Thank you very much for the PSU suggestions.

I assume that the rest of the components look alright for building a rig.

2400w server PSU + 1200W ATX PSU.
That could work, but how do I link them together? Can they be kept separate?

Hello,

I want to build a rig with 13 1080 TI's and I want to ask around if there are any caveats that I'm overlooking and a little advice if there are.

I want to fit them on a ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ 13GPU Mining Motherboard using PCI risers (of decent quality of course).

My biggest issue is with energy. The 1080 ti is rated at about 250w, even more for versions like the zotac extreme editions, so I expect that I should need around 4000W to be safe.

I couldn't find a server PSU that outputs this kind of energy at a good price (and I would also have possible trouble mounting it to a conventional motherboard), so I'm thinking of installing multiple ATX PSU's to cover for this power demand.

While it is possible to have them power different components independently, I saw around here that I could get some add2psu devices to get them in sync such that hardware won't get damaged in the case of a power outage or any other similar issues. I'm wondering if there are any other ways of achieving this or whether there are similar devices on the market.

As for the rest of the components, the ram, the mounting rack and the processor, I think things are pretty straightforward.

Could anybody confirm that I am on the right track here? Or is anything that I'm missing or should pay particular attention to?
