4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] BLOCKCLOUT - ASSET MANAGEMENT PLATFORM + 15% BONUS FOR BITCOINTALK on: April 06, 2018, 11:31:08 PM
On the truth side, for a beta, why is a username and password required?  I can understand for those selected users.  If trying out the features is really the objective, I say do not require a username and password.  It only makes me think I have to sign up try out the beta.  If you have to require a login, why not provide a dummy username and password.  Are you going to give the option to save data for a beta?

In this climate of various governments, I would like to know if I would even be able to sign up.  I have disliked sites that require an email and password only to find out afterwards that my country of residence is prohibited.  Again, provide the information up front.

The idea of an asset management and AI trading bot at your disposal is worthwhile for those who want an edge on their crypto finances.  Maybe one has built enough of a portfolio that a spreadsheet is not worth maintaining.  Suppose one is out and about and does not want to be chained to their computer screen or tethered to a smart phone.  An Asset management feature and AI trading bot is something worth trying and see if it fits one's lifestyle.  Don't want to build or develop the tools?  BlockClout touts their product will take care of the burden.

Blockclout is using GDAX api which means if you are familiar with GDAX itself, think of it as an extension by design.

Regards with an ICO, again, provide the information upfront.  Would you want a true number of those that are geniunely interested?

As a potential customer, I have not come information that tells me "this is what we have over our competitors".

I would like for Blockclout to consider my keypoints especially when contributors are handing over currency to fund this project.

The platform looks nice.  The whitepaper needs to be already ready for analyzing as the note I found said it was coming soon.  I will revisit to see how the progress is going.

Good luck.

I see the above bounty to get VOT tokens.

I also found this on medium:
https://medium.com/@1WorldOnline/get-your-free-1wo-tokens-cf5a3d9c442c

to get "$48K worth of 1WO (15K 1WO tokens + 25K 1WO tokens on Bit-Z"

for VTC tokens.

Can someone from 1WorldOnline confirm both bounties from bitcointalk and medium are both valid?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Quantum Block - decentralized ecosystem [ICO February 26] on: February 08, 2018, 07:24:09 PM
I recommend saying upfront what parts of the world cannot participate.  I reside in the U.S.  Please put that restriction in your whitepaper or make a link available to read the Terms and Conditions before signing up.

I have signed up to other ICOs only to find out i cannot participate.  I hold off joining Telegram group when I have an idea of the participants involvement.

I will drop back to see how this evolves.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: eCoin Launched! on: February 06, 2018, 09:28:43 PM
I thought, oh, hell!  How did I miss this red flag sale?

The current up percentage stands at 3267.22% from coincap.io and still lists it with its numbers.  That is what caught my eye.  Then, I went to coinmarketcap.com which still has its data posted.  Next step was to go to the website listed.  Website inaccessible.  Last activity FB page was November 2017.  Hmmm...Now I found this thread and went to the last page to read what has been confirmed.

At least, cryptocompare.com is not listing it.

Haven't yet come across a website devoted to scam cryptocoins/ICOs like bullshido.net for martial arts

www.bullshido.net/category/martial-arts/

For a moment, I thought I missed a bargain.

Anyone asking, no, I did not buy. Found other much better sales  Grin
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Project name: ConnectX + 25 coins for attending the webinar on: January 29, 2018, 12:32:48 AM
I attended the ConnectX webinar recently.  The CEO talks about how ConnectX addresses current issues of the blockchain along with how satellites will help to alleviate the P2P congestion building on the internet.

If you missed this webinar, another will be held.  Sign up with ConnectX to get started with ConnectX Coins with another bonus if you attend the webinar.

Here is a link to get started.

If you have worked with a team that communicates regularly with proper updates, Lance Parker is that type of CEO.  He keeps you in the loop.

In the video, he takes the time to explain from soup to macadamias how things have emerged in a short time.  You do not have to be an expert.  Lance explains things that a beginner can understand.

I recommend participating in the chat rather than just logging on and multitasking during the webinar.  Do show up early enough because the limit is 300 when I attended.  It lasts on an average of one hour.   The info is fascinating enough you won't realize the time passes.

The presentation is well organized.  The information presented flows from start to finish.  If you are a beginner, you may hear bits and pieces that are familiar, but have not been been able to put it together.  Lance helps fill in the information gaps.

Hello. This is quite interesting especially if I get to participate...bragging rights, mind you.  Are you still accepting takers?

I built my computer with these specs:
Win 7 64 bit
Intel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 3.6GHz
16 GB ram
Intel HD Graphics 4600

Browsers: (where do I start?)
Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, IE
(I use a variety for various reasons)

Android:
Samsung Tab A (I could put this one to work as it is idle most of the time)
Chrome is installed on this tablet.

I am wondering a few things.
Would my machine(s) require to be running 24/7?
Does my machine need to be idle and not running multiple apps that will take up resources and interfere with the mining?
Can I do live streaming from a cable network website at the same time as mining is in progress?
I work from home.  Can mining take place while Skype is running?  Skype would run on my work computer, but connected to the same router as my personal machine.

Thanks.
