So this is a Monero Fork with 40% Premine. Wow  Hi! Thank you for raising this point. I can only confirm that 40% of the supply has been mined, however I think you are a bit cutting a long story short. Most of the funds will be given back to the community through the Airdrops as we mentioned. Of the remaining, we have a defined and strict policy on how the funds will be used to support the project. If you look in detail you will notice that the team's stake in the project is actually far below than what the industry standard is, considering also that the release of the funds is conditional on our results by being linked to the market cap. Finally, it is important to remind that these funds are subject to quarterly external audits. Thank you again for being challenging on this as transparency is a key element in this business.. Guilhem Who's doing the external audits and who's locking the funds away? At the moment the 40% are in your control. In order to have them released conditionally, there would need to be a system in place. |

Safe investment: Go for any top 100 coin that appeals to you and has a solid team/product/appearance.
Risky, but lucrative investment: Look out for newcomer-coins or next-to-boom coins with a yet small market capitalization.
I personally have high hopes in ALQO. German coin with a lot of upcoming things (a new exchange being one of those to come this year!).

With all the good news regarding regulations , i think the market can grow pretty big.
But i still think it is to hard for ''regular'' people , it is so easy to get scammed .
And if you aren't on top of that or take the easy way out by putting it on an exchange there is a big chance you will lose your money.
So i am looking forward to solutions to that without compromising centralization .
Yeah - knowledge is essential for a safe and successful participation in the crypto - market. Regarding the topic: I'll say it will be not more than 1 trillion by the end of this year. Not going to say no to a much higher result in the end though  |

I wouldnt be so sure about that yet. Volume is declining progressively, price is only above 8k dollars again for some days now. Be cautious with saying/thinking that the bearish phase is over. Might still take a little while. |

Could be, or it could be just a normal market reaction knowing that bitcoin had an enormous gain from 2016 and most traders think that $19k is already a good time to cash out. I, for one would share the same sentiment, as I averaged all my buys @ $5000 and an almost 4x gain is very good given that you're just sitting there waiting for your money to grow. While there's still some manipulation currently on going in the crypto market, the massive sell-off in cryptospace couldn't be hinted towards manipulation alone; smart traders just want to cash out, and those who thought that it'll always be up sold at a loss in fear of getting their asses burned by these traders in the process.

Man darf nicht vergessen, dass hinter dem BTC auch ein Realwert mit einem realen Nutzen als Bezahlcoin steckt.
Hmm, es wird ja an allen bzw. vielen Kryptos eifrig gewerkelt, aber von mass adoption ist das alles noch sehr, sehr weit weg. Und wenn erstmal die "ganze Welt" Krypto benutzt - ob das dann noch funktioniert (selbst mit entsprechenden Weiterentwicklungen) ? Ich denke, die Technik an sich ist viel wichtiger als das eigentliche, reine Bezahlen. Reine Bezahlcoins werden es in Zukunft wohl eher schwer haben, da es viele andere coins gibt, die noch viel mehr können, mit denen man aber eben auch bezahlen kann. Da hast du recht mittlerweile haben coins wie dash den bitcoin in mass adaption und Funktionalität deutlich überholt. Wenn der Bitcoin da nicht blad das lighning verpasst bekommt, wird er wohl nicht mehr seinen zweck erfüllen Meint ihr, dass sich der Preis der Altcoins irgendwann vom Preis des Bitcoins abkoppeln wird? Da Bewegungen des Bitcoin aktuell - aufgrund seiner Gewichtigkeit - gleichsam auch Bewegungen des gesamten Kryptomarktes darstellen und somit alle Coins gleichermassen betreffen: Nein, in absehbarer Zeit wird sich das nicht aendern. |

Nein. Die Haltefristverlägerung ergibt sich aus § 23 EStG: Bei Wirtschaftsgütern im Sinne von Satz 1, aus deren Nutzung als Einkunftsquelle zumindest in einem Kalenderjahr Einkünfte erzielt werden, erhöht sich der Zeitraum auf zehn Jahre; Oh, das waere ja ggf. sogar nachteilig  Ja. Was ist deine Einschaetzung zu meiner Frage?

