2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A new only CPU mineable coin - Hacash (HAC) on: September 25, 2020, 03:13:27 AM
I decided to go a little deeper into the project and briefly understand the main goals of Hacash. The founder was and disappeared, but someone continues to support the project repository on github and the site. It is supposed to use Hacash by analogy with Bitcoin (as a means of payment), but I do not see any solutions to this issue. Hacash is not traded on cryptocurrency exchanges, there are no trading platforms that accept it as a means of payment. So far, only mining is working from the entire project. Who has any thoughts on this?
Someone uses a full node and mines diamonds?

I've mined full node, pool and diamond. What questions did you have in that regards?

In regards to your other question: You're absolutely right. It is a project with a "good idea" and functioning mining, but the UI for the solutions it promises are yet to be developed (channel chain settlement, tx privacy options, the BTC "Black Hole") as far as I can tell. Developing such tools is beyond my own knowledge so I can't really comment as to the state of the code for such tools.

Looks interesting, Im also looking in this thread a potential coin that are capable in cpu mining, I have my old xeon 12 core cpu server, Im asking the OP to post the ANN thread of the coin he was promoted here. Im looking for it,

I'm beginning to learn how to assemble a small CPU mining rig. I'm already mining this coin with a small VPS and my home computer, but was thinking of expanding a bit. If you wouldn't mind answering a couple questions about CPU mining rigs I'd really appreciate it:

1) Could I just buy something like this: https://ebay.us/Fdsgqe and be "good to go"? I fear that it will be loud and hot in my home office lol.

2) Would it be better too just buy cheap RAM, HDD, tower, power supply and then go big on a "new-ish" processor and motherboard like this https://ebay.us/OOCKIa ?

Are there any master node setup resources you guys might recommend? I've watched a few step-by-step videos on other coins and I feel semi-comfortable with what I have seen, but based on the videos I watched there's always a few directories or a few imports that are specific to the coin shown in the video.

Is there a better thread to direct this question towards? Thank you guys. You rock!

I see alot of Newbie accounts (just like me) worried about a delayed swap. This was the first time I trusted a dev for a swap. Everything worked out and he 100% delivered. I sent 300k CJ and it was swapped within a few days. Don't worry guys, you just have to be patient. I know its nerve-racking to have your bag in the hands of another person. I just wanted to share my positive experience to help re-assure you if you are frantically browsing this thread looking for some kind of answer.
