Price is up 33% from bottom. Looks like small turn-a-round and its climbing.  Buying the drop might just of been the smart persons move Smiley

Which bottom, where, what a pile of shit post.

LCC is a big SCAM! I downloaded their wallet, imported key, got the LCC, then someone sent the LCC away, the LCC team are a bunch of SCAMMERS!

How much was sent away, a little bit or all of it?

ALL, in multiple transactions. These guys are the biggest scammers I ever seen. It is the team who does this so check their names.
Who? Is there evidence?

Made a screen of it, transactions were sent at exactly the same time when I received the final coins, all looked programmed and my PC was all clean before I installed their SCAM wallet. They are just selling their own SCAM coins on exchangers likely and try to steal LTC of course with the imported keys they get from the wallets, I hope they will get caught soon.

Hello.. there is nothing wrong with there wallet. I assume you did a check on the checksum before installing made sure it was the correct hash?
And you installed from the correct website?
You say your machine was clean before? Is it no longer clean?
Please provide some proof of your claims.

The reason you can't deposit on yobit is down to yobit.. There is nothing anyone can do to speed them up.

Mining this is far better than mining BTC at the moment if you have hardware less powereful than say S7 its worth running it on LCC chain..
Say you have S3 or S4 kicking about.. Mining LCC is the better option.  + the every block diff adjustment is a good feature and quick block times.

How did you come to this conclusion, please tell me???
With 36Ths I mine approx 31usd value of BTC per day (18usd profit + 13 usd electricity), and with the same power I mine approx 30lcc per day. That is roughly 18usd with average price that is 0.6usd on Tradesatoshi. So when you deduct electricity costs you get 5usd per day.

Been there done that, but went back to BTC after few days.

So please give me your numbers so I can go back to mining LCC  haha

Or your calculation is based on Yobit prices  Grin

I said old hardware that is almost useless at btc.. S3 per day BTC  just under $1 per day @ 500gh/s..

S9 on ebay 3k....
S9 Bitmain $2330 + 105 PSU - $2435

S9 14TH
Mined/month
Ƀ 0.03512 - $363.20   ROI 7 Months! (assuming the diff stays the same)  This is not factor electricity or DIFF..

LCC is early stages you can't expect Moon right away.. or then again stick to BTC no one if forcing you.

Your also thinking of the now not the future Smiley

Dont dump Ltc just get Some free money out of this coin, if you have the illusion that this shit coin Will beat the real Ltc dream on

Why would people dump LTC?  they get LCC for free 10:1 ratio??  I think it may be you who is dreaming Smiley

I would have just wrote "No.", but I didn't want to presume to speak for ck.  Cool
Not really "speaking for him" when he's already made his feelings adamantly known on a subject (I'm just too lazy to search for a quote).
Feel free to. Everyone knows my stance on shitcoins. The price for doing shitcoin work has remained 100BTC up front. These days I can't imagine anyone forking out the fee to pay it.

Not a bad wage if you can get it I suppose.

What is the RPC port for this coin..

And what should the .conf file be called in the QT? litecoin.conf or litecoincash.conf?

Thanks

How to solo mine LCC?
Can be done from the wallet with RPC and Litecoincash.conf ?

Some advice please.

CK Pool code is used by many pools, It was written by CK the guy behind CG miner.

Have a look at the official topic the source code is available to download free.

What about the small miners?
Bonus for the larger miners again but no incentive for the smaller miners.

Block bonus should be available to anyone finding a block as you said yourself we are already outside the DIFF curve would seem unfair to pay larger miners extra 1BTC if they find a block yet the smaller miners get nothing for block find bonus??

I understand the attraction this would bring to larger farms but what about the little guys.. We getting squished even more?

There is no difference between me running lower hashrate and finding a block and someone running 9.5ph we are all in this for the same reason, and to reward one and not the other seems unfair?

Bonus structure coiuld be worked out much better way and it would have more reach in the community..  Just my 2 cents but seems little unfair.

Add up all of the "little guys" hash and and contribution to finding a block and reconsider how valuable they actually are. I don't mean this in a disrespectful way at all, I'm just saying to make it seem like it is an unfair treatment, add up the total investment and compare it to other's investment. This isn't saying the little guys don't add value, I'm saying to compare apples to apples.

I was envisioning a small bonus to smaller miners by those who were willing to chip in, but the more I think about that, the more I see how that could potentially hurt the pool and attract too many new miners still complaining about the payouts and to be honest, the small miners are not really the goal. Bottom line, there shouldn't be much complaining about payments unless the pool was shrinking or losing hash. I like Kano's idea more and more to get the big miners here and see where that goes. Anyone who can't seem to help themselves from complaining has no obligation to stick around and I really don't understand the point in trying to convince others that the system doesn't work. Why not just go peacefully?

Anyways, I've said it before, this is my new home. I'm not leaving unless I quit mining all together for whatever reason. Otherwise, this is my home and I don't take kindly to vermin trash talkin' my home. Life aint' fair nor is lady luck.

I hope my post was not taken in the wrong light I fully understand why the pool would benefit from some larger whales pointing some hashrate here in the long run its good for us all more blocks = more pay, + more hashrate helps the pool stay competitive.  Already seen the hashrate rise a touch so that is a good sign.  + I know its out kano's pocket which dose show how much he cares about pushing the pool up the ladder.

Come On Block...

I don't mine of any of the larger pools I do not think they play by the rules and I do fear they short change miners out of there earnings.
I myself mined for 2 years solo.. yes 2 years. without a single block to be found.

