This was posted to the irc channel:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/hw8ccu

They said it was maxcoin-cpuminer compiled for Windows. I laughed but then people were saying it was working so I tested it out in a VM and it looks legit. I ran it like this:

minerd.exe --algo=keccak --benchmark

and it was getting about 1100 kh/s on my Windows 7 64 bit VM with 1 virtual cpu.

This is definitely malware. Do not download.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Solo Mining Question on: December 04, 2013, 05:26:55 AM
So like many of you, I've started looking into mining new and developing alt-coins. My question is, after you set up a config file and CGMiner script, how does it know which address to send it to if you find a block... As far as I can tell, nowhere in the config or cgminer script is there a place to put your address. For this question I'm specifically referring to NetCoins....

For example:

Config:

rpcuser=Tiger2
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8122
server=1

CgMiner:

cgminer --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:8122 -u Tiger2 -p x --thread-concurrency 16000 --intensity 19 -g 1 -w 256 --gpu-engine 925 --gpu-memclock 1375
