neverlosevision

we can all see that you own the domains, and you just put some 'coming soon' template on them. and now advertise now and again to drum up a few free impressions to try getting better alexa rankings, to then sell for higher price.

your too transparent

[/quote]

You are entitled to your own opinion, and I couldn't care less about your opinion. But, for the record, with my hand on the Holy Bible, I am not affiliated with FranceBitcoin OR the 17 domain assets listed in the original post regarding TruCoin. And, I know for a fact, those two are not affiliated either.

This is my last post.

I'm not sure why you (and many others) always insist on being so negative, but it's honestly a bit rude and immature.

I simply came here to pass along the NEWS that my research uncovered, ...nothing more, nothing less.

Is it not pretty cool that they are pushing Bitcoin on a local level within 17 countries?!

How about simply ENJOYING the news I provided...?!

The end.

No longer participating on this thread, it's a dead end from here.

Take care everyone.

I have no clue what you're talking about, and it's a shame you are so quick to jump to conclusions my friend.

I have absolutely NOTHING to do with this company, I was simply passing along news.

They will surely verify I have no affiliation to them.

Take care.

Hello.

I just wanted to pass along some exciting news I stumbled across.

I read a lot these days about new startups in the Bitcoin space, but this global marketing effort by TruCoin is pretty impressive.

It looks like they have 17 countries LIVE online, each developed in the local language and local currency.

It appears you can even buy Bitcoins with a credit card?!

Check out each country to see their branding and unique sites.

Huge potential here in my opinion, smart guys!

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BTC (.com) Now For Sale on: June 11, 2014, 11:31:25 PM
Hello and good evening.

I'm just passing along some news...

"Bitcoin Domain Names a Hot Commodity"

>>> BTC (.com) Now For Sale

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/bitcoin-domain-names-hot-commodity-150532882.html

BRISBANE, QLD, June 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Domain Guardians, a leading premium domain name broker, announced today that they have been appointed the exclusive broker for the domain BTC.com.

The term "BTC" is the commonly used abbreviation for the crypto-currency Bitcoin. As such, this rare domain asset provides an exceptional branding opportunity for new and existing companies within the Bitcoin space.

"Whether you're a Bitcoin startup or existing company wishing to solidify your authority and optimize your marketing, there is no better opportunity than acquiring BTC.com," said Jen Sale, Co-Founder of Domain Guardians. "In the right hands, this domain has the power to change the Bitcoin landscape and establish a market leader."

According to Elliot Silver of DomainInvesting.com, there have been a number of recent Bitcoin-related domain sales at various aftermarket venues[1] and via private sale. Notable reported sales include BTCS.com, which was acquired by Bitcoin Shop Inc. for an undisclosed amount in February[2], and BitcoinWallet.com, which sold for $250,000, also in February[3].

Bitcoin experts agree that this opportunity has great potential. "For Bitcoin related companies, BTC.com is the best domain name currently available for sale that I am aware of," said Roger Ver, Bitcoin Evangelist. "Any business using BTC.com would almost certainly catch a lot of extra attention because of this premier domain name." Niko Younts, seller of BitcoinWallet.com, also stated, "Owning a great brand can pay major dividends. There are many savvy individuals watching this space closely, and it is guaranteed to get far more competitive in the future. Ask yourself: 'Do you want to exist or do you want to win?' Owning BTC.com is winning, period."

Two and three letter .COM domain names are rare, memorable, marketable and growing in popularity, as evident by the recent acquisitions of MI.com for $3.6M[4], WAN.com for $800,000[5] and BOX.com for nearly $1M[6]. Major brands and market leaders have also employed abbreviated .COM domains, including A&E Television Network with Bio.com, and former Digg CEO, Matt Williams, has branded his new "projects" company with Pro.com.

"In our fast-paced mobile world, a shorter name is always best," stated Domain Guardians Co-Founder, Mike Robertson. "There's a reason companies are buying and using 2-3 letter domain names - they are quick to type and easy to remember. BTC.com ticks all of the right boxes!"

For additional information or offer / business proposal requirements for BTC.com, please contact Domain Guardians at btc(at)domainguardians.com / +61 7 3103 3312 (AU) / +1 302 261 9888 (US).

There is no such thing as a computerized valuation or "appraisal engine" for domain names or websites.

