1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to solve world hunger ? on: March 06, 2018, 01:22:54 AM
The hunger must be combated with a package of public policies that will act in different social areas, stimulating the economic, social and even political development. In addition, each affected region should be carefully studied in order to understand the real roots of the problem, since hunger has different causes.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: who is the best president and leader this generation? on: February 25, 2018, 07:42:33 PM
What I admire most today is Justin Trudeau. Half of his ministries are headed by women, fulfilling his promise in offering a greater female representation , in addition to respecting the diversity. Also I see a lot of humanity and empathy in his positions and I think the world needs examples like this. We Need More Justins!!!

Justin Trudeau is an inexperienced moron. He will stoop down to anyone, if they are ready to vote for him. He is trying to flood Canada with all sort of social outcasts, such as the ISIS members from Syria and Chechens.

I respect your opinion, but I would like to know why do you consider him as an inexperienced moron? And how do you know they're ISIS member? oh wait because they're muslins, so therefore they're terrorists right? I think he's absolutely right to try to help the most disadvantaged, if more governments had this attitude the world would be a better place

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best trading platform? on: February 23, 2018, 10:58:16 PM
Telling which exchange is better is not an easy job, but the most famous exchanges are the best ones, because there is a very low chance that they will cheat or propose not market-driven exchange rates   Smiley

I believe that corruption is not only the biggest problem of my country, it is the main problem worldwide. Most problems in many countries are direct or indirect consequences of corruption.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite movie quote? on: February 23, 2018, 06:19:52 AM
The most memorable quote for me is actually a poem from the movie 10 things I hate about you. My sister and I have watched this movie so many times that we ended up decorating it

I hate the way you talk to me,
and the way you cut your hair
I hate the way you drive my car,
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boats,
and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much, that it makes me sick,
And even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you're always right.
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh,
even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you not around,
and the fact that you didn't call...
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you,
Not even close,
Not even a little bit,
Not even at all."
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you do with Bitcoins but can't do with Dollars? on: February 23, 2018, 05:59:10 AM
You can create bitcoins. Dollars (and all other national currencies) are issued by central authorities, but cryptocurrencies are issued by the blockchain members. Thus, investing your computational power and knowledge, you can earn bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) ‘out of the air’.

Recently I watched a movie called Contratiempo (The invisible guest) and it was definitely one of the best plows twists that I already saw, literally it blew my mind. If you're a fan of suspense with mysteries and murders, this is the movie for you. While I was watching it I was creating theories but the end was totally unexpected! The most amazing film of 2017. If you watch it , let me know if you could guess the end.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the classroom, yes or no and why? on: February 23, 2018, 03:53:26 AM
I think that programming and financial education should be a compulsory subject in all schools . Then while teaching the kids, teachers should address issues such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general. It's useful for the kids and it would help in the growing of digital currencies in the future.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: February 23, 2018, 03:36:46 AM
The first time I heard about bitcoin was in 2016, I was watching the news and they started talking about bitcoin and I was like wtf is a digital coin??? Then I watched a documentary about bitcoin on netflix in 2017,but just now, after reading more about it I undestand what bitcoin is ,It took 2 years for me to learn!
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest In Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2018, 08:06:33 PM
Bitcoin has a big potential to grow. It is more like an asset and not currency, because it is limited. It is smart, secure and fast. It is the most popular cryptocurrency now and most of the altcoins depend on it. Thus, there is a high chance that you will get richer (depending on the amount of your investment) by investing in bitcoin now.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Crypto coin should I buy and hold for 1 year? on: February 22, 2018, 06:52:09 PM
No one has the correct answer to this question, because cryptocurrencies have different characteristics and serve different purposes. That’s is why people follow different coins based on their preferences and convictions. Some big cryptocurrencies (e.g. BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, XMR, DASH, etc.) are among them, however there is a bunch of other coins that are also very perspective. And no one knows which is the best one out of them  Undecided
14  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: February 22, 2018, 06:45:30 PM
There are two main ways of making money with cryptocurrencies: mining and trading. Both of them require research and experience. In terms of mining, the user should choose a hardware that suits to his budget, to the coin requirements he/she wants to mine, the electricity costs, etc. If those numbers are not researched and calculated, mining will be ineffective. As of trading, it is like investing in perspective coins and waiting for their prices to grow. Again, detailed research is required here on the perspective coins to invest in 2018 (for example).

