1  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC Casino | News | Special Offers for bitcointalk.org Users on: March 07, 2017, 08:40:34 PM
I was playing on das ist casino last night and they are refusing to process my withdrawal! I see they are in the #1 spot on your site and they should not be there! I use bitcoin so I don't have to provide personal information to unknown/untrusted sites but this one requires providing sensitive info! Had I known this, I never would have used them! This is the only bitcoin casino I have used that required ID and other personal information to withdraw bitcoin! I don't know what they are doing with it, but they basically told me it is not stored securely! Take this off your reccomended list and put a BIG BOLD WARNING next to them!
2  Economy / Gambling / DO NOT USE: Dasistcasino, the only btc casino requiring personal information! on: March 07, 2017, 08:33:11 PM
I use bitcoin so I don't have to share information like my home address and things like that, but this site is refusing to process my withdrawal (exact amount deposited) until I provide my drivers license and other documents. I feel like they are just mining for personal information, when I asked where my information would be stored, they didn't make me feel any more comfortable! It will be kept unencrypted on my profile for any unscrupulous staff to steal and right out in the open for any hackers that make the effort! The information isn't needed by their local government or anything, they just WANT the information for themselves with no reason for it! I feel my identity will be stolen or something if I give them what they want!

Avoid if you like your privacy! This feels like a data mining scam or something.
3  Economy / Goods / Re: Checking interest for Burning man 2014 ticket and vehicle pass on: May 28, 2014, 06:41:19 AM
I won't be able to make it this year but I did get a ticket and vehicle pass, I am not guaranteeing I will sell it here, but I would like to see what people would be willing to pay. I have a cash offer for 1,000$ but if I can get that or more in bitcoins I would be open to it. Keep in mind I do not have the ticket yet, ticket fulfillment by BMorg starts in about a month. I might have 2 available, I bought one ticket and vehicle pass for myself and one of both for a friend as well, I haven't heard from him so he may back out as well, if he does, I will have 2 tickets and vehicle passes. FYI, RV's require 2 vehicle passes
Hi,
where exactly the Burning man is happening?
What is the current cost of a ticket ? How much days is the hole thing?
BR

All the answers to your questions and more....

Thanks gsupp, all the answers are there. Tickets are no longer available through the event, scalpers are the only option. On stub hub, what I am offering is going as high as 2k USD$$$ I have heard of rumors of tickets going for over 10k, but I can't confirm or sleep at night if I took that much! I feel bad charging over face, but I kinda need the money. The event starts the last monday of august and they won't kick you out until a week or 2 after the event actually ends from what I hear... so you get 7 days of a real party and can stay for 10-20 days

5  Economy / Goods / Re: *WTS* Selling Casascius 10BTC Silver Round /w Gold B on: March 03, 2014, 07:17:23 AM
Is this just to see what people are willing to pay or is there a close of auction or a buy now price? I mean I'd throw out a bid but if you're just looking for an appraisal....
6  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Community Gives Back! on: January 29, 2014, 06:23:17 AM
very cool idea...can you please post any press released on this?

There have been requests for press on this from the local Fox News station here in Cleveland but I don't want to go to the press if we aren't going to be able to follow through. I think we need to get some momentum going before I go to the press and then look dumb for not being able to do it.

There could be some bag holders that won't see this thread but might see it on the news, I would let the media make the momentum!
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / SCAM survivalfood.com Do Not Buy!!! (UPDATE RESOLVED) on: December 11, 2013, 05:48:27 PM
This site took my order for 5.82 BTC and never sent it! Total scam, they stayed in communication for a little while but after about a month, it was clear my order wasn't coming and I had lost my money! Don't be scammed by these people, they are not here to do business, just to take your money and run!

UPDATE: The company ended up refunding me after finding one of my reviews. They refunded the full btc amount despite bitcoin increasing in value.
8  Economy / Auctions / One mint condition Casascius silver and gold 10 coin for auction! 20 BTC start on: December 06, 2013, 12:04:44 AM
I bought this coin direct from Mike Cadwell of casascius about a year ago and have sold a number of his other coins including 2 more of these that went for under 800$ a long time ago! I may have sold to a number of you on ebay, amazon, bitmit, even craigslist, I hated the idea of giving all my sensitive personal info to exchanges that could steal my identity, so I bought these and sold them on ebay and amazon to cash out in the beginning! This coin has never come out of the protective air-tite case it came in and is in mint condition, exactly the way I received it from the guy who made them! The display box was delivered to me with a crack, so the box is not perfect, but the coin itself is!!

starting price of 20 BTC 0.1 bid increments

Buy now price of 35 BTC

Auction closes on sunday December 8th at 11:59:59 PM (based on forum time stamp)

I will only accept bids in BTC denominations but will accept payment with the equivalent in LTC, NMC, PPC, FTC, or cash in person at my bank. Exchange rates will be at the time of the transaction (when I ship or hand you the coin) based on BTC-e rates for alts and bitstamp for cash.

US buyers will have the option for escrow (at buyers expense) and free shipping

International buyers will NOT have the escrow option and shipping will still be free but at your risk. Many countries have issues with international tracking and items being lost, I will not take any responsibility for out of country shipments being lost in transit.

Cash payments will require a non-refundable 10% deposit that will count towards the total cost. so if it goes for 30 BTC, you pay 3 btc worth of cash (or BTC) and weather BTC goes up or down after that doesn't matter, you will owe 27 BTC worth of USD to complete the purchase in cash.

I hope that clears up any confusion and covers all the points! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks

9  Other / Beginners & Help / new to the forums but not alts, when can I post in other categories? on: December 05, 2013, 10:03:56 PM
I have been invested in BTC for a while and now want to start moving some of the BTC to more traditional equity! When will I be able to post in other catagories? I have casascius coins for sale and am looking to buy a house in Oregon for bitcoin, but setting these things up will not be easy if I'm stuck in the noob section! When will I no longer be considered a "newbie" on here?

I am looking to buy a house in Oregon with bitcoins, hopefully BTC has gained enough interest to make this happen!