100% smoke and mirrors, snake oil, magic beans.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Growing Pains & Intellectual Property Gains on: February 25, 2014, 06:02:25 PM
Just my thoughts:

7/13/2007 Blackberry stock was @ $230.52 and today is @ $10.56

3/3/2000 Sony stock was @ $149.71 and today is @ $17.24

12/29/2006 Citi stock was @ $557 and today is @ $48.68

Point being, regardless of the investment vehicle, they ALL inherently have risk built in to the equation.

Bitcoin, and bitcoins, were presented as a PROJECT and EXPERIMENT, and the hype of the media and the anticipation of capital gains from the average Joe sent the phenomenon to amazing heights within the past twelve months. However, regardless of the percentage of loss in terms of dollars and cents, the technology as a protocol and blockchain are simply revolutionary and packed with potential. At this point, that is an undeniable fact.

I can send $1 million dollars from NYC to Dubai on a Sunday at 3:33am - without anyones permission - for pennies.

Fact.

And until that opportunity (phenomenon) evaporates, Bitcoin will in mind at least, be the most significant development in Fin/Tech in my lifetime.

In addition, it's absolutely sickening that the poorest populations of the world who rely on remittances are pickled into outrageous fees of 10%, 20% or 30% of the total funds sent. People in African countries are paying for products and services with cell phone minutes and large sacks of peanuts. If I could fund the project I would turn "Africa Bitcoin" in to a one-stop-shop for the people of Africa and to better serve the multi-billion dollar market.

THINK. GLOBAL.

Owning "bitcoins" is not about you making a return on your investment to pay for your new 55" LED-TV or family vacation.

Bitcoin is about changing the way the world comprehends "money".

There needs to be, and will be, advances in security, software, hardware, as well as other merchant and public-facing products and services that will enable the masses to understand first, then, participate in the Bitcoin economy.

Obviously, no one should have invested more than they can afford to lose. That would be simply irresponsible and foolish.

Would you put your life savings in the stock market or FOREX? Hopefully, the answer is no.

I personally believe it will take a few years to iron out all of the kinks within the virtual/digital/crypto currency world. It would've been extremely naive to suggest Bitcoin would "take over the world" without adversity. That being said, Bitcoin has proven EXTREMELY resilient in the past and I expect it to bounce back once again.

If the U.S. Government can seize $100,000,000+ from the Silk Road drama, countless thefts from unprotected Bitcoin Wallets and Exchanges, the governments of Thailand and Russia (and surely more to follow), can make Bitcoin illegal within their countries, it can work through the Senate and NY - DOFS hearings, and now the original Bitcoin Exchange appears to the naked eye to be corrupt, or at least bankrupt, then I'd say Bitcoin has a pretty good shot at sticking around for 2015.

I personally wouldn't bet the farm on Bitcoin.

However, I surely wouldn't bet the farm against the global Bitcoin army of genius hackers and savvy investors either.

At the end of the day, the world will be a better place if people have the ability, the option, to control their assets. The human beings in Zimbabwe, Argentina, Cyprus, and China are quietly calling out for a healthy and safe solution to the corruption and legacy fiat-currency that is nothing short of crippling to them as a people, and as a nation.

Is Bitcoin the ultimate solution?

Only time will tell.

However, while the greedy and negative, mostly uneducated masses had tunnel vision, here are a few things going on behind the scenes.

Remember the sale of BitcoinWallet(.com) for $250,000...? LoL. Just wait until you see what they have in store.

I'm sure you've heard of LocalBitcoins(.com). They have been very strategically (and very quietly) growing their digital portfolio for the future. Some of their domain assets have been hand-registrations ($8.67) while others have been high-end premium acquisitions within the domain aftermarket. In sum, there have been hundreds of sales within this industry and has surpassed the $500,000 marker.

Examples of assets acquired by LocalBitcoins(.com):

BitcoinHedgeFund(.com), BitcoinInvestmentFund(.com), LitecoinWallet(.com), XBTforex(.com), BitcoinPassport(.com), BitcoinVC(.com), BitcoinGiftCards(.com), BitcoinMarketing(.com), BitcoinMarket(.com), and many more.

Have you heard of LIVE newly developed websites:

CoinSeed(.com), BitcoinAds(.com), BuyBitcoins(.com), BitconATM(.com), HaveLockInvestments(.com), BtcJam(.com), or SecretBitcoinProject(.com)...?

