1  Economy / Exchanges / stocks.exchange withdraw intentionally cancelled by admin, no support on: January 29, 2018, 04:09:37 PM
I posted this in the stocks.exchange ANN as well, but I want to warn people to stay away from this exchange.  At first it worked fine but I needed to withdraw my BTC for something else and I put in my 2FA and at first it said withdrawal approved, and then hours later it said "CANCELLED BY ADMIN" and the btc was put back into my account.  Now I can't withdraw ANY coins.  There was no communication as to why this happened.   Another bitcointalk member reported the same thing.  I can still trade because well they take a fee with each trade (how convenient).  Basically I think they lure you in by working for a bit, and then once you trade enough to have a reasonable balance they block your withdraws.  Other people have also reported that deposited coins were used to set up masternodes.  That's not how an exchange is supposed to operate.

@luxbot
Yesterday, stocks conducted technical work so, I suppose they improved some functions.

As well, you can cancel orders on the market page of the particular coin.
Just click "My" under SELL or BUY and all your orders will show up, ready for cancelation.

I do not had any problems using this exchange.
They experience enormous inflow of traders and users, so need to implement improvements to service this huge traffic.
Some glitches always happen when you experience thousands of new users, every week.

It's amazing to watch how this traffic grow, every week:

Passion Coin, it is not a "glitch" if an ADMIN cancels your withdraw intentionally.  I know how to cancel my orders but I am just saying that it takes an extra click.  Right now I can still buy and sell coins, but I can't withdraw ANY of them, and the support is not even responding.  Does this sound like an exchange you want to use?  Anyway, I will post updates here.

Users beware.  I have used this exchange for a week and it was going pretty well.  Multiple withdraws and deposits went through just fine.  Then today I tried to withdraw my BTC I also got the Admin Cancelled Withdraw and now I can't withdraw any coins.  I think they hook you in with it working for a week or so and then if you deposit more or traded into more BTC then they try to stop you from withdrawing.  There was absolutely no warning.  I've filed a support ticket and I will update as to what they say.  But if I can actually withdraw again I still won't use them again.  The site is horribly set up.  Most exchanges allow you to cancel orders on the same page and when you click buy/sell the numbers always show up on the wrong boxes.  It takes way too much work to trade on this exchange AND they randomly block your withdraw.  I can't withdraw ANY of my coins from there right now. Not just BTC and it pisses me off.
