what PSU are you using? try running the card under different rails even with a good PSU. compared the core clock for your GPU running in both rooms. You might not be thermal throttled but sound like the GPU driver is deciding your PSU can't supply stable power when in use outside your bedroom and lowered the core clock and caused hashrate drop.

I had similar experience with identical GPUs in a rig but one just decided to run 200 MHz lower on it's cclock (obviously, same OC settings) until I ditched the PSU's PCIe rail for an alternative rail via molex to PCIe connectors, basically just spread the load, even with a decent PSU that has enough power (wattage) rating.

Good idea, mine is a TX 750W its quite dated but should handle sli, i will try to switch up psu

Are the two rooms on the same circuit?  If not, is the ampere rating different?

Yes, they are on the same circuit

By what the miner says, the pools graphs also indicate the same decline, only difference i have in my room is that i plug in two monitors, but that should not make a difference and if it did it would degrade the performance, not improve it

Thank you for moving the topic

This has been bugging my mind a lot, am not usually one to seek for help but i ran out of ideas.
Currently am mining zcash with a 1080 gtx using  EWBF's Zcash CUDA miner. 0.3.4b.
Problem is when the computer is in my bedroom it mines 600-620 sol/s, but when i go to sleep i move the computer to another room and the speed drops to 520-540 sol/s for no apparent reason,
the OC is the same,
internet cable are the same cat6e connected to the same switch,
same energy cable,
gpu-z clocks are stable
reinstalled drivers (390.77)
settings are max performance on nvidia same on power plan on windows 10
I even tried using onboard gpu to display to monitor, same effect

Temps while i am in my room never surpass 62ºC, while on the another room they don't even surpass 55ºC

Any suggestion?
