I stood up a 4x R9 280 rig yesterday.  Took about $1900 in parts and a couple hours work but I admit I have a pretty decent knowledge of PC building.  Without any real tweaks I'm hashing away at ~2800.  So less than $1 a hash.  You guys are asking basically double that plus the hosting and management fees and it's not coming online for a few weeks as the LTC difficulty really begins to soar over the next couple months.  I think that you will struggle to ROI on this.  Yes the hardware resale might ultimately push it into profitability but that's going to be a long road.  I am not saying they won't do a great job with managing this as they do a great job with all their GBs but it just might not make financial sense.

May I ask where did you purchased your R9 280x from? And what is your ROI estimate on this system?

Thanks

I'm not sure what the best way of doing this. I hope the buyer would explain his concerns and we can work them out. Yes, it's currently hosted in Sweden and includes 6 months free hosting by KNC. I suppose it should be possible to pick it up directly from KNC in Sweden. But, I'm in Chicago, so I'd need to get paid first, i.e., probably with escrow. It may also be possible to have KNC ship it directly to the customer. Again, buyers - work with me.  If someone could meet me face-to-face in Chicago or New York (Dec 13-22nd), I would prefer that, but that seems unlikely to happen.

What if the buyer wants to keep hosting? 6 months are already included and paid for! I think this would be easiest, just transfer mining credentials over, and have KNC confirm owner transfer. How do we go about it? Anyone has experience dealing with a hosted device? I'd prefer not having to deal with shipping, and waiting for arrival, or pick up. With proper escrow, we should be able to close this today, just transfer mining credentials over, see it hashing, etc. Wait a week for KNC to confirm ownership, etc..., then escrow releases funds to me.

Does anyone have an offer of 17 BTC or higher?

EDIT: I contacted KNC to see how difficult it would be to transfer hosted device ownership to another person. Will update when they respond.

How this one work out? Could you please explain more

I read all the numbers and I said I have to try to get my leftover btc rig mining ltc.  so after 34-40 hours of trying to make it work.  I am pulling 650khs with a hd7970 rig can add a second card  I HAVE A HD7790 I will pop it in and get the rig to 1k.  Now that it is cold in New Jersey running a pc pulling 300-450 watts helps to warm the house.  If it was not for this thread I never would have got the rig to run ltc. My Thanks  to dZcoop.   Making money for me in all kinds of ways.  next i need to figure the lit coin block chain wallet out as it is a bit different then the btc chain.   I am earning about .3 ltc a day with 650  kh running.

Good to hear that you doing well. I may build my own system to play with

If you have a BFL Jalapeno, it's pretty easy to add another chip or two to the unit without the need for extra hardware and it nearly quadruple's the devices output. I bought some and that's exactly what I plan to do with them.

Thank you very much
12  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN]R17x: Black Arrow Prospero X-3 <DZMC Exclusive> $130 / 40GHS on: December 11, 2013, 11:23:21 PM
I'm getting tired of saying this....

On check out the website tells you how much to pay if you don't pay what is listed on that page the site will not begin to process your order, there is no transaction fee included in that price if you choose to send a transaction fee (which speeds up confirmations to get your order in within the time frame the site gives) it is in addition to the price the site charges (transaction fees go to the  miners not to the receiver)

Is this respond to my post?Huh??

Thomas

By using the cal that you provided

160KH/s earn 0.06 LTC per day or 1.7 LTC per month.

With current exchange rate 1.7 LTC ~ to $50

Is that right?

Thanks

Hello Yankee,

I have bought 1 BTC back in Jun. Today I try to login to my account but your website is currently down. I have Google this issue and look like your website is shutdown.

How can I get my balance?

What is the phone number for customer service?
Who else in this forums from BitInstant so I can PM them for help?

Thank you
