1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If bitcoin is gone will the other coin survive? on: February 06, 2018, 12:19:27 AM
Why do you think bitcoin will be gone? I believe we're still in early stage of adapting bitcoin and other altcoin. Traditional people are threatened with what they don't know and trying to kill it but when they realize and find a way to make it beneficial to mankind they will start to make it coexist with fiat and soon adapting the idea and us early user will be the one to benefit the most.

But to answer your question, if btc will be gone cryptocurrency will lose it's flagship and credibility and everything else will fall down too. Maybe eth or ltc or some altcoin will survive but it will definitely take time for people again to go with it that is if BTC will fall and gone.

What happening now is an eye opener for everyone wants to kill BTC. Let's just try to coexist together, to make life better, secure and easier. There's a reason why BTC able to stay for many years (and survive) and that's what developer needs to find out and maximize.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Will we ever live in a cashless society where cryptocurrencies thrive? on: February 05, 2018, 11:58:25 PM
Why not want to live where fiat and crypto coexist making people life easier and better?!

Fiat for daily transaction like paying for transpo, buying something in the store or in the market etc... While crypto for paying utility bills, transferring money and payment for online shopping. Also we can use crypto instead of creditcard or payment gateway for credit card.

Fiat for daily living and cryptocurrency for all online transactions. Better and safer transaction online.

Thank you for sharing your story and this is one of best example for pump and dump.

I know a lot of friends who was trap in a p&D coin. The leader usually let them taste a success then when they invest a lot that's the time they will start losing. I also find it funny how they have to buy and sell at the same time and with your post, now I know why. Anyways, I hope a lot of newbies will read this post.

rule of thumb in trading specially in crypto is to always invest what you can afford to lose. If you just want to gain experience in trading or just want to know cryptocurrencies then I believe $10 is okay specially now btc and other altcoins are down so your $10 have somehow value unlike before that it's only for transaction fee. Anyways, why not also try to claim in faucets, join moon faucets or faucethub. You can claim in faucets nowadays and you can earn that $10 in 1-2weeks (depend on how hard you will work on it) then wait for btc and other altcoins to go up. I'm telling you that because that's how I started last year when BTC is around $5K only and LTC was around $45.
