1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ScryptGuild (BTC Guild) Beta looking for additional miners on: March 03, 2014, 08:38:18 PM
Well lets say i am pulling 7000 khash what should i set my difficulty to?

All on one worker?

Probably 512.  1024 might push your variance a bit high.

The pool does have variable difficulty.  You can also try setting it really low and see what the pool switches it to.

No spread out between 5 workers. so should i just set it to 16 and let it do its thing or change to 512?

Hello I just started using this website and im using automatic conversion to bitcoin does that automatically set my worker difficulty or should i change those and if i should change just do what 256?

Worker difficulty depends on your hashrate.

Also it says there is a 1% fee and .3% fee if doing automatic conversion so only a 1.3% fee total correct?

That's my understanding.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Question On this Mining Hardware on: December 07, 2013, 07:21:42 AM
I use to mine btc back in the day when i could get a coin a day but stopped sadly...

Now that I dont have to use graphics cards as much i was looking at some hardware that can be usb or something that
I didnt have to maintain as much due to heat or other problems. Now im going to be mining litecoins i dont know if that
really changes anything.

But i was looking at this http://technobit.eu/index.php?id_product=57&controller=product&id_lang=1
my question is if i buy this do i need any other sort of hardware?
and is minding litecoins much different then mining bitcoins? is that the better thing to do?

Is this hardware i can use for litecoin mining i saw someone talking about scrypt systems not sure if this does that.
and what sort of g/hs would i need to get a lite or how long would it take.
