Considering this thread is 199 pages long, I don't think I have much to contribute to the conversation besides just putting in my mindset. I think bitcoins and cryptocurrency are a good stepping stone in becoming rich.

When I put in my money what would make me most happy is that I at least get a 15% return. Why? Because of the historic yearly returns from stock indexes. Maybe one day cryptocurrency might just fall flat or serve no greater purpose, but at least I was able to accelerate my dreams of FIRE by years in comparison to if I just stayed with normal stocks and ETFs.
