1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: December 11, 2018, 07:44:11 PM

Have you withdrawn your reward or it is still on the balance ? It must be hard not to play few round in Multiply BTC  Grin

Well, I decided that while waiting for BTC price to go up I keep everything on site balance - after all it generates some commission everyday, so why not.
I have some plans, that I am saving money for and that will be significant help Smiley I am rather not in to multiply game, however maybe I'll make a small bet one day.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To Many SCAM! on: August 20, 2017, 05:16:09 PM
Paying bag of coins to some random guys from internet, just for promises - how this could end well in most cases?
Greed is a fuel for scammers.
Here is my "favorite" scam: Stackcoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=457575.msg5302833#msg5302833
At least something funny Wink
4  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: August 20, 2017, 05:06:20 PM
To be precise, two things need to be separated:
1. Investing BTC (mining, trade, lending etc.)
2. Earning BTC (jobs, signature campaigns, faucets Wink )

As mining requires several conditions to be met (electricity costs, space for gear, access to affordable priced hardware...) I'd say - trade. Far more better than gambling, requires some mindset, seems to be a bit easier than in any capital markets.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The flippening is coming fast. The real bitcoin is catching up quick. on: August 19, 2017, 03:09:42 PM

Bitcoin (BCH) will be $4000 soon.  Low fees, fast confirmation.  It is the real bitcoin.

Like in case of many other alts in past, hype based on technical superiority (comapred to BTC) is not enough. We've seen many coins with fatser, cheaper, more anonymous transactions, advanced and fancy wallets etc. In fact, almost any altcoin has such advantages. And? BTC is #1 since 2009 while hundreds of coins ended as trash after final pump&dump.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: August 19, 2017, 10:53:01 AM
I assume, that most of users here thinks about become rich with BTC. You have to realise, that any profit you make e.g. on market is someone's else loss. It's some kind of hard competition, where pool of prizes is limited.
And if, literally, anyone would be rich? Then noone would be.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: August 19, 2017, 10:28:38 AM
My strategy is very simple. Usually, I buy some coin in ICO times or when coin price is so low. Then I hold it for Pumping high. When token price pumped then I sell my coin. And also I make a buy order in low price again. Thant's it.

I would be aware of few things:
1. Scam (my favorite one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=457575.0)
2. Low market volume, risk that I'd be left with useless bag of coins if miss the timing
3. Coin not being listed on any exchange - it's definitely harder to sell such coins here, on bitcointalk

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only? on: August 15, 2017, 04:16:38 PM
If you want to own xx BTC - yes, you need to be rich nowadays, like to have some significant amount of gold Wink However BTC is still divisible by 100000000 to handle even micro transactions, therefore it's for everyone - it's only the matter of scale.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: August 15, 2017, 04:11:52 PM
Using Credit/Debit cards and ATM also requires established connection. I remember, that sometimes guy in the store had problems with GPRS connection and I had to wait few minutes to confirm my payment.
What is the most significant advantage of cash to me? It's truly anonymous (except CCTV and any other means of surveilance), no link between you and payment exists.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 15, 2017, 04:06:35 PM
People have asked that question during any significant rise of BTC price, especially when it became record-breaking. Where it would stop? No one (or almost no one Wink) knows. We can be sure about one thing - do not buy when it's rising. After each peak there is some correction.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason that keeps me from investing in bitcoin on: August 13, 2017, 05:35:10 PM
I would not say, that wide adoption of BTC equals fine opportunity to invest in BTC. As Bitcoin is more about speculation, than mean of payment it creates many chances to invest and profit in relative short time. In 2-3 years you can easily make some decent profit, but some patience is required. Fee argument is valid when considering Bitcoin adoption, but in terms of investments - I am not sure.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: i have 1.3 btc and i am confuse that invest in B8Ball ico or hold more . on: August 13, 2017, 05:16:26 PM
Are you kidding? 1,3 BTC is lot of money nowadays and it's still gaining more and more value. Set target amount that you would like to get from selling BTC and simply wait.
Even if it would loose few % it's still far less risque than paying some random guys for promisses of profits IMO.

14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Bitcoin Price Will Be Stable - 2700 USD, So No Rush To Sale on: June 15, 2017, 03:29:17 PM
The price haven't got sustained around $2700, it has been falling gradually. Now this has exceeded to fall beyond what people expected, because everyone was speculating about reaching $3000, at the same the price has gone down to be less than $2500. Hope the next price pumping happens in a short.

Yeah, unexpected move of bitcoin price, while many people think it will be stable or it will increase, we find it falling more than $400 ~$12xx before rising ~+70$ again. Hope to see the price soon around / +$2700 again
Yeah I was kinda surprised to see such a steep drop right when I was expecting that the price had become stable-ish, but we can never really say that BTC's price is stable, can we? Right now the worst case scenario would be price going below $2000, I don't hope for that to happen.

It never happened for BTC price to stabilize after bubble being pumped (because it's pretty obvious it's a bubble). Current situation is the same cycle that repeats since 2012. The only one alternative scenario I can think of, is continuous rise, however crash is inevitable when Bitcoin is overpriced.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did you decline bitcoin today? please tell me. on: June 15, 2017, 03:06:20 PM
If price had risen rapidly by 300%, why can't it go back to it's former position? That could be discussed, if BTC would crash after long phase of stable growth. Now, situation is the same as several times in the past - nothing extraordinary. Time to buy is coming  Grin
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Goldpayfinance is f**cking scam, DONT WASTE UR MONEY on: June 15, 2017, 01:04:56 PM
It looks like joke at first sight. How anyone could even think of 10000% ROI in one month?  Cheesy On the other hand, people are greedy and it doesn't require any special effort to scam masses nowadays  Roll Eyes
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for Bitcoin price fall on: June 15, 2017, 12:38:26 PM
Peak of the current bubble is over Smiley It's third time we can see that pattern. 300% rise in two months? Definitelly doesn't look like stable growth. I am in the fiat now, waiting to re-buy 50-100% more coins.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: June 11, 2017, 06:10:44 PM
I am posting this on the day bitcoin almost near like 10 or 20$ to achieve 3000$ it's just only after 12 days of your post achieved almost 1000$ increment. If this trend goes soon we reach 10,000$. So hold it

IMO that trend is too rapid to carry BTC to 10.000$. I guess it would end around 3200-3500$. Look at chart posted by TryNinja - it's exactly what I was thinking about today when looking at historical BTC prices.
I do not think it would fall below 1500, but 1800-1900 is quite probable in perspective of month or two.
edit: I would say SELL instead of HODL Wink
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 11, 2017, 05:48:21 PM
Usually I choose to pay small fee, unless it's something urgent. Once I waited over week, but all transactions have been confirmed so far Smiley One interesting thing is, that withdraws from one of the dice services are almost instant (confirmed within 15 minuites) and they have fixed fee = 0,0003 BTC (30k sat).

Most of the times I use to convert bitcoin to some altcoin like doge or ltc or eth which usually takes lower fee and also takes less time to get confirmation. There are many exchanges as well as gambling sites available which support alot of altcoins.

Yeah thats cool feature - already seen on some websites, but usually there is some minimum required amount of coins for processing such conversion. If it would work without that limitation and with low conversion fee, that would be great Smiley
