It depends on your perspective. Let's take for instance the Russian Ukrainian conflict. Russia wants to enhance it's borders and make the economy better, so they take Ukraine. Ukraine want nationality, so they don't want to be part of Russia.

In addition, lack of financial resources, heavy insolvency of a large number of economies, lack of natural resources, environmental pollution, and political instability in many parts of the world pose more than enough threats to make us tackle these issues seriously. It is difficult to state which of the mentioned problems is most important and endangers the global world most seriously, due to their being interrelated and interdependent. Nevertheless, I would like to highlight the issues of inadequate education and corruption, since these have extremely negative effects upon the survival and development of many countries.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: October 07, 2018, 07:02:58 AM
Other students might want to minor in economics. Economics offers a good complement to finance majors and others in the CBA, as well as LAS students majoring in political science, sociology, mathematics, and other areas. Premeds and College of Engineering students also often find the minor both interesting and valuable.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people don't vote? on: September 24, 2018, 08:08:48 PM
My teacher was begging because millions of people who can vote, don’t. Voter turnout in the United States is incredibly low compared to similar countries, notes Donald Green. He’s a political scientist at Columbia University in New York City. In fact, U.S. voter turnout ranks 31 out of 35 developed countries — nations with advanced economies and a heavy use of technology. That’s according to a Pew Research Center study released this past summer.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: July 03, 2018, 04:01:40 PM
I don't believe Bitcoin is done with its big runs. Most of my port in alts, but I take profit in BTC, and increase my alt position when Bitcoin pumps. I would never bet it all on Bitcoin though.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you deal with depression? on: June 04, 2018, 10:05:50 PM
Mental health medication, including antidepressants, are effective in reducing symptoms of depression. They often work well as a supplement to therapy or short-term solution for symptoms that might initially be severe. Nonetheless, even their short-term effects can take two weeks or more to activate. If you are considering mental health medication, consult a psychiatrist, not only a primary care doctor.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people dump their Bitcoins ? on: May 22, 2018, 03:33:50 PM
Yes, there’s a need for blockchain and some sort of virtual currency, but until someone cracks the code and comes up with something that is scalable, secure, easy to use and performs some value-creating function, I’m telling you to run for the hills like the Wizard of Oz and not take your bitcoin with you!
8  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: March 27, 2018, 07:10:52 AM
In school, we learn that hard work will get us ahead in life. But "that's only half the story," says Ric Edelman, a top financial adviser. "If all you do in life is work really hard, you're never going to get wealthy," he said. "Because it's not enough that you work hard to make money to set some of it aside."
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to reconcile with a girl? on: March 13, 2018, 06:08:43 AM
As you work to build your friendship, do whatever you can to show your girlfriend that you've changed and would make a better, more loving and mature partner. You can do that by being there for her when she needs you. If you can be a selfless friend to her, she'll begin to feel drawn to you again, the way she used to. Although reconciliation may take time, it's worth it in the end if you consider you get to have a long and happy life with the woman you truly love.

What kind of job would make you happiest? Here’s your chance to find out, based on the activities and subjects that most interest you. There are no right or wrong answers, but try to use the full range rather than scoring everything in the middle.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do during a panic attack? on: February 11, 2018, 08:58:32 PM
Stopping a panic attack is very simple. All you have to do is stop the emergency message from being sent to your adrenal glands. Learn these four simple steps and your panic attack will only last for three minutes. Once you understand how this works, you never have to have a panic attack again.
