US Treasury is starting to admit that it’s been hacked by foreign entities. This is the same organization who’s pushing to establish oversight and regulation of cryptocurrency exchanges, identifying buyers and sellers.
That just gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling all over, doesn’t it!
We may witness some major changes in our economy's structure in next couple years. That'd be absolutely great |

I believe deep inside them, those people behind the Central Banks, they know that "the cat is out of the bag". Billions and billions of the paper money they print will shift into sound money, Bitcoin.
In a sense its just a marketing plan. Not every cbdc is going to do the same thing, I believe. Being in cointact with users/customers is a good idea for such a big project |

yes,The main problem is often beginners choose shitcoins without knowing anything & it's because they want to make quick profits, that's the reason they experience losses. Buying top altcoins will be a good choice to minimize the risk of investment losses.
Thats called gambling, not investment. And with experience comes knowledge - its not a good way to approach crypto, that knowledge comes with a price too. |

I do think some people over fixate on Warren buffets strategy. His current one has moved away from wealth creation to maintaining the value he has built up from. His strategy and ultimately to keep the insurance company's reserves high.
That is one of the reasons why Buffet's strategy won't work out for a regular person. Another one is - you don't need to invest in something with extreme growth rate to gain decent profit, simply because of your wealth you already have. Moreover, sometimes you don't even need the profits when you have enough investments so you can live off of dividends solely. |

Just an advice from me to you, do not invest in new YFI copycats popping up on daily basis due to the huge success of YFI. We all saw the surge with YFI price currently above 22,000$ which surpasses BTC price right now. This is causing a lot of FOMO and scammers are taking advantage to launch their own scam coins (YFI copycats). Examples are YFIE, YFIS which launched even without website or team information, yet people still FOMO to buy. Be careful please, just a peaceful advise.
I guess its fair to claim - it would be hard to find anyone at this forum who could invest in YFI copycats because of fomo. I mean I've considered a possibility to invest in YFI, but its not worth it anymore - the growth has happened, I can't hop on train that already left. |

Trezor And many others If you search more on search engine like Google, there are many phishing sites imitating those apps listed above, so I would advise you go through their respective website and download them from there, never search from play store for its a risky act to avoid been scammed. Also keep your private key in a safe place either offline or online cause that the prospective measure of wallets security and privacy policy. So, the question was how to make multicurrency paper wallet and how those you've listed are related to the question? I mean you can generate a wallet there, export the seed phrase and/or private key and delete the wallet in an app. But is it the only available method? As far as I know one can make only a one currency paper wallet |

After reading the topic, I made the following conclusions. We shouldn't send fake documents, as we are breaking the law in this way. But the KYC check itself is also illegal, as it violates the basic principle of the crypto space - anonymity. But as a result, both things still happen.
Perhaps, the golden middle would be - if you're personally against giving out your personal info then find an anonymous service. This way you won't break the law, and crypto services are not legal anyway no matter which one you'll use. |

Some millionaire move there wealth not because of the countries they are in will steal it but because they stole the money and are looking for countries to hide it away in, large millions if not billions leaves African countries to other countries from corrupt leaders/politicians and are hidden off.
I hope bitcoin does not become like an -option/alternative- for these likes.
I think those who you are referring to are real people and part of those millionaires who moves from country to country, but I sincerely believe that mostly those are honest people who did a great job and not trying to hide anything from anyone. Bitcoin will always remain as an alternative option for people who still as a place to hide money in, but thats inevitable, its just how decentralized money works and thats part of the game. |

So true! I always believe that there' s always good in every bad situation, and that positive things were already mentioned. Though it made me sad to realize that aside from the quick transmission of Virus all over the world, domestic violence also arises. Most people are suffering from anxiety and depression thinking what would happened next and how long will it takes for us to just stay at home. But, somehow I know that all this world's craziness will be over soon. We will get back into place with God's perfect timing.
I hope more people will catch up with mentality like yours, because only this could help everyone work together to get out of this situation. I'm partly thankful to this disease because crypto adoption went just crazy, but I am too sorry about people left us because of corona.. |

That´s actually admitting a mistake, or admitting having commited a crime. I assume that was the easiest and fastest way to end this tragedy of a law suit, but I think it leaves a sour taste to it, not against Telegram but to regulatory folks
I don't see this a mistake, but rather a bureaucracy against new technology and digital projects. Telegram wasn't about the scam in the first place, however their plan was a bit sketchy in terms of US laws |

