Another day, another time out while trying to exchange BCC for BCCX. Try again tomorrow.
Honestly they should just automatically gift us BCCX at 8 to 1 ratio. 3:1 is still a huge haircut.

Ok, I found a buyer for all 11. That will be really quiet cause the BTC will just sit in my vault.
SP10 is an awesome product if it sells second hand like this! I hope that everyone is happy in your case., and those units had their ROI. Yes, the person is very smart, they are going to turn around and resell them to double their money. BTC seems to be in an uptrend, so I hope they make even more on them. Here's the run down: Build instructions for TEKcoin wallet on Ubuntu 14.04 and derivatives: ------- Ubuntu has an officially maintained personal package archive (PPA) for Bitcoin wallet. Add this repository by entering these following commands in a terminal window: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin sudo apt-get update Required packages: sudo apt-get install build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev \ libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options1.54-dev libboost-thread-dev \ libssl-dev libdb4.8++-dev miniupnpc libminiupnpc-dev Packages for Qt4 build: sudo apt-get install qt4-qmake libqt4-dev Packages for QT5 build: sudo apt-get install qt5-qmake libqt5gui5 libqt5core5 libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev-tools Download the source files and extract them to a working directory. Navigate to this folder and execute the following commands: qmake tekcoin-qt-linux.pro make An executable file named `tekcoin-qt` will be built. Thanks |

OK, TEK pool on CentralCavern has been moved to it's own dedicated server - the problem was caused by other coin pools draining resources. I'm really surprised that you are not the least bothered that you got a 1 GH/s machine and not a 1.2 TH/s machine. AMT should still owe you 4 months worth of MPP, plus a faster machine. Its not 1 GH/s, in the picture you can see that it can go 1TH/s+ . I'm not sure if I can change it or if I will even bother as 6 months was WAY too much time to wait for it to arrive (it was supposed to be here in February at the latest). I will contact AMT and see what they say about this. |

The thing is I ordered it 6 months ago from AMT, and I got this just today. I was supposed to get an AMT miner and not a miner from another company. P.S. They are listed as an Authorized Distributor on http://bitmine.ch/authorized-distributors/ , maybe they just decided to start shipping these instead. |

The thing is that when I power it on, the red panel on the front of the miner lights up, and that is it, no noise, nothing, even the Ethernet port doesn't flash which you can see at the front of the miner when i plug in the internet cable. Am I doing something wrong or missing some steps out?
Open it up and see if all the connections are connected. Its possible something came loose in shipping check everything connects properly and snug, ESPECIALLY the SDcard as I think that could be the issue. That would be the first step. If all the connections are there (take pics of the inside too please?) then if the miner still does not work after checking all the connections....pull the sdcard and check that its loaded up. I can walk you through more steps on what to do next based on that. Might mean creating an image of the SDCard and uploading it. I can take a look at the logs and such since you have not configured anything there is nothing of importance on there yet. I got it working, some bits were loose and the red front panel gave out a spark and black smoke, disconnected it and the miner booted up. It took some time for it to appear on my network. Gonna start mining and update you guys how is the miner doing. Thanks for the input. Wow they look a hell of a lot better than the DIY kits...or the Antec case. At any rate you had issues running it? IF its a similar design then you should be able to use the web interface and configure your pools. stratum+tcp://poolnamehere.com:port Check your chosen pools howto on what they require for cgminer should be similar if that is the same firmware. Until they jump online to confirm this info is an assumption. I presume it would not be too different from the other miners if anything likely the same (minus the breaking down part).
