1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: October 15, 2018, 06:41:10 AM
If you're a long-term investor, I think buying bitcoin is the best option. Because bitcoin is the best of all cryptocurrencies, holding it for long will give us even bigger gains, especially now that the price is very cheap.
2  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / 什么是挖矿 on: October 15, 2018, 06:34:40 AM

4  Economy / Economics / Data is the new oil energy source on: October 14, 2018, 07:28:47 AM
More and more people are realizing how powerful data is and need to be protected. Data is the new oil, and companies like FB and amazon are the new petrodollar oil champions in the world. Fortunately, blockchain provides a reliable way to break these islands of data and create a world in which data can be liberated by sharing data while still maintaining the same ledger or its original ownership, allowing creators to be rewarded.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Blockchain is not private on: October 14, 2018, 07:20:04 AM
If you really want to understand blockchain technology and invest in new projects, you definitely need to read the data security laws. I've seen so many Dapps that offer opportunities to free people, free data or create open markets. Cool, but the white paper doesn't say how to store these extremely private, sensitive data controlled by a highly developed set of international data security laws, does it? Data privacy on the blockchain is integrated with the underlying chain, or built in the top layer, which will create a huge market that is critical to expanding consumer-grade applications.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe and invest in ICOs? Why? on: October 13, 2018, 11:12:04 AM
I think an ICO is still worth investing in, but it's not the golden age of an ICO anymore and we have to look for real potential projects, not all kinds of hoaxes.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO downturn on: October 13, 2018, 11:04:41 AM
I'm sorry to say that the golden age for ordinary people entering the ICO is over. This value will shift more to venture capital funds for the simple reason that many large vc funds offer significant upside. Neither propaganda nor their support networks, and most of the projects are mindless. Most vc funds are usually 100 percent.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Venture capital and ICO on: October 13, 2018, 10:56:13 AM
When investing in early-stage tech companies, don't assume that the average venture capital firm knows what they're doing. They generally have no rules and no clear direction for success. The vast majority of venture capital investments do not have the desired effect. The same goes for crypto project investments.

I think most ICO and early blockchain investors don't know what they're doing, which is why they want to put their money into projects with popular sentiment because it's the only reliable mode of exploration. It's important to know that many VCS also can't accurately measure a project's success. It's hard work, and the unpredictable nature of blockchain technology and creativity makes it even harder.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / KMS will be huge in the future. on: October 11, 2018, 06:30:46 AM
Most people are reluctant to hold the public key, and even if they try to do it, some experts will still mess it up. Storing your own private key is as terrifying as hell. It's important to remember that most people don't even have the responsibility to manage money, let alone carry a secret number with them so that anyone can steal your money in a second. In the future, KMS will be a huge market. Some KMS solutions may even become like crypto-banks.
10  Economy / Economics / Big institutional money has yet to enter the field. on: October 11, 2018, 06:25:01 AM
Huge amounts of money have yet to come in. I'm talking about pension funds, teacher retirement funds and large index funds. They're not in the realm of cryptography right now, but they're just around the corner. There are two reasons. First, there is a lack of hosting services to help them provide/buy/store passwords. Second, it's too unstable for them. That has turned most of the big money going into crypto into technology-focused venture funds and some family offices.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: October 10, 2018, 07:34:29 AM
I agree with you that cryptocurrencies will never take over the world, Banks will always exist, Banks are traditional financial institutions, and we cannot forget that Banks are commercial entities. The blockchain technology will co-exist with Banks in the future.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't start your day by checking the price of bitcoin in the morning. on: October 10, 2018, 07:26:13 AM
I'm used to checking the price of bitcoin every day, which has become a part of my life. I don't think there's any good way to change that, because I'm addicted to investing in bitcoin.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Did bounty hunters really get token for free? on: October 09, 2018, 08:45:49 AM
The bounty hunters don't need to put in any money, but the bounty hunters do a lot of hard work to get a reward. Sometimes we spend months getting worthless tokens, and the project side doesn't pay us because their project failed.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Asian countries have the greatest influence on bitcoin? on: October 09, 2018, 07:48:31 AM
I think China is one of the most influential countries in the bitcoin economy, and most investors and traders come from China. Even if cryptocurrency trading is banned in China, I believe the market will recover.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market doesn't fall, is it growing steadily!? (thoughts and analysis) on: October 09, 2018, 06:16:40 AM
Any rise in the bitcoin market will be followed by a fall, and all the growth will only cause the bubble to burst. So the decline in the market is protecting the crypto market. But bitcoin is still very bullish in the long run.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Prediction/Fear Was Right!! on: October 08, 2018, 10:16:21 AM
I think the volatility in the crypto market is normal, we can't predict their prices, but I think eth has stopped going down now, the market is holding up, maybe it will go up again in a few months, we don't need to panic.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility on: October 08, 2018, 07:35:51 AM
Bitcoin is high volatility in the market, and only then will it attract more investors. They want to take advantage of volatility for short-term profits, and volatility makes prices move so quickly that they can make you profitable in the short term.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: October 08, 2018, 07:27:20 AM
I don't think bitcoin will be regulated by any government, and it's impossible to directly try to manage bitcoin because of its decentralized nature. Governments can regulate cryptocurrencies, allowing their people to use bitcoin legally.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I join 50 bounties on: October 05, 2018, 03:30:43 AM
Participation bounty focuses on the project itself rather than the amount. If the bounty you join is potential and successful, you will get more rewards, but most of the projects now are more like scams.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think the market is down right now? on: October 05, 2018, 03:17:21 AM
I think the market went down because there was so much counterfeit money, so many fraudulent ICO projects that scared investors. So the price of the whole crypto market has been affected, especially the price of eth has gone down a lot.