I now mine here at kano I have very low power only 2.5th online with a further 2.5 awaiting to come online next few days.

I know that cpu was no longer viable dew to demand on cpu and difficulty and no pools accept GPU or CPU anymore so technically they are obsolete in the BTC game..

Satoshi told us in his whitepaper that an attacker on the chain would find it more profitable to play by the rules..  But my understanding of this would be that would be find on one chain.. But we have two chains now so any attempt to "attack" bitcoin for personal gain would now benefit the attacker as they can mine a separate chain and still earn.

he also stated

We consider the scenario of an attacker trying to generate an alternate chain faster than the honest
chain.

"Block height. BCH is currently ahead by 8143 blocks."
https://fork.lol/blocks/height

The race between the honest chain and an attacker chain can be characterized as a Binomial
Random Walk.  The success event is the honest chain being extended by one block, increasing its
lead by +1, and the failure event is the attacker's chain being extended by one block, reducing the
gap by -1.
The probability of an attacker catching up from a given deficit is analogous to a Gambler's
Ruin problem.

The above statement is true if both chains are of the same specification.

But this did not take into factor a new chain with "emergency" DIFF adjustment being used to create a longer chain?

If I am mistaken correct me on this.

He also stated in the whitepaper
The probability drops exponentially as the number of blocks the
attacker has to catch up with increases.   With the odds against him, if he doesn't make a lucky
lunge forward early on, his chances become vanishingly small as he falls further behind.

Now... what better way to get a foothold than to pump the Bitcoin DIFF so while on the other hand having a much lower DIFF on 2nd chain and being ahead of BTC chain by a fair bit..

My calculations are the same. This pool needs to hit 8 blocks a month for the payout to be more. 1.1% is a big difference if you are making a fixed amount per month but that is not the case. I understand we look back at the history but what history doesn’t take into account is the amount of new hashing power that has come online and will continue to drive the difficulty to the moon. We need to promote the crap out of this pool and start now. It is the BEST pool here hands down but we are not going to win anymore miners here until WE step up and make it happen. When it becomes unaffordable for the larger miners to mine here, they will slowly leave too. It is more than just money to some but eventually everyone will have a breaking point for one reason or another. I love this pool and you guys are the best but we need to get off our asses and come up with a solution.

Its not about getting more miners to mine at this pool, what should be happening is you and everyone already on the pool should be buying more hardware to keep up with the difficulty, getting the rest of the pool bigger but staying the same yourself means you will just get smaller and smaller rewards.

Instead of spending time trying to get more miners, spend some money and get more hardware yourself. This isn't something new its something everyone has had to do since mining began.

If we all had the money to double our mining operations we wouldn’t be having this discussion. Essentially, since December, each and everyone one of us would have had to double their operation. I am out of power at my home. I can not add anything more. So while your statement in theory is the correct approach, real world application is not possible for some. I am currently setting up a mining facility to do just that and have 3 partners also included in the effort. Together we have purchased 100 additional S9s on the March batch. I understand what you are saying and I am in agreement and also actively doing something about it but that solution is not as easily implemented in the real world as it is on paper.

He is right its now arms race with hashrate. first the CPU/GPU miners were kicked from bitcoin to make way for the ASIC... Since asic arrived on the scene we have seen the DIFF explode.  It is not almost impossible for new miners to come into the space without massive investment.  It really is pushing the smaller miners out the game I mean come on 400+ days ROI for antminer s9?  I think there must be other miners being used higher than 14th but only being used by bitmain or others while they jump the chain diff higher and higher then sell off the lower models back to public when they "no longer need" or want them.

Bitcoin was supposed to be a fair system I though where everyone could be a part of it but now I see this vision is no longer bitcoin.
When you take away the chance for everyone to take part in the network you remove the fundamental of bitcoin DE-centrialisation.

As far as I can see I guess the DIFF "attacking"  Is for one thing only to push out the home miners from the equation leaving the path open to the larger company's who are steadily grasping more and more of bitcoin for themselves while pushing out the rest.

I fear in the future we will know the truth about the network and what is really going on with the DIFF but as far as I can see we are all being pushed out of the earning tree to make way for the few... To me that is distructive to bitcoin and we should not and cannot allow it to continue..  While some sit in silence knowing full well what is going on here but making out in public that there is nothing wrong..  Step back.. Think about this.. Is this really what we want bitcoin to become??

... stolen several accounts. See if any of you are there.
...
Wha dafuq are you on about?

What am I talking about? That such people are stopped. And those who are affected by it, remember it early.

I noticed that my miner software no longer displayed my BTC address.
What you are saying is that you foolishly ran mining hardware from those bitmain fucking morons that turns on open write access to the API for the entire world and someone just logged into it and changed your mining address. This has nothing to do with this pool though.

Oh so ok. Sorry. Then it was the wrong API settings.

Make sure API access is read only or you can update the firmware of the miner to one that is not the shady bitmain hack together job.
CK is correct it nothing to do with pool only your settings can allow this to happen.
20  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S3 will not hash on: February 19, 2018, 06:47:14 AM
You can try a full reset see if this resolves your issue.

Let the Antminer S3 powered up and running for about 3 minutes, then use a paper clip or something thin to press a button inside this hole on the "RIGHT" hand side of the Ethernet cable connector.  Press and Hold the Button for about 10 seconds, Then, wait for 3 minutes, then Press the Reset Button 1 more time and release .   wait for 3 minutes, then turn the power off and power it back on.

You can also try flash the files again but remove the checkbox "keep the settings" this will make sure there are no wrong setting saved in the antminer,.
