tip bot. This morning at 5am, the tip bot was hacked and 3,000 Vertcoin were stolen. Only my personal supply was affected. I still do not know how this hack was even possible. The address that stole them was VhhUTJ5ysbXfakyeSeShQKnC78YAbao6vE. Reddit's Vertcoin tip bot will be taken down for a while, if not indefinetely. I am sorry for any inconveniences, but I can't deal with another hack like this. If you somehow hacked me by accident, please return the Vertcoins, I don't have a job, so something like this is completely horrible to me.
If you would like to donate, my address is: VkJBwmxk8FJ9T4CbSv4dWUGaN8d16rtYGU
Thanks

Wrong mingw version (see bold text above). Follow instructions on the command window when installing mingw or look a couple posts above. You need to uncheck "install gui".
Yeah I fixed it, but do you know how I can fix the one I just posted? "Alright, I fixed that, but now I am running into another error when building daemon: In file included from bignum.h:12:0, from main.h:8, from db.h:8, from net.cpp:6: util.h:25:29: fatal error: boost/version.hpp: No such file or directory compilation terminated. mingw32-make: *** [obj/net.o] Error 1 !!!!!! Did you set the correct boost suffix on the .pro file?

Bump: Everyone! I still haven't been able to compile the coin as I am on windows, and it is near impossible with mingw. If you are on linux and can help compile boomcoin, please message me! If I can't get it done by tomorrow, I will most likely have to postpone the release

|
|
I will pledge another 200 VTC

Consider that this makes at least 5 coins launching that day
Is their some sort of calendar that I can see different launch dates? I would rather choose a day with fewer releases.

Hello everyone, I have heard several complaints from people that they would like to use P2Pool, but it is just too hard to setup. Well today, I am releasing the beta version of StableMiner. StableMiner is a program that combines CGMiner and P2Pool in a GUI interface, allowing even the most inexperienced Bitcoin miner do responsible mining. I build this software because we recently almost had two 51% attacks, using P2Pool reduces the chances of this happening. Also, this version has a slight bug on some windows computers, where it opens a new instance of the program when you hit 'start mining', so just exit out of the new instance for now, until I can get around to fixing it. Also, until I can find a way to package them together, the StableMiner software and the 'Dependencies' folder must be in the same location. I understand that many of you are not going to just jump in and use a random software built by a new member, so feel free to build it from source, I included the instructions in the readme file on github. This program uses CGMiner 3.1, meaning it can only be used with USB ASIC and FPGA miners, no GPUs. Enjoy! (For anyone wondering, I will create a scrypt version soon) Also: I do not have the necessary hardware to compile this for OSX and Linux. I have included universal build instructions in the readme file on github. If you would like to contribute, just follow the instructions to generate the software for your system. I will offer a reward if you compile this for you OS. Images: (Ignore the name EasyMiner, it was the first release, but I was advised to changed it because BFGMiner uses the name too) Downloads:Github: https://github.com/Argutus1/StableMinerWindows Exe: https://github.com/Argutus1/StableMiner/releases/tag/v0.1OSX: Needs to be compiled, see above Linux: Needs to be compiled, see above Donations may be sent to: 13GGffkBfcf8nbfBE2qxnxgpqXAbjEyehF

I am working on a multi-cryptocurrency local exchange that I expect to finish by Christmas. It currently has support for bitcoin and litecoin, but if you would like to have a new one added, just post below and I will decide.
Sorry for this post being bleak, I am trying to keep my project under wraps.
