Dr Douglas Streeter Rolph, an adviser to SoHo Capital and a senior lecturer at Nanyang Technological University's Nanyang Business School, said: "One of the things about using bitcoin as a means of transaction in business is that, if your underlying business is in dollars, there's a lot of volatility."

Lift Weights 3 Times Per Week; You don't need to exercise to lose weight on this plan, but it is recommended. The best option is to go to the gym 3–4 times a week. Do a warm-up and lift some weights. If you're new to the gym, ask a trainer for some advice. By lifting weights, you will burn lots of calories and prevent your metabolism from slowing down, which is a common side effect of losing weight.

I’m embarrassed of how I used to be. I remember getting a text from a girl I knew who I had damaged with my judgment. The text was seething, calling me a hypochristian (which is actually pretty clever) and a bigot. The worst part was that I didn’t care. I was on my own idiotic crusade, and there were casualties in spiritual warfare — right? Thankfully, due to spiritual and intellectual maturity, I no longer hold these views. The God I know now is nothing like the God I thought I knew then. I put the ways of childhood behind me, and I want to encourage others to do the same, for I still see many people who poison modern Christianity with their judgmental views.

That is not to say we have rosy cheeks and sunny skies ahead. Each revolution has its sensational successes with equally miserable depressions. The industrial revolution contributed to wars just as much as it contributed to global progress. The tech revolution caused trillions of dollars of economic loss just as much as it ushered in a fantastic digital world. Bitcoin likewise has many more hurdles to jump. Prices will skyrocket and sink and climb and fall. New financial innovations will allow anyone with a smartphone to be their own bank, lender, creditor -- while traditional banks may collapse. Trust will fluctuate with alarming volatility.

Mindfulness-based therapy, self-practiced mindfulness, and meditation can reduce symptoms of depression and be effective coping tools. By living in the moment and getting in touch with your external surroundings, you can temporarily detach from the internal strife of your depression. You can also do this as part of yoga, another technique therapists frequently recommend.

Thank you for sharing this story. My parents are starting to think about this with my Grandma (who recently moved into their house) and I forwarded it over to them. I am worried that all of the responsibility for my wife’s parents is going to be put on us (over her step siblings) and further that she will rely on me (being the one who handles finances)….. How do you ask your in father in law if he is prepped for death……
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Vegans? Or Going Vegan ? on: March 13, 2018, 07:15:23 PM
I find that many vegans, like myself, have done their research either by chance and accident or on purpose. Many have watched those horror-filled undercover investigation videos that are promoted via organizations like PETA, Farm Sanctuary, COK and many more. If your eyes have seen what goes on behind the scenes of a slaughterhouse, a place where animal product production takes place you will most likely not want any part in those practices. You would likely not want to participate in the pain and horror that can be found.

One study followed 18 volunteers as they practiced meditation over three years. The study found that participants experienced long-term decreases in depression. Inflammatory chemicals called cytokines, which are released in response to stress, can affect mood, leading to depression. A review of several studies suggests meditation may reduce depression by decreasing these inflammatory chemicals.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about immortality? on: February 13, 2018, 06:07:49 PM
Do I think it exists? Not on this planet, as we tend to visualize it in movies, etc, but in general, I believe anything humans can think of, is either based in a inner knowing of some fact, or based on a very probable future fact.

No I do not agree, a person should not kill a person.
