Does the devfee counter take into account that the benchmarks are being mined on your account rather than ours also? If not, that adds up to significantly more than the advertised fee amount, especially when you actually set the timer for long enough to get actual decent readings from the various miners.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: zPool Gui Miner on: January 16, 2018, 03:22:34 AM
I just grabbed 1.9, and am attempting to benchmark now, but it seems it's only using one of the 2 1606 3GB in this rig in the benches. Is this normal/expected behavior?

Edit: I also switched off hide miners in the setup, yet it is doing so, I'd much rather be able to see their output rather than having to read logs to help troubleshoot as I go.

i think multipoolminer use to much memory and probably have memory leak

after a couple of day  computer is out of memory and powershell is using it all

You can't get memory leaks in managed environments like '.net' (i.e. C# and PowerShell).

I've never noticed any problem with it using too much memory but I have 16GB.

How much is it actually using?

Well I've had it up to around 24GB of usage, so I'd say you're wrong on that, unless it's supposed to climb that high, heh.

I don't recall anyone reporting this before. Please can you raise an issue on GitHub.

Yes, was planning on such, but was checking to see if the current release plus the current master pull was doing the same issue. Maybe to do with win7 vs 10 or somesuch?

Hey Tommo,
Is the pool gone for good now, or was there just some major catastrophe with hw/sw? I see the burst pool addy still has funds in it, etc. If you hadn't seen, someone forked uray's pool code and made it avail publicly also. https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/2643/lex-pool-a-rewritten-pool-based-on-uray-source

Shame, it worked for me with the blago version with the issue, and helps with many other things here, like copying large amounts of files between drives, so hoped it would apply here also.

yes, they are using c=BTC.d=384 for pw. I have 4 s3+, but varying the number of them on the pool, esp with the balance flattening as it has been...

I've yet to see a payment from the other day... If anyone else could take a look and see if their status page shows similar behavior to mine I'd appreciate it. http://www.zpool.ca/?address=18855moCFBjUuFqfwP4xYACefZZ2nqDrSU
As you can see, as soon as I started mining again, it dropped the ~30,000 sats it showed from previous balance, and it went poof as far as I can tell. And, if you look, you can see it just recently did it again to my confirmed balance, when it was showing ~.0015 for total confirmed/unconfirmed, now it's back to showing ~.001. Honestly I'm wondering if I'm the only one this is happening to. I really like the premise of the pool, but if I'm not getting paid, I'll definitely not stick around, and I'll recommend against using the pool to anyone else as well...

I should have gotten at least .005 from the mining the other day, yet I still haven't gotten a response from crackfoo about it other than reply here that it would show up when the coins reappeared, which it obviously hasn't, as you can see by lack of a paid amount on that address.

I've been using it on my boxen for some time now, mainly because I got tired of the system trying to turn all available ram into cache. It takes a registry value to set the max amount, so it's a bit fiddly to use, but it does help things significantly.

Here's something that may help people on win 7 - Dyncache, a service to manage cache sizes. Something that m$ put out to implement similar cache management for it that they put in win 8+. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9258

Yes, and it seems every time it resets, it's resetting the 'balance' field on my wallet. I've been mining with between 1-2THs on the sha pool, and have yet to get a payout because of this. Can you assure me that it's going to eventually correct itself on this or have I wasted power for close to 24h now?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Native Burst miner [OSX] [Win] [Linux] on: November 27, 2014, 01:03:45 AM
yes, this is what can be seen looking in the codebox i submitted also, although it's doing it on a pool. I haven't tried solo with this miner.

I am using this miner (R4) with great results on the burst.ga pool.

However, when I tried to solo mine without a pool, I get the same high deadlines reported back from my wallet as reported above by chey.  More precisely, the miner finds good deadlines but when it submits them to the wallet, the wallet reports back a very high value.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Native Burst miner [OSX] [Win] [Linux] on: November 19, 2014, 12:08:40 AM
Is it possible for you to get this stable on windows? Or, for that matter, to quit looping on share submissions that are ridiculously high deadlines (as in millennia) so that it keeps eating share values since I'm mining on a pool that uses your source when it does it? On this machine, an Intel I5-2500k, it's more stable than the other one, but when it crashes here, the cmd window just disappears. On my AMD FX8320, it crashes sometimes 10 times a day with the wonderful check online for a solution bs window. As it is right now, I think I'd be doing better to be running the java miner on each plot dir/drive rather than dealing with this mess...

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TEK] TEKcoin Mandatory Update! 40%+ SuperStake in 30+ days on: August 25, 2014, 06:06:49 PM
Tompool uses primarily NOMP, stratum-python for a few specific coins that don't cooperate, but I'm almost sure TEK is on the nomp side of things.

And btw, about pools being current -

12:32 jaggard: you did catch the tek wallet update right tommo?
12:44 Tommo: yep did that last Friday or so

OK, I give up on a multipool for TEK.  Unless someone is willing to write their own pool software, this just does not seem possible now.  Only MPOS works for a TEK pool and you cant do switching very effectively at all with stratum-python.

If the block submission error is ever solved I will gladly finish my setup of a multipool that pays out in nothing but TEK.  So someone let me know if it ever gets fixed, im headed back to old reliable BTC.

It is likely to fluctuate a lot more with its addition on a sha multipool. What I'm wondering is what other pools have also recently added this coin. It's a good bet there are more than we are aware of right now, just because of the coinwarz voting, and the whatmine profitability numbers showing at or near the top a lot recently.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CTZ] Citizencoin * TAKEOVER! * PURE POS on: June 11, 2014, 12:16:05 AM
Well my ther POS coins are staking fine, other than ratcoin, which is another one that it seems it's possibly maturity issue on those. Pure often has 2-5 stakes confirming at once all the time, TEK staking fine, etc, and wallets are unlocked/unencrypted.

How long can I expect a stake to take on ~5650 coins to take, wallet has been open since the 6th, weight is showing ~19.7k...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CTZ] Citizencoin * TAKEOVER! * PURE POS on: June 10, 2014, 07:51:32 PM
I'm still waiting for a stake, just shy of 400k coins in wallet now for over 4 days, with no stake yet, with the latest client saying now over 136.5k weight.