Tron is the only cheap altcoin that's worth invest money on right now, gradually this blockchain network will expand in near future, that's certain, for the fact that it's still very cheap you can buy with very little money and hold for many years
I do not agree on this one. Tron is the oldest and the most reliable one among them for sure. However, we don't know which one worth investing and which one isn't. Whole point of risky investments is to risk your funds and pray for big reward. Tron has less chances to gain momentum compared to some relatively unknown tokens/coins |

In my place I can't live without bank because my country doesn't let us to use bitcoin as a legal currency. Also, I have to pay my versity fee in bank, my payment from Upwork comes in a bank. So, I'm a having a tight relationship with bank  . I can't ignore bank if I want. Because I can't use my bitcoins to buy anything here. That's the real fact. Yes, bitcoin has everything that needs a great global currency, except ways to use/spend it... and low fees... and speed of transactions So yeah, bitcoin is kinda like gold in a sense - everyone thinks it has value, but there is really nothing you can do with it. At the same time alts are not developed enough to provide great quality service to outstand banks/fiat. We are all tied up with banks, you're right |

If someone is insane enough to sell to you for Paypal then they will charge you a massively large premium to make up for the inevitable scam attempts.
Literally anything other than Paypal will be a better option. Send it to your bank and buy normally. If you don't have a bank find someone who does and pay them to use it. It'll still work out cheaper.

The madness will probably stop in q2/3 (in three months). I cna imagine everything reopening then if it doesn't get fixed.
Hopefully the gov will just decide its more worthwhile to infect everyone determined healthy for 2 or 3 weeks and wait for them to recover and have enforced mass immunity of we can't get a vaccine fast enough...
Fast forward 2 months later - we are still high up in the ass and we are not expecting vaccine anytime soon. world economy holds up tight. Us govs decided to print enormous amount of money and since most of the world hold funds in usd, US govs just robbed a little from everyone and gave it to us citizens. I expect next dump to be in the next 1-2 months and then we'll climb back to "normal" state of the world |

If you say old coins, I have plenty of them getting rotten in wallet wallet all together. 😂😂 Most of them usually from airdrop and bounty projects that had gone with the wind without even starting or running their projects for at least a year. Hopefully there are some entity or group that would filters incoming projects in order to avoid these kinds of waste projects in the future.
same thing happened to me many times - you register in airdrop, wait for updates, eventually coin is out there on exchanges (hopefully), and in some really rare cases you have a chance to sell 'em off fast enough so can grab your profit most of the time there is no such opportunity |

I do not think that cryptocurrency can completely replace fiat, but the current crisis reveals the many problems of existing systems, which in itself pushes us to use alternative methods, such as cryptocurrency.
The worse the condition of financial systems will be, the higher the likelihood of people using cryptocurrencies.
Sorry, but it was not as I've looked into the market. The situation may reveal that people are now conserving more on fiat rather than adopting cryptocurrency. People have their options, we are supposed to think that during these hard times people will go for crypto but it happens that they are converting it into fiat. Then it was clear to think that crypto isn't the first option but instead, they will consider this purely as an investment. I would love to think the opposite, but I tend to think the same way actually. People won't risk their probably last money on cryptocurrencies which they never knew about ever before. But I personally do believe that a lot more people just knew about crypto because of this current global situation |

Corona Virus effect more than 200 country economies and also effect crypto industry. prices of coins dump quickly its a chance for new users.
The dump is already over, bitcoin is now starting to rise, its' been consistent for 2 days already I guess, and good news is that bitcoin already hit $7000 today. what's next? of course people will expect another pump as most eyes are in crypto now since stocks are falling. i think crypto industry grow upward quickly. It's good to see it slowly but having a consistent growth, that way we can avoid seeing another big dump. I'd call this as 95% accurate info on current bitcoin position in the market. The only thing I want to add to the perspective - as it was said 200+ countries are affected by virus, their economy too, so why people think bitcoin/crypto should be evaluated apart from other coins/stocks falling? It is pretty obvious that most of the currencies and stocks are falling drastically, so its not "Crypto changes", but "The World changes, crypto is doing fine" |

They just open the registration again and I'm thinking of joining again after the mass banning of their members just because of their nationality, I believe I can keep up with their rules, but I'm looking for a cheap VPN right now which is reliable and they cannot trade that I'm using one with 1000 post and 30000 sats post limit daily, it will worth much in the future.
You are other person with other prefernces, but aren't you concerned about service banning users for their... nationality in 2020?? It seems like their days are numbered and there are not much left to be honest. |
