2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PZ Made Announcement for the Hardfork of Monero on: May 03, 2018, 09:58:10 AM
I just noticed this coin at the newly added coins on coinmarketcap. People are tired and fed up of all the Bitcoin forks now we have gone to Monero forking? First I saw Monero Original and now Monero Classic? All the features you mentioned as the reason of creating this fork has already been incorporated in most of the active 1584 existing and active coins in supply. There is no visible team backing the project, little or no information to be able to access the abilities and skill set of the development team. This one is big no for me. I don't see any viable reason why this coin should exist
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: April 27, 2018, 12:25:42 PM
the wallet does not synchronize ..

Would there be any nodes to add to the configuration file?

The wallet work well @home.  Huh

I can also sync but it takes ages. Is there a bootstrap file available?

with me it synced for 6 hours i think...

Have you read it? It is not a rebuttal - it's a joke.

the pdf months ago, near half  Smiley  maybe i will try to read it again...

but reading rethink your strategies also sounded like a huge joke to me.

All his investigation means nothing like there is no proof to any of his ideas, he could just fabricated all sound more real and beautiful. but after all - zeo proven facts...

except i dont know if its even true that they changed the whitepappire date ? whats the big problem with that ? whitepaper came from TOR, tor.....  and the rest all just fantasies with 0 proof. Just the way it sounded to me.....

all his investigation could be fairy tale  for the donations ?
many people will do it...
i am not good at story writing, but why not spend few months fabricting something  and get some donations in return to fud someone somewhere...

sorry i also have doubts to not get scamed like the peple giving you free ether... but as you see - world is just like this, the person who is scamming with ether, could be rethink-your-strategies...

zero proof to all this stories, his, mine, just sound like big talks to me..

and what makes this coine scam ? what not makes other coins scam ? this does not sound fair to me... but thats my opinion on the case. you have yours. and it will be good if someone from the top guys address this better because the same article is cloning every week...
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: April 19, 2018, 08:48:36 PM

There are other aspects of the coin that are highly dubious.

Yea that might be true, but I am more concerned about someone dipping their hands in my pocket. I am trying to run away from that. I looked at many coins and a lot of them have questions. For now I put in bytecoin what I can afford to loose. Instead of smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, do half take the other half and gamble. I would love the devs to stay anonymous, no one to squeeze.
One day it might be used to do commerce, who knows

I don't think you have to worry about malicious code. The worry from my part is that the evidently shady Bytecoin team can get hold of your money by some neat marketing/social engineering. We know they don't address the vast number of Bytecoin sockpuppets. They never properly addressed rethink-your-strategies long post either. That should tell you how unscrupulous they are.

I think you are wrong here
". They never properly addressed rethink-your-strategies long post either. "
i think you need to use google better and find more facts before post false accusations.
I am sure for a pdf where there contra all the  accusations you mentioned about.

i never saw a article about vegre how it get hacked few weeks ago.... and devs try to keep that quiet... those are clean real facts, devs knew about the vulnerability they had, but after all it happened they tried to shutup the person who tried to be honest and shopw what is going with verge... where are your facts ? and why verge is not big scam right now ? why no one says devs let hackers premine verge for a long time now, and just before they got their investor someone just went too abusive with the timestamp mine hack... this is sad  really

and even there is no single proof to your story, there is new team, even if they are trying to be anonymous i understand why, at least i can think of 10 reasons, and one of them is all the shit talk and pressure they get if they go public.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 09, 2018, 12:46:04 PM

Turning to the Antminer E3 -

Antminer E3 180mhs for 800watts = 1mhs per 4.44watts
RX Vega 64 43mhs for 134watts = 1mhs per 3.11watts.
RX 580 29.5mhs for 98watts = 1mhs per 3.33watts
RX 1060 24mhs for 90watts = 1mhs per 3.75watts

Antminer E3 180mhs for 800watts = 1mhs per 4.44watts - price 800$
6GPU RX 580 191MHs for 950W = 1 mhs per 5 W - price Huh 3500$

those calculations are not correct. First you calculate hashrate per GPU W  per GPU cards... its like comparing oranges and tomatoes no ?
you must calculate and compare the whole 12 card or 6 card rig to the beta Antminer E3.
where is F3 comparison ?

and my 2cents... If ethereum devs dont care for their miners, Miners should care for ethereum no more... Cry

Hi,
Quote
- Miner crashed and I cannot restart it until reboot.
Often when OpenCL fails, you have to reboot the system, not just restart miner. Sometimes even soft reboot won't work and you have to press Reset button. It is because the fail is at drivers level, Windows does not like such things and drivers too.

I avoid the hard reset(reset button) with this windows tool "NotMyFault", where you can purposely crash your system and reboot this way Smiley

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:14444 -pool2 eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444 -wal 0xxxxx.Rig01 -coin etc -ftimeout 150

The window pop up, stay a few sec, then nothing, my windows always crashing when i try to open this start.bat

try simpler command line: PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:14444 -wal 0xxxxx.Rig01 -nvidia
if you have issues opening a bat/txt file. try with notepad++ install and open with it.
it seems like more of windows issue.

Still have this issue, any help?

when asking for help be helpful... post your setup, your command line for starting the phoenix miner... without that only Nostradamus can help you Smiley
