There was another GBCoin project set up that predates this coin. Not sure if it's going ahead or not but would it not present a problem??

Thanks for the reply. I have already got the coin creation bit organised. I'm thinking  more about what sort of webserver I should use, which files are necessary, what sort of security precautions should be taken etc etc. Thanks for your reply though. Is there anyone around who could offer some advice regarding the above ?

Is there anyone here who could possibly help with this. Perhaps even get involved in the project. I've read a little about setting up bitcoind etc but, really need a few pointers on many other aspects of setting up this sort of infrastructure and to be made aware of potential pitfalls. Coin would be a scrypt based currency. Again, all help would very much appreciated. Cheers Guys.

If I was to create a new crypto currency (Yes I know, another crap altcoin  ) what processes would be involved in setting up the server to facilitate it being mined by others. Does anyone have any prior experience in this area and could possibly give me some pointers as to what sort of infrastructure would be required. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Hi guys I'm new here and thought I'd share this poem on my experiences with day trading thus far. Hope you all enjoy it.

The Crypto Trader

Woke early in the morning at a twenty past three
Bad dreams about my holdings in the crypto currencieees
Grabbed me rizzla and me baccy and a bit of blue cheese
fired up the latop and logged on to B T C eeee

I glance over at the trollbox and everyone's going crazy
20 messages a second but my heads still kinda hazy
buy sell crash and then oops a fucking daisy
buy high sell low it's gonna bloody break me

Ltc on gox and Chinas going down
muppets in the trollbox playing the bloody clown
I've just lost a fortune but I'm gonna swing it round
I buy back on the dips but then it hit's the fucking ground

Now I'm sweating widly caught short and panic holding
I thought I had the ticket it was looking pretty golden
bear trap in the making and to the whales beholden
the panics kickin in and again I'm fucking folding.

Should have bloody held I could hear the trollbox say
Don't give your god damn bitcoins the bloody hell away
All the spartans holding cause they know just how to play
Been awake 10 bloody minutes and I've ruined my fucking day

Then suddenly in that moment I spot the golden goose
Goddamn motherfucking Chikun is on the fucking loose
Prices climbing wildy it's the pump and dump abuse
I plunge in with the dollar but I'm just tightening the noose

Suddenly it's crashing and ok coin is down
502 bad gateway and my heads going round and round
Stop the fucking ride I can hear the voices sound
Then the goddamn bloody chikun decides then to rebound

Now we're heading skyward and aiming for the moon
and now the bloody trollbox has changed its bloody tune
quick sell panic crash and omg you loon
everything is crashing get out and get out soon

I log onto bitcoinwisdom and cast my eye upon the charts
Had enough of trollbox thinking it's so bloody smart
They have turned the act of lying into a bloody art
Spreading FUD and disinformation of which I want no part

I cast my eyes upon the charts and YES ! their looking green
I'm feeling optimistic based on the data seen
Litecoin flexing muscle and it's looking kinda mean
but sure as bloody likely, falls back into it's routine

Chikun falling quickly It's wing clipped clean away
I'm sat here quite astounded by the current state of play
Panic hold or panic buy or sell it all today
It's another shit decision, trading crypto by the day.

I'm really low on fiat now I'm gonna have to  borrow
ne'er a bitterer pill that one poor soul could swallow
One day elation and the other day sorrow
Though sure as hell I will be back - to trade again tomorrow.
