Dear all, Recently I came across an old shoe-box in which I found a coin that was "gifted" to me in an early Casascius trade with Took. With the increase in Doge price I'm selling this coin. Week started out really slow, most likely due to our slower marketing in these days, which resulted in zero sales in a timeperiod of 4 days. And then it started again, the complete income was made in the weekend, and although they are not yet marked down as it is a new week, in week 14 we are already at €122 which came in just after 00:00 for the new week. Goals:- Higher conversion rate
- Add more items on the website for sale that are not cards <-- We received our next items, we added Collection boxes, Tin boxes, maps, mats, codes etc.
- Add more single cards on the website <-- Only roughly 100 cards were added to the site, this will remain a goal for this week. Almost all sets are now organised in maps, so it will be easier to add them on the site.
- Rework and make a new banner on the site that is more attractive <-- We totally reworked the homepage and made the banner much smaller, this has improved the bouncerate so far, will keep an eye out after we have enough statistics how much of an improvement this was.
- Fill the homepage with items that will 'catch' the visitor to lower the bounce rate of homepage <-- Done
- Maintain daily visitors while lowering marketing costs <-- I have lowered the Google adwords to €1,00 a day (from 5), and stopped the Markplaats Extra which costed €50 a month, we are getting a steady userbase now, and I am lowering the costs of running this business to start focussing on profit.
- Start preperations for 3-days physical events, which will give a big exposure to the website <-- Design for flyer is being made, which is step 1 for this event.
Updated the post with new numbers. While it does not look profitable, this is mostly because every profit we are making at the moment is spent on new items and extending our stock. I may have found a first investor outside the board, it is within family and we are talking things over now, next step is making a complete businessplan. As I am more and more confident in this business, I will also offer new investors on this board an interest rate of 8% yearly, instead of a cut of the profit as was first offered (if they are more interested in steady interest rate). |

The outgoing each month will be a steady €105,73 for standard costs (Webhosting/Domain/Internet/Advertising), which is not very high. Above this the main cost will be investing in stock. We are missing out on a lot of sales at the moment due to not having enough items in stock. Out conversion rate on the website is currently very low and would be much higher with a better stock. Big events coming up: - Buying products for sale: Begin of April, currently set at € 930 euro. - Three days event in The Netherlands: 15th, 16th and 17th of April, expecting a revenue of roughly €600 to €800 in those 3 days, but mostly used for advertising our website. This website/company can turn profitable in a very short amount of time, the main factor is having items for sale, for which I am looking for an investor. I am expecting week 12 (this week) to be the first profitable week in the company. If no real interest will come from an investor in the next few weeks, then this offer will also pass over. As soon as the revenue stream in consistent I will be able to get a standard loan from the bank for the company. But the bank requires the company to be atleast 3 months old, which is the reason why I have not yet taken that step. |

Identifiable info will be everything, I am a registered company at the dutch chamber of commerce, and all needed papers (including those with my identification) is added. I cannot PM you my business plan as it is a Word document, you either have to sent me a PM with a request with an e-mail address, but before I sent you the document, I would like some confirment about your seriousness, as I am not spilling out all my personal details to anyone on the internet. It is based on trust and a valid registered company at the Dutch chamber of Commerce (and a contract). I've done trades in BTC for a total near 300k in the past on this forum. Some shows in my trust rating, and hopefully their are also people here on the fprum that can bouch for my previous webshop (usbminers.nl ) that was one of the biggest webshops in Holland for the mining community. Their are forum members here that have ordered for over 50k at my store in the past. Your trust shows that you have only been entrusted with a few hundred to a few thousand dollars worth of others' money at a time, and for short periods. Your trust also shows something closer to around $10k in trades as opposed to $300k, although some of your trades may not have involved the leaving of trust rating at their conclusion. Could you maybe have some of your trading partners post that they have traded with you, the value of the trade at the time of the trade, and if they trusted you as part of the trade? Another concern is that most of your trades involve Casascius coins, which is Suspect is not the case for your business proposal (I don't know what you are doing, so I might be wrong on this). How much experience do you have in the line of business you are proposing entering into? Even if you are not going to outright steal the money, this does not mean your project will automatically be successful. I myself would prob not let a ms70 2013 gilt let go for abything less then 3btc, and I'd prob set my ask price somewhere around 3.8btc. It's a hefty premium but I have not seen a ms70 for sale yet so they are very rare.

What if the company goes under? The investors would then be out of money and you probably have whatever is left after the company is dissolved or after going bankrupt (since it would cost more than what is given to go to your country, file in such courts, etc). Trust alone, imho, isnt enough in this case. I cannot tell you exactly how much court costs would be etc. But my guess is that you would probably be right. But, it would be hard to go bust as company, with VERY low maintenance costs (website, insurance) the chances of going bust are very slim. In a couple of weeks I am able to provide financial numbers from the first weeks of business. We have had two weekends where we went to sell at a physical place and the first two weekends of doing this our revenue was approx $500, not a whole lot, but these physical markets are just for promoting our website. The website is where the profit should come from. The website is easy to see btw, my avater is linking to it. Please don't mention the name in this topic as I don't want to get it indexed by google. We are filling the website slowly with content, the first 1500 cards are added and margins on cards are rougly between 30% and 60% each. It is a pretty well known member with a couple of 1000's of posts, but that might also be a reason why he would rather stay anonymous. Other customers were direct customers through my former webshop, they are (a.f.a.i.k) not a member on this site. Something a little easier for me to do is a little screenshot of my paypal http://imgur.com/a/qLjWS during my webshop period, it shows a good amount of bigger orders, I know it does not prove anything at this time, but the only real proof I can give is in a couple of weeks with a demo account of the admin panel with the sales on my new webshop. That will prove that my concept is viable and a good investment for investors. PS. I stopped with my previous webshop because the risks were too big for me. The amount of money on single orders was too great. If anything went wrong then I would be in risk of bankruptcy and I have a lot to lose aswell (house with mortgage). And it was a risky business, I lost around 14K to blackarrow with their delays. I was able to handle that due to profits from other sales, but it made me realize that I should have started a little smaller from the start. |