Interessant - Danke dir fuer die schnelle Antwort Nochmal der Hinweis: da steht nichts bzgl. der Verlängerung der Haltefrist, da steht nur, dass man keine Kapitalertragssteuer auf die erwirtschafteten Erträge zahlt, sondern Einkommenssteuer. Oh, das waere ja ggf. sogar nachteilig Was ist deine Einschaetzung zu meiner Frage? habe mich nun durch die kompletten 53 Seiten gewaelzt, jedoch keine befriedigende Antwort auf die Frage,
- ob Masternodes, gleichsam wie PoS Coins, zu einer Verlaengerung der Haltefrist von 1 auf 10 Jahre fuehren?
finden koennen. Im Diskurs wurde angemerkt, dass, anders als bei PoS Coins, der Ertrag aus den Masternodes nicht zwangslaeufig als Zins gewertet werden muesse, sondern als Ertrag aus der Bereitstellung der Masternode fuer sonstige Netzwerkfunktionen betrachtet werden koenne.
Konkretes Beispiel:
Ich kaufe 5000 Coins fuer eine Masternode.
Ein Jahr spaeter verkaufe ich, gewinnbringend, die urspruenglichen 5000 Coins, sowie 2500 Coins aus Masternode-Ertraegen.
Wie melde ich dies nun zur Steuer an?

Ich zitiere hier nochmal aus der FB-Gruppe eines Steuerberaters: https://www.facebook.com/groups/169607323789427/search/?query=masternode "Zunächst einmal muss man bei dieser Form darauf hinweisen, dass es derzeit keine unmittelbare Besteuerungsnorm für derartige Erträge gibt. Es muss also auf Abgrenzungen zur Einordnung zurückgegriffen werden. In manch Forum fällt hier schnell das Wort Abschlagsteuer, das ist aber leider falsch, steuerlich wäre es vermutlich die einfachste Lösung, aber die Kriterien, nach denen die Abschlagsteuer greift, treffen auf diese Form eben nicht zu (negative Abgrenzung). Kurz lässt sich folgendes sagen: 1. Du betreibst damit kein Gewerbe 2. Es handelt sich um eine Form der Beteiligung an einem Unternehmen, dass aus der Generierung von Coins Erträge erwirtschaftet 3. Selbstverständlich sind die Erträge, die Du aus der Beteiligung erhälst steuerpflichtig 4. Da es sich nicht um eine Kapitalforderung im Sinne der derzeit gültigen Definitionen handelt, gelten die Erträge nicht als Erträge aus Kapitalvermögen 5. Die Erträge sind als sonstige Erträge gem § 22 Satz 1 Nr. 3 EStG zu versteuern. Hier besteht eine Freigrenze von € 256,00, bis zu diesem Betrag werden die Einkünfte nicht besteuert, wenn Die Einkünfte diesen Betrag übersteigen, wird der Gesamtbetrag versteuert, es handelt sich bei den € 256,00 also nicht um einen Freibetrag." So wie ich das jetzt gelesen habe, verlängert sich die Haltefrist weder bei POS-Coins noch beim betreiben von Masernodes auf 10 Jahre. Somit ist nicht der Tag an dem du die COINS erhälst der Stichtag für die Steuern, sondern der Tag an dem du die Coins veräußerst. Interessant - Danke dir fuer die schnelle Antwort |

When we come to Bitcoin we need patience and determination. Bitcoin is an electronic currency whose quantity is limited. So it can not die prematurely. We have nothing to worry about Bitcoin. This is an opportunity for us to hold more Bitcoin.
The final decision is yours.
Of course it can die prematurely - in case nobody believes in its value anymore and stops trading it. This is very unlikely however :-) |

after Analysing in 2018 bitcoin will surely be higher double at the price of $19,000,00 and like its bitcoin will reach its peak for the highest price waiting 2-3 years coming

You never know. But imho, you should wait some more. I think there is a risk that the support at 6000 will be broken in the next few days. 5000 is the magic border.
