9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoins valuable? on: July 08, 2018, 07:19:43 PM
Fundamentally  for thing to have the value there basic rules of supply and demand . Bitcoin follows this basic rules, people also want bitcoin which also makes it valuable. Which same as other currency.

While fiat currencies derive value from the governments that back them, currencies like gold are valuable in and of themselves. Currently, bitcoin isn’t like other currencies in that it is not universally accepted. There are limits on what it can be used for. While not backed by a government or valuable by themselves, bitcoins are still used as a store of value, a placeholder for the goods and services that they can be exchanged for, as with traditional currencies.

Bitcoin have its unique Value from the fact its lack official backing or acceptance,  it has generated an ecosystem in which many people are willing to trade and accept it. In fact, some perceive bitcoin to be more valuable, or more useful, than other currencies in that it is a better option for certain purposes, such as seamless digital transfers and use across borders. Also, because there is a cap set on the total number of bitcoins that will ever exist, the currency cannot be devalued through inflation as others can. Finally, a key benefit of bitcoin is known as “censorship resistance,” its ability to be used for transactions that could normally be censored by other payment networks.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme? on: June 20, 2018, 11:24:58 AM
If bitcoin was ponzi scheme it would have run away and we wouldn't have bitcoin. Bitcoin has survive in good and in very bad times as well. Ponzi scheme is where there are people behind bitcoin but bitcoin don't have backing so how it can be ponzi scheme.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN BITCOIN on: June 14, 2018, 07:03:48 PM
Bitcoin could become illegal in all countries that bans child pornography after discovering this: https://www.sciencealert.com/bitcoin-illegal-almost-everywhere-after-shocking-blockchain-discovery-child-pornography

What can you say about it?

So they should ban fiat currency than they should ban internet also. I never get it why people dont understand technology is not  bad people who use it are bad.instead of banning bitcoin they should catch people who are doing these terrible thing
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN price in December 2018? on: June 09, 2018, 10:44:30 PM
its hard to predict bitcoin what exactly the price will be . i remember in December 2017 people were saying bitcoin will go up from now and look what happen bitcoin drop 50% below . So its very hard to predict bitcoin price. Some of the youtubers are saying it will go up to 50000 dollar and some are saying it will go up when the institution will come up with the money. But they are waiting when the price will go down and we dont know how low it will go down. But when does it the bitcoin will rise
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans banks from using cryptocurrencies on: June 08, 2018, 06:03:18 PM
Well if its true than its bad thing for the people of iran who are in crypto. Government of iran needs to understand that blockchain can help them in tough time.they need to understand iran should launch there own crypto rather banning them which will create more difficult time for them
