You should keep an eye on EOS. Dan Larimer, the co-founder of Steem and Bitshares, created EOS, and its blockchain is finally up and running after lots of tests and bug fixes. The real hype that surrounds EOS is due to ONO which is a new social network, and it has already been launched to 50,000 in the Chinese market. The platform will be launched internationally soon, and it plans to use EOS as their blockchain.

I recommend you pay attention to NEO. It is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies on the market. It competes with coins like Ethereum, Cardano, EOS and a few others. NEO provides a platform where developers can build decentralised applications and smart contracts. NEO differs from ETH as the coding language needed to build said app is through existing languages, therefore removing the barrier to entry that Ethereum has.

In my point of view, EOS is better than ETH. EOS was designed with flexibility in mind. This is in view of the fact that complaints have been made concerning the fact that on Ethereum when one application stops working on the blockchain network, the performance of other applications is also affected. EOS aims to solve this issue by suspending the problematic app until the code has been updated by block producers. With EOS the various parts of an application can be disabled as well as enabled all at once.

I highly appreciate of DeepOnion. This coin has one of the strongest communities in the cryptocurrency world. The current low value is only because the coin is very new (not even one year old) and it has received a lot of FUD from competing cryptocurrencies that are envious of DeepOnion’s fast growing community. There are a few milestones that DeepOnion has still to pass in order to boom, but they are a sure bet to happen this year.

I speak highly of Litecoin. Litecoin is one of the few altcoins from the early days of cryptocurrencies that has not only survived but has also managed to maintain its “digital silver” to Bitcoin’s “digital gold” status. Since its inception, Litecoin has managed to stay a regular fixture in the top ten largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. Furthermore, Litecoin also perceived by many as the better transactional currency than Bitcoin due to its faster transaction times and lower transaction fees.

I believe that ADA has a great future. It has a good 3rd generation platform which has the potential of even surpassing Ethereum and Bitcoin in value. It was specifically designed as an improvement on the strength on the two largest coins. The Cardano developers made the platform in a way that it has taken care of problems like governance, interoperability, as well as scalability.

I suggest you invest in Litecoin at present because of Bitcoin’s growths and futures trading, which spiked its prices. I think that any positive developments in the Bitcoin community directly benefits Litecoin, not only because it trickles down to Litecoin and other cryptocurrencies, but also because the added traffic within the Bitcoin network drives up transaction fees and clogs the system, causing migration towards the Litecoin project.
