It's not the end of the world. When you see major banks doing this, they are actually validating the growth of cryptocurrency. The adoption and use of crypto is a threat to the traditional banking model.

I'm not sure how you interpreted that. However, to be clear, government oversights and extreme regulations of fiat transaction through centralized banks gives those governments financial control over the majority of people in the world.

As far as MasterNodes, the benefits of masternodes can lead to less a number of users conducting Proof of Stake (PoS) mining activities and thus lowering the security of the PoS network. Masternodes definitely provide a valuable service and should be rewarded for that service, but our aim would not be to reward them way beyond the extra value they provide. We believe doing so disproportionately benefits masternode owners above and beyond other users of the system and ultimately leads to a greater degree of centralization.