More random notes:

BitcoinAttorneys(.com) 301-redirects to RippleHedgeFund(.com).

Another west coast Law Firm owns DenverBitcoinATM(.com) and PhoenixBitcoinATM(.com).

BitcoinPoker(.com) and BitcoinExpert(.com) among many others are owned by Seals With Clubs.

Just recently, MtGox(.com) in a very interesting move considering the issues, acquired GOX(.com) for an undisclosed sum that I can guarantee you was five-figures, more than likely, six-figures.

SecondMarket to open a Bitcoin Currency Exchange in the USA...?

The Winklevoss Twins open WinkDex.com.

Lou Kerner launches his "Disruptive (Bitcoin) Technology Conference Calls".

The rumor mill suggests that BitcoinStore(.com) is growing and we now have the first publicly-traded Bitcoin company; BitcoinShop (TUCND).

Then of course there is the currencyevolution(.com)/assets/ portfolio which is growing daily.

I predicted you would see more than 250 ATM sales within the calendar year of 2014 and we've already passed that marker before March 1st.

Now, a bit more interesting perhaps, the USPTO(.gov) - TESS Federal Trademark Database.

You don't think Bitcoin is growing, even through the adversity...?

When I first scanned this database there were 4 applications. Today, there are 32 applications.

Did you know that TIGER DIRECT has the application for "BITCOIN MINING"...?

I could go on and on and on about the potential of Bitcoin with applications all around the planet Earth with an educated and research-based spin. However, my goal today was NOT to influence anyone to invest in Bitcoin, but rather a friendly "heads up" to those with an existing interest in the space. Knowledge is Power.

So, while the Huffington Post just publishes another article "This could be the end of the line for Bitcoin", I respectfully disagree. While we could see price fall below $300 in the future, that does not equate to a flatline, death. Until then, until ZERO across the boards, the educated translation is "growing pains", at least in my opinion. But who the hell am I...?

Enjoy.

You guys simply don't understand the billion dollar domain name industry...

110,000 people PER MONTH are typing in "Bitcoin Wallet" in to Google alone, not to mention how many people type in "BitcoinWallet.com" directly in their address bar. The current Pay-Per-Click suggested bid for one click is $1.60 and the competition is picking up, fast.

It is very difficult to have an intelligent conversation about Bitcoin without mentioning "Bitcoin Wallet".

I predicted this exactly, many months ago actually.

With nearly a decade of experience and more than $100 million worth of media as consultant, broker, developer, or licensor, I am fully qualified to tell you that $250k was not "expensive" but rather a very savvy investment to gain a timeless and global competitive advantage in the marketplace.

The sale is real.

In the next few weeks you will see media publications writing stories about this sale.

Every single "Bitcoin Wallet" company on the planet is competing with their website title tags, H1/h2 headers, meta data, and search marketing details (SEO/SEM) for the generic branding "Bitcoin Wallet". That is an undeniable and absolute FACT.

Here is some free education for you guys. And so, point being, the domain name was actually sold too cheap.

Two word - premium domain asset - sales examples:

AreaRugs.com - $405k
RunningShoes.com - $700k
DataCenter.com - $352k

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FranceBitcoin.com For Sale & Bitcoin.me SOLD For $10,000 on: January 04, 2014, 03:48:09 PM
For your information, "China Bitcoin" is searched 720 times per month

I'm not expert, but 1 search per hour doesn't seem that much

It isn't.

Well, while it's not a incredible number of searches, it's still leading the global "search query charts" for country-specific data. But, you have to put it in to context to comprehend the bigger picture and reality.

"China Bitcoin" as a search query (and industry) basically and recently arrived from "thin air" and is still in its infancy. You have to understand what it means from a local (and global) perspective as it relates to the real world of new media and marketing and the potential as a brand.

The suggested bid, PER CLICK, is $2.06 and is supported by the information, interest, and potential ROI, for the relevant and hot leads. As mentioned, the 156,000,000 (164,000 in quotes) archives or results within the Google platform is substantial.

To give a comparison in popularity:

"Dubai Tourism" = 224,000 (dubai is a city/state not country)
"Germany Wine" = 88,100
"South Africa Safari" = 199,000
"Australia Scuba Diving" = 24,500
"Ireland Pubs" = 14,000
"Jamaica Real Estate" = 146,000
"Peru Hiking" = 58,200
"Turkey Gold" = 168,000
"Canada Parks" = 96,000
"Iceland Banking" = 23,000
"Mexico Resorts" = 130,000
"Spain Nightlife" = 13,600
"Thailand Massage" = 99,700
"Zimbabwe Currency" = 84,900
"China Moneygram" = 5,570 !

