We should have found a block by now and we obviously haven't so I'll be restarting and trying to fix stuff now.
Found a block (2396c8a0) but never showed up on the site. Could have been a stale... Good luck  Yeah, I did one of those retard moves and forgot to add the update scripts to cron. Everything works (and has been working) properly and nothing has been lost or anything. I'll be going to sleep so good luck with the mining. It works! Thank you! I do have a pool up right now at http://vcc.altexc.com/ but I'm not 100% sure it works yet. Been mining for 15min and haven't found a block yet and can't be sure it works until one is found. At least there are no rejects or any of those shenanigans  Looks promising. QQCoin pool works like a charm so this pool probably works as well Testing? Will any found coins count? Thank you sir for setting it up! |

All rejects. Is it set up for ybcminer (velocitycoinMiner)? I'm just running it under stratum-mining, as a POW now (assuming this is POW) Don't really know how this works but from what I understand this is scrypt-jane and you can't use cgminer. Anyone that can help? |

A mining pool would be great! Is there anyone that can set it up? Note that it is scrypt-jane so cgminer won't work, it has to be ybcminer.

After 5-6 hours of solomining and 57 accepted blocks with various amounts from 40 - 998 all my wallet shows after a restart is 40 QQC. What happened to the rest?!
what do you mean accepted?? did they go into the balance? or just sitting there as immature? Many thousands of rejects but 57 was registered as transactions and 15 of them stayed in the transaction history (the rest was stales I guess). They never showed up in the wallet as unconfirmed or in the actual balance but I thought they would eventually. At least 40 did Ah yes this is just how it happens, they go to ? then vanish. Same for me. Powerful miners are sweeping up or else a lot of miners all trying to get the same coins. Mining grows harder as more competition comes along. Applecoin was not this hard but it had less miners from the start i guess. Moving on to another coin... Thanks! |

Quite new to cryptocoins but from what I understand these are risky coins to invest in. Guess that could also be the charm of it, taking a risk and maybe be rewarded bigtime Besides mining doge I've also tried my luck with kittehcoin. Seems like a bunch of enthusiastic people so that could be an alternative to catcoin. Rolling the dice... |
