Bitmain is not just selling the asic miners for the non asic resistant coins they are also mining at the same time the non asic resistant coin with the hardware much more stronger then what they are selling at the market, these way they profit from the coin twice by mining it and by selling hardware to people who want to buy it. By doing so they can manipulate the prices of the coin itself by adding their super powerfoul hardware to mine coin whenever there is a price jump of the coin and they can manipulate the prices of their hardware , they will keep the stronger hardware to themselfs and they will release weaker hardware to masses, and that way they will always be able to release new stronger asics for the specified coin and making the older asics ussles, and people will have to buy the new stronger asic miners or fall behind. These all cant be done with gpu-s mining. In gpu mining new more powerfoul hardware is coming slowly and they cant replace your weaker gpu that easily. That is if gpu-s ever become profiteable again.

Bistamp nemogu koristiti jer mi verifikacija traje preko 1 mjesec .

So any idea what might happen first ethereum going anti asic or ethereum going pos.
because shitmain is mining eth behind closed doors with asics for months now....with much powerfull ones than that shit they offered to sell now... you can buy the good asics as soon vitalik announces eth pos date they just selling now this shit miner because of the videos of f3 miner @mining...so people may think they just have this shitty asics(if its even an asic)....maybe they hope secretly vitalik will dont push pos so fast
just remember monero -> announced fork -> oh what a fucking miracle we can sell you asics with which we fucked your earnings the past months. regards shitmain aka bitmain
Thats what i am suspecting aswell but cant confirm it. Its crappy thingy even if monero goes with new fork the bitman can just bypassit with new firmware update =_=. Lets see what will happen.

In the last 4 months ethereum dificulity has rised in double and am wondering why did that happened , if the difficulity continues to rise like these it wouldnt be profiteable to mine it anymore. Mining profits have been reduced by the drop of ethereum price, but also from the increased dificulity in the last 4 months and we still see a rise of difficulity.

So i am trying to instal the second gpu on my desktop computer but i am having difficulities as my computer wont recognise the second gpu but the second gpu fan is spinning and on my riser 2 led ligts are glowing blue and red what does that means.

I didnt quite understand him on that youtube video was he only speaking about core voltage undervolting or he was speaking aswell for the power limit of the GPUs.
So i have GPU R9 390 and am using it to mine ETH+SmartCash but the GPU is using to much power and it heats quite a bit, so am asking is it safe to limit gpu power limit in afterburner by say 20% ?? I have already undervolted core voltage in afterburner by 0.1V .

I am in a serious doubt and cant make a decision betwen these GPUs RX 580 , Vega 64 , 1080TI . Has anyone got expiriance with all 3 GPUs or atleast with 2 of them which is the one that gives most hashrate and the lowest power consumption. I am interested in RX 580 Hash rate for dual mining similar like ETH+SmartCash and its power consumption , the same thing for vega 64 ETH+SmartCash hashrate and power consumption, for Nvidia 1080TI whats its equihash power consumption and can you dual mine something like Zcash(ZEC)/Equihash+(any other algoritm/coin) similar like ETH dual mining works but insted with Equihash algoritm, or is it just better to mine shitcoins with 1080TI and get huge profits.
Those are some great numbers and as it looks RX Vega 64 beats the RX 580 but if you reduce core clock what about dual mining then for lets say ETH+SmartCash will the hashrate for the second coin SmartCash drop then ?

Okay thanks guys for answering question about amd RX 580 power ussage but now what am wondering is since the BTC/Altcoin value is so low and question of electricity has erupted are you guys doing bios mods for timings and power consumption on RX vega 64 and 1080TI , how much wattage would consume RX vega 64 on for instance ETH+Decred dual mining after bios modding and how much power consumption would consume 1080TI on equihash algoritm. Cus am looking to get new cards but am in doubt which one to get.
NVIDIA Bios is locked. Although there might be other techniques to get them modded by Pros. modded RX Vega Bios will be rejected by card (signing issues). Basically, you can't BIOS mod these cards easily as you could have with Ellesmere/Polaris. K thx for answer what a complicated issue, okay so i hear that mining on RX Vega 64 just mining ETH will cost 220W per card but i dont know how much will it cost for dual mining for instance ETH+Decred and aswel how much consumption is 1080TI using per mining equihash. You can see consumption of electricity in $ on whattomine but as i see it the price is more expensive when dealing with a real thing.

When you are doing GPU bios modding what am wondering how much can you underwolt GPUs for better power consumption for instance on MSI RX 580 Armor 8GB in pro performance timings for an example dual mining ETH and Decred , usualy GPU will consume about 150W how much after you mod the bios will the consumption be.

WTF are you guys talking about? Duel mining is still alive, because I'm duel mining eth & verg right now. You wont make alot of money anymore but with Claymores 11.4 or 11.5 eth miner allows you to duel mine Verge or Smartcash. Do some reading boys.
Is verge coin anti asic resistant ?? Or there are no released asics atm that mine its algoritm.
How do you mean it died long time ago , actualy am new to mining just wanted to dual mine but everything is going asic on RX 580s , its no longer worth to get the RX 580s att all.
Since these new ASICs are coming with all the algoritms that are used in GPU ETH dual mining and these coins are not going anti asic looks like the end of dual mining.
I am in doubt which of these RX 580 GPUs should i buy that gives the most hashrate for ETH and or ETH dual mining with decred, or it doesent matter which RX 580 GPU i will take they all have very similar hashrate (30-32) with Pro Performance Settings ?? MSI Radeon RX 580 Armor 8G OC , ASUS Dual Radeon RX 580 OC , POWERCOLOR Radeon RX 580 Red Dragon V2 , XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS Black Edition , XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition , GIGABYTE Aorus Radeon RX 580 8G , ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 580 TOP , ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 580 OC , all gpus are 8GB memory.
Does your modded bios for RX 580 GPUs come with only changed Timings or you have done aswell undervolt and OC-ed on the bios? Because i prefer to undervolt and OC the cards myself on afterburner??

Can someone explain is it possible and safe to power 2 risers with 6pin on one cable, cable would be connected to 6pin psu on one end and on another end forks into 2x 6 pins, or maybe you can connect 3 risers with one cable that forks into 3x 6pin? Is it better to use 6pin risers then molex or sata.
No problem to do that : you have to use a X2 6 pins adapteur. But be carreful to not oversize your connectors/cables/PSU. Then, a x3 6 pins adapteur is a bad idea and probably not safe at all... how much is oversizing am thinking to put 6 rx 580 gpus on one 1200w psu
