1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ZERGPOOL.com - BACK!Multialgo, autoexchange, 0.5% fee, 180+ coins on: January 20, 2019, 02:47:40 AM
Glad to see Zerg back. I wont be returning though. Have been watching the results and so far it has not been impressive... funny to watch... but not impressive.

A couple days ago Numus (dedal) was enabled and giving insane returns... to magically be turned off (with no explanation) after many hours of being off the rails.

Today XChange (x16r) is running wild with a 'expected' return of 236.85397 mbtc per MHs... and '0' time to find. Been doing it for hours now... and still enabled for autotrade. Rofl. Talk about skewing your 'averages' badly.

Maybe in time it will get better. Until then my hashing power will be staying elsewhere.

Good luck though PinPin hope you figure it all out!

Multiple A B testings over a week period (per test). Same pool. Same number of same video cards. Always slightly lower results. Like clockwork. Did on blazepool. Did it on Zerg. Did it on Zpool. After three for three... I gave up on magic.

Blaze + Zpool. Std option. ActiveMinerGain% set to 10 percent, 900 second interval.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: October 22, 2018, 08:27:00 PM
Simple fix. 1) dont use the magic and fairy farts 'plus' options 2) dont use ahashpool. Plus option is based on faulty logic... that past performance is indicative of future gains. UNLESS you have a mining farm if you go against the pool's flow you will loose (ie your hashing power on XYZ will not overcome everyone else on a dif alog. this happens all the time on plus option. everyone else moves to a dif alog and you are almost solely mining for awhile)... and Ahashpool... well... it blows. Too small a pool with too few coins.

So anyone find a good alternative pool yet?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: October 15, 2018, 12:42:06 AM
I usually ran blaze with zerg as a backup (usually w/ a .90 in poolconfig json file). With zerg MIA the question becomes: blaze vs nlpool vs blockmasters? Which would you use for your rigs? Dont like zpool. Nothing against them persay... just their stats are always WAY off what they claim them to be. Last time I tried zpool had to set .83 to get remotely close to realistic stats.

NP.

Boat would be the one to add to HMQ alog right now though. Near to same levels of profit as Raven without x16r headaches.

PGN landed on exvo exchange. Nearly there on CB exchange.

To actually attract more people blaze NEEDS to be very aggressive with new coins. Do what zerg and zpool does... but better. Config new coins and alogs BEFORE they hit so the moment they do land on an exchange you flip the switch. Its the early rush and 'moon fever' that you need to get in on. Zerg did it with X16R and made it a decent pool for awhile. Do the same but better - as you guys actually ARE a good pool. "Build it and they will come".

Yes, i seen that. My rig was mining LUX, but later it just dissappeared from PHI pool stats. I was like...once more, same story, time wasted.

Maybe the universe via pinpin is telling you something... and its time to leave this pool until pinpin figures his shit out. Right now blazepool has been paying BETTER than zerg on x16r for the past couple days. Its what I did. Wink

Actually, checked more. Fork protection triggered as expected after some time, issue was also that miners were using 24h estimates, which look back for average prices in last 24h, and of course were higher than mining remaining shield coin in x17

ROFL. What a load of bullshit. Anyone on x17 alog saw nearly SIX FUCKING HOURS of mining disappear. Hell I saw TWELVE hours disappear. If that is your idea of fork protection you are insane. That was a manual disabling by you AFTER you fucked up and used the wrong wallet.

At least admit you screwed up and state how you will fix it so it a multi-hour event doesnt happen again. Other pools figured out how to do it so if you cant... ask. Im sure a legit pool operator would help your half assed pool out. Though if you cant even get a simple wallet config right I doubt anyone can help.