It stacks up pretty damn good, I think you would now agree.

So, in closing, it's not about someone trying to turn "ChinaBitcoin[.com] in to the next $100 billion dollar IPO on Wall Street, but rather a country-specific marketing platform positioned as an exchange or wallet. It could become the official "China Bitcoin" foundation or group, or, developed as a local platform or marketplace for peer-to-peer Bitcoin trade. It could be a directory of all merchants accepting bitcoin or an online shopping mall exclusively for bitcoin. Or, it could be a marketing play for an ATM or Mining company targeting the "China Bitcoin" market. Either way, if you are looking to be a leader in the "China Bitcoin" market/vertical/sector/industry, there is no better brand available. As the industry grows, more and more entities are going to compete for these keywords within their meta data, online page content, and through their pay-per-click campaigns. FACT.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FranceBitcoin.com For Sale & Bitcoin.me SOLD For $10,000 on: January 03, 2014, 05:57:44 PM
I don't see how chinabitcoin.com can be this worth.
It's totally worthless because chinese people would search for 比特币中国 (already taken), rather than "china bitcoin".
Why they would search in english if they could use their own language?

You can't see "how" because you're not familiar with the domain name industry - or - the valuation metrics and development potential of such a name. It's ok! Wink I will not lose any sleep over you not understanding. As the OP, I was merely passing along industry related research for the public to digest.

For your information, "China Bitcoin" is searched 720 times per month with a suggest bid of $2.09 per click, which is represented by Google within the advertiser dashboard. There are 156,000,000 results in Google for China Bitcoin and 164,000 results in quotes; "China Bitcoin".

Further, on Google.com.hk there are 180,000,000 results with 164,000 in quotes. That's a lot of information, a lot of interest, and a lot of potential.

Like it, love it, hate it...or don't quite understand it, it's a reality.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FranceBitcoin.com For Sale & Bitcoin.me SOLD For $10,000 on: January 03, 2014, 05:41:50 PM
Come on guys, the whole idea behind BTC is to be above all countries. A domain name "countryname-bitcoin.com" is absolutely worthless.

LoL. Thats pretty humorous. Wink

No offense but very clearly you have ZERO experience with global marketing, domain assets, or intellectual property.

No need to reply. These are the type of posts that initiate unprofessional and uneducated "forum wars" and I'm not interested in participating.

Take care.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FranceBitcoin.com For Sale & Bitcoin.me SOLD For $10,000 on: January 03, 2014, 04:47:46 PM
The CHinabitcoin.com price is rather low, that struck me too.  I wonder if it's because it's a .com address.  Do CHinese people use .com addresses?  Maybe it's because they woud never go to a .com address?  and you'd only get AMericans there?

The dot com brand has penetrated every corner of the globe. While each country operates their own ccTLD (.ca, .de, .se, .jp, etc) some are used for generic and branding purposes; .TV, .Me, .CC, etc., are examples of this. At the end of the day ".com" still trumps the global domain asset investment and development arenas for numerous reasons. ChinaBitcoin[.com] is likely the foundation to a great local "China Bitcoin" company and vehicle to instant trust and organic traffic which leads to a competitive advantage ---> exactly why tens of millions of dollars have exchanged hands each and every year since 2006. That being said, it is important to realize every domain owner has his or her own perception of value and threshold for a "buy it now" conversation. But as mentioned, I have been told there is a sale pending.

I was being serious, but you are not the seller anyways, are you?

The numbers are interesting and tell me that the price at the very moment might be kind of (almost) justified, but the potential, the potential...

I am NOT the seller nor do I know the seller or have any tie to him. He is a individual located in China, based on the whois data.

Hmmm, good idea, maybe we should run and register 20-30 of those babies...

ChinaBitcoin [.com] - is for sale by the owner for a flat fee of $5,000 USD

Jeeeez, that's a pathetic number, considering the size of China....

Not sure if you were being serious or rude, but just a little insight to the potential of "ChinaBitcoin" as a standalone investment or full development as a local BitcoinWallet or Exchange:
