1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are all cryptos dropping in price? on: February 10, 2018, 08:08:54 AM
There are a lot of reasons as to why the crypto market drops. First you have to remember that the whole market is volatile because much of the market is speculation. Not all projects but I would say most of them are based off speculation or scam. Remember that there are at least over 1,200 crypto coins and possibly many more to come. Another reason why the market can keep dropping is because of the fud that gets thrown around. It's obvious that whenever a mainstream source in the news talks about btc, they don't every really do their research or refuse to and talk trash about how it's not real money. lol And that brings up the last thing that can really cause downtrends is btc itself. The cryptomarket usually follows what btc does, but this will all change in the coming years as more and more projects come out with more utility and better word of mouth for btc as it's realized as a store of value and payment system rather than just a use for daily currency.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: February 06, 2018, 05:35:41 AM
Like everyone else said. Just hold out for now. You can't do anything about it atm. As much as it hurts you'll have to wait, luckily these bear markets are don't last forever. History shows that btc always fluctuates. It's going to be rough but you'll get through it Smiley
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price is decreasing. What's your strategies now? on: February 06, 2018, 05:28:49 AM
The market is fully unstable at the moment.  I personally think that the market will stable obviously ( but have no idea when  Huh  Huh) And I want to know your strategy towards the market, what you feel.

I won't be surprised if BTC hits 5k sometime soon...some are even saying 3k... who knows though. We are way too oversold rn though so maybe will bounce? I am currently going to hold for now and see what happens later today/tomorrow. This market is absolutely bonkers and the question is, is this the BTC bubble thats bursting?? I think people forget that the last major bear market we had lasted over 100 days so be prepared for that...
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash? on: February 02, 2018, 06:18:45 AM
No way is the market crashing right now because of India. Like some people have already mentioned, Indias market isn't big enough to cause such a drop. Either a HUGE correction or bear market or both? all in all many predicted this. Will see just how low it goes.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: February 01, 2018, 04:03:59 AM
That is my dream, to be able to support myself with crypto! I'm still a newb in this crazy frontier so i'm still learning but I know or hope that one day i'll get there! Does anybody have any tips or advice for anyone that is there already? I currently spend a good amount of time researching projects looking at different stuff in different professions, e.g privacy coins, utility coins, etc. or should i just stay with the top 10?

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally good news from Korea, no plans to ban crypto! on: January 31, 2018, 01:01:56 PM
South Korea has no bad news about crypto-currencies. They are only implementing real-name accounts.
However, facebook has banned advertising for ICO, which is the bad news today.

I think they did that for a couple of reasons. 1) They are trying to get into blockchain, and I think we've all heard rumors about integration with Ltc. Who knows if that will ever happen? and 2) they probably banned it for all of the scams that are/will happen.

So who knows what they were thinking, those are just my assumptions.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rate my portfolio please on: January 31, 2018, 12:48:09 PM
Hey everybody!  Smiley
After my previous mistakes, when i invested in crypto in summer 2017, i made a new portfolio.
Please rate it, i appreciate any opinion or honest critics.

Here it is:
ETH - 2 @ 0.107
XLM - 4000 @ .5230
NEO - 14.4 @ 0.01392
LTC - 12.8 @ 0.01614
WAVES - 280 @ .7709
PIVX - 280 @ .7743
ETC - 80 @ .2727
IOTA - will be added today @Binance
EOS - will be added today @Binance
XEM -  will be added today @Binance

Also, i plan to buy in QTUM, XMR, LSK.
This is a long term investment, up to 3-5 years. What do you say?

I think ETH, NEO, LTC, WAVES, XEM and EOS are all good buys! I also agree that 3-5 years is a lil long. I too would aim for a year or 2. The industry by then will be very different. I suspect that many projects will be integrated into other ones or will simply disappear as the industry tries to figure out it's direction. We are still in the early stages of blockchain technology! So always keep that in mind Smiley
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: sleeping giant on: January 31, 2018, 06:44:37 AM
Which cryptocurrency do you think is the sleeping giant and can skyrocket soon?

Any privacy coin will have a good year, (xvg, xlm, onion, kmd) the list can go on and on, otherwise it's going to be btc, and especially ethereum.  Smiley