He actually takes more than .5percent. In my testing it is more like 10percent, which is about the same as all the others. The difference is pinpin is a scumbag about it and hides it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ZERGPOOL.com - NEW!Multialgo, autoexchange, 0% fee, 180+ coins on: April 05, 2018, 04:49:40 AM
...And people who support zerg wonder why it has such a shit reputation. pinpin re-enabled xvg too quickly and did not monitor it. They didnt even enable fork protection!  Will zerg take the hit for their mistake? Nope, pinpin will expect the miners to eat the loss.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: March 18, 2018, 04:52:28 PM
How do I specify to use different miners? Neoscrypt for example defaults to KlausT, but Excavator gives 30% better performance. Same with RavenEnemy vs Raven225 build here

It is possible to add new miners, it's just a bit tricky the first time around.

If you go to the Miners folder you'll see all the currents miners listed, to add RavenEnemy which I think it's ccminer, I'd copy and rename an existing ccminer*.ps1 file, then edit the files to do the necessary changes to make it run your new miner.  In the case of Excavator it's a lot trickier, I'd recommend copy the excavatorNvidianeo.ps1 from SniffDogMiner and edit it to make the changes you need.

Quick question, where do you download RavenEnemy from?

Be careful with enenmy-mine. It MAY show higher hashrates in its screen (and thus nemos will record it as higher)... but what is recorded by zerg is always lower than Raven miner. Enemymine is a closed source app and is IMHO sketchy as shite.

I think that is indeed a fair complaint. Pinpin has done little to reclaim lost ground... and does not answer legit complaints fast enough (though few are legit and rather most are n00bs being n00bs).

For the past hour or so US stratum has been down. Zip from pinpin. Is it because of a server upgrade? Who knows. This type of thing has to be handled ASAP for zerg to grow... or it will die. I have moved over to blaze until it IS fixed and users are told what happened, why it happened, and how it will not happen again.

Or it simply could be that you are a n00b moron not picking your alogs properly. Some pools are better for certain alogs than others. Pick wisely and change them based on the 24avg. Do that and zerg beats blaze and AHP routinely... or actually don't. Let the smart miners get the higher percent while you whine like a little bitch.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: March 08, 2018, 05:55:33 PM
So who is using the 'plus' pool option? Any input on if it works better greatly appreciated. Right now Im using the ahashpool 24hour pool option. I know its more risky but it seems to work better than the 'normal' pool options. BUT if the 'plus' pool option is better would love to know!

Plus makes more than 24hr generaly
Have a look there: https://github.com/MrPlusGH/NPlusMiner/releases
Give it a go and let us know.

Shit that GUI is noice! I assume when alogs are added or removed that it does not have to be restarted? If it does... please mod it so we dont have to reboot the app. Also just dl'ed the master which 2.01 but the GUI says its 2.0 and that a 'newer' version is available.

Just one (other) comment/request. PLEASE don't go down the MPM route and have the miner window hidden by default. Its a quick fix - via your readme- but not having to 'fix' it in the first place would be even better!

Are you thinking about adding X16R alog?... and maybe more data besides 24hr actual (eg current estimate, 24hr estimate... and MOST IMPORTANTLY how many of a coin found in the last hour/day/week?). I say that as every time I have tried blaze - and I really want to like your pool.. I really do - your 24avg is fairy dust farts.

In my limited personal experience zerg is a disaster. Right now AHP and blaze are about the two 'best'. Blaze has crap coin logic though (eg never use Neoscrypt it has funky random results)... and rather odd bouts of 'bad pool luck'. Plus the 24hr avgs listed never line up with API calls (as seen in nemosminer). AHP is a safer bet... but blaze 'usually' pays a bit better. IF blaze ever gets its shit together I would go back. Right now though it is awfully risky with highs and lows from day to day. Not zerg bad but... .003 to .002 pay outs day to day... vs AHPs .0024 avg on MY rig.

Please add Equihash and ETHash... and maybe some more coins for the alogs... and maybe FIX the FIVE alogs that have been borked for the past couple days (phi, tribus, hsr, timetravel, bitcore - all show "--" for 24avg)? Zero transparency makes me want to keep staying away from this pool... but Equihash would make me want to try it again.
