1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Backslash - the easiest way to send and receive Bitcoin on: September 13, 2015, 07:45:21 AM
Sorry for the delay in posting!

We recently rolled out a manual cashout system. If you login to Backslash, you'll be able to submit a Bitcoin address which we'll use to send you your remaining balances.

We're in the process of consolidating and auditing our user's balances, and we'll issue the payouts shortly.

Thanks for being patient.

Haha, glad you are all excited about this. We're making some changes to the site right now, but I'll be scheduling some more tests around Feb 15th.

Update Jan 14th

All of the interview slots for this week's session have been filled up. You can still fill in the form to get on the list, but I won't be selecting any new participants until a few weeks from now. Thanks to everyone that participated so far!

That's alright for me, I was just about to ask if their were other interview slots since I am unavailable for most slots this week (had a different appointment with my university) and the other slots were unreasonable with my timezone. Cheesy I believe my schedule will be more lenient come February. I'll check up on this when that time comes. Smiley

Great, I look forward to talking to you next month! I'll make sure to update this thread when the time comes so you know when to expect an email from me Smiley

Is there any chance for increasing the amount considering the low values of bitcoin?

Good call. Just increased it by 50%.

Also, I've given bonuses to users that are easy to work with and that provide great feedback.
You know where's to send my bonus, right? Ha ha ha
Good luck with your project Smiley

Of course Smiley

Thanks for accepting my offer and I think also others must consider a bonus for me because of my offer :p, hopefully I will join this by tomorrow.

Lol. You're going to have to talk to the other participants on your own to convince them of that.

Just sent out another round of emails. If you've been selected, you should have received an email by now.

It's surprising how many people don't schedule an interview after getting selected. Is anyone having issues scheduling their interview?

Got mine. Grin My microphone/headphone is damaged. I can send the proof too. So is it possible skip the 2nd step? I have no problem in sharing the screen. Thanks! Smiley

   ~~MZ~~

We might be able to do it over chat, so let's give it a shot anyway. It would be ideal if you could fix your microphone or find another headset though Smiley

sign up, next step?

Wait for my email. If you're selected for an interview, I'll send you an email with instructions for how to schedule one.  Grin

News ? I've compiled the forum but I didn't received any email. Maybe I've not been chosen , let me know . Thanks for the attention.

Just sent you a PM!

Is this offer still open? Cheesy I filled up the form. Now just waiting for the email. Smiley

Yes, the offer is still open! I just sent out another round of emails 15 minutes ago.

Unfortunately I don't have team viewer. Have you ever used Google Hangout before? It's free and works pretty well. It's also very easy to get it set up.

Teamviewer for monitoring my screen, that's what I meant.

Yes, I have used hangouts.

   ~~MZ~~

Perfect! Google Hangouts also lets you share your screen, and you can even restrict it to a specific window.

Awesome, thanks! I'll send out another batch of emails in about 6h.

6 hours seem fine for my sleep. Wink Is it possible to do with Teamviewer? Little hard for me to download another software but I can try if no other choice is there. Smiley

Please do not use this link directly, you need to fill in the google form first. If you sign up on use powwow.com without having been selected, I will not interview you.

Thanks!

Bump! Looking for a couple more Smiley

all done

Thanks!

im done filling up the form, so what is the next step?  Grin

Thanks! I just selected a few more applications and sent all of the emails.  Grin

I have received your email and followed your link.
What's next ?

Scroll down a bit, and you'll be able to book an interview slot. Let me know if you have any more issues!

For the second part, I’ll ask you to share your screen with me so that I can watch you try our website.

[1]Why screesharing? We could videocapture a session of us navigating your site and doing the tasks you require and sending/sharing/posting that video somewhere.

[2]What about this other option?

[3]Did you already pay someone? Tx-ID?
1. The point of the second part of the test is to see how easy to use our website it. I want to watch people sign up and try using it to make sure that we handle their behavior properly. I want to know if they try to click on something and nothing happens, or if they don't know what the next step is. It might be possible to figure these things out in other ways, but this method is simple and known to be effective.

2. I want to be able to ask the participant questions as he/she is trying out the site, not once they are done. For example, if they try to click on something that isn't a link, I'd like to immediately ask questions such as why did you click here, what did you expect it to do, etc...

3. Not yet, but I have 4 interviews scheduled for tomorrow morning (around 9 am PST). I plan to send each participant the BTC as they are doing the interview.

Not that I'm signing up, but I'm just wondering, can he do ftp over teamviewer without the users knowledge? It might explain why he's only interest is in how much btc you have.

I won't be using team viewer, I'll be using http://cliqmeet.com/ As far as I know, Cliqmeet does not support FTP, and requires the user's permission to share screens.

I don't understand why we have to share our screen with you, lol.
If you want to check out that the ones trying it are really on your site ask a related-question but don't compromise their privacy. That's my opinion  Wink

In terms of privacy, it's possible to only share a single window. So if you are worried about me seeing your whole desktop, you could just share an incognito window in Chrome / Firefox.
