My 2 cents.  some people on this thread share good information and share good ideas both positive and negative.  But others just say nonsense.  If you have no interest in this coin then why waste your time making stupid comments.  I see the frustration, everyone wants the update to be released because everyone knows the price will shoot up.  Will Gulden be around in a few years? My opinion yes.  I don't feel that way about a lot of crypto coins.  If you don't think Gulden will succeed then don't invest.  Rijk made it clear his interest is to make Gulden successful as a coin  that everyone will use.  Do you believe him, if so support Gulden and back the decision that he is doing the right thing.  If not sell all your coins and invest in a coin you trust.  I asked questions on slack and Malcolm and Rijk answered and seemed pretty cool.  Maybe I'm wrong maybe i'm right, but I truly feel Gulden has the potential to be a game changer in the crypto world.

Two reasons for not agreeing with you: 1) this is the only place people can express frustration or ask inconvenient questions without being banned; 2) try being optimistic and supportive for a year or more, after you see countless deadlines missed, rubbish behavior and no sense of responsibility towards investors. Personally, I am not pissed of because of the price, but because they way these guys are behaving as if they don't owe anything to anyone. When I invested in Gulden, I did it based on an existing product, a whitepaper and a roadmap. They are not delivering on promises and not by just a week or two, but by months, many months. Try telling this on slack and remain optimistic afterwards.

Sometimes I wonder what is going on with some people, how can their brain be washed like this. It is so obvious that Gulden team cannot deliver on their promises. I'm to damn frustrated and tired to recall all their delays, lies and unfair behavior. I only wish I'd forget I've ever been involved in this bshit, but I cannot since I hold quite a number of tokens. Just waiting for the super-mega-greatest ever-never going to happen- update to dump everything, damn it!

OK..I've made the account just to post this.
I am into Gulden for a long time already and followed them pretty much every day both in terms of development and price action. I am certainly not exactly a whale in this market, but I do hold about 200k NLG which I've struggled to accumulate all this time. At this point I am quiteclose to give up this project and sell everything. It is not because of the price, it is just because the development team is not reliable in terms of delivering. Those who follow the project and are honest with themselves know what I am talking about. The truth is that the word deadline has no meaning for them. They can post a roadmap on the website and just update it for as many times as they need, without any notice or explanations. There is no guarantee about anything when it comes to sticking to a predetermined timeline. If anything, someone will write on slack something like "it was just an estimate timeline" or so, even if that timeline is missed by A LOT, not only by a week or two. The problem is that some people invest in a project based on roadmaps and their estimated implementation time. You cannot just say "yeah, whatever, it's ready when it's ready".
So for everyone who is looking to invest in this project: it is not a scam, it really has a good potential, but be prepared to get frustrated and annoyed by the way this team works and communicates. They really don't have much consideration for keeping their word or for any kind of criticism.
That being said...I don't know what I will do, but for the first time I really started to consider alternatives (and yes, I am sorry for not doing this earlier).
