The thing is they are pushing to keep the crypto in the Power Up and only paying out to the Power Up with a three month hold on the currency earned.   The higher the Power Up balance you hold the higher your payout for the content and reader interaction your earn.

I got my last major bitcoin purchase at when it was 7k that flip when it hit 19k.  At which time I cash out to other ALT coins when they would penning per coin and now even those coins are worth more than my original purchase price.   Now consider it took like 2 years for this boom to happen but that was because everyone became aware and started buying like crazy.   This hold Tether scandal has newbies running scared.  So market takes a dive as expected and season vets will capture this moment.