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: February 20, 2018, 07:36:47 PM
In reality, it is very hard to ban bitcoin, because it is decentralized and anonymous, so it will be extremely hard for the governments to track those who have bitcoin. However, banning bitcoin will be bad news, especially if it gets banned in big markets (such as China). The recent media noisy about banning bitcoin in China (which was not real) caused a huge crash in the market.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: February 19, 2018, 04:30:53 PM
It will, and we are experiencing a process through which it actually does replace (or at least push to second plan). The number of people using cryptocurrencies are increasing, the cryptocurrency ATMs, exchanges, online payments services and merchants accepting them are also increasing worldwide. This means, that cryptocurrencies are fastly entering our lives and maybe they will soon replace conventional money. Smiley
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late for Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2018, 04:04:36 PM
No one really knows what is the best time to invest in cryptocurrencies. If you have done your proper research and you realise that you are ready for the job, then don’t hesitate and go for your first initiative. As of bitcoin, it is not late, because many experts expect it to register very high growth by the end of this year (e.g. hedge fund legend Novogratz has predicted $40k price for bitcoin in 2018).
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: February 19, 2018, 03:51:14 PM
If you learn and implement all of the security measures, bitcoin is very secure (compared to fiat money). First, it is cryptography, meaning that it is secured by mathematical algorithms that cannot be broken even by the most powerful computers. The only danger that bitcoin can fase is the scams and phishing mechanisms that exist in the market (like computer viruses). To avoid them, the users need to select reliable digital wallets, public and private keys, as well as not share confidential information with any other user. Also, they should avoid operations with unknown and strange ICOs, users, exchanges and pools. Otherwise, bitcoin is very secure!  Smiley
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gender equality on: February 16, 2018, 06:37:05 PM
It is possible for women to do what men do but not for the average woman. Most men are raised up doing and learning things that are applicable in the workplace. Women are not. It is not that they can't do it they just don't want to or they don't have a lifelong background of skills applicable to the work place. Please don't misunderstand me I am not a sexist it is just an observation.

For example the average guy grows up fixing cars, building shit, etc and over time learns a lot of skills applicable to a lot of jobs. Women certainly could do these things if they wanted but most don't want to. I don't do manual work at my job but I spent a lot of years doing it and fully understand all the details. This is where men get the advantage over women.

I don't think women don't learn these things because they dont want to. It's all about how our society raise the girls, I mean just think about the toys for girls and the toys for boys. Since chilhood , boys are encouraged with toys of spatial notions, financial solutions and logical reasoning. They're toys that develop technological or scientific abilities, unlike the toys of girls who develop the perception of care, for example how to take care of the house or babies. I believe childhood experiences are crucial for future choices, whether for boys or girls, so obviously you will find more men who know how to fix cars than women, because they received an encouragement for this activies since childhood, so this is much more a cultural factor than a biological one .
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: February 15, 2018, 10:26:55 PM
Recently I watched a Ted talks that talks exactly about it and as I thought the traditional rewards are not as efficient as most of the companys believe. The intrinsic motivation, or the will to do things because they matter or because they're interesting or inspiring are much more motivating than the idea of reward. To carry out an activity for money is much less rewarding than performing something for the simple fact of really enjoying that. There's an old phrase that sums up it very well " do what you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life".So hiring people who identify themselves with the mission and vision of the company and that really enjoy what they do is one of the most important steps towards the job motivation.
