1  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 12, 2018, 02:36:36 PM
Strange question, I like it) Well, I guess that author's understanding of the definition "rich" might differ from common one. I think he meant that each person need way more things than just money, and it’s actually right. But to be rich and to have rich soul isn’t the same thing. And speaking about common understanding of being rich, money doesn’t make you rich, but lots of money does.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: July 12, 2018, 02:28:07 PM
Well, I agree that stupidity may lead to poverty, but nothing more. Common, there are a lot of people from poor countries, for whom it is really hard to find an appropriate job with a good salary. Life is not that easy and we can’t blame people for being poor.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bad eating habits on: July 12, 2018, 02:18:57 PM
For me it is hard to watch my diet and keep it healthy, because of my life speed. I just need another couple of hours per day.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: June 11, 2018, 11:47:52 AM
As far as I understand, there is no need to establish special rules. Cryptocoins are valuable only if they are in use by traders or holders. Therefore, if no one buys a coin, then it can’t exist. It is a way of free market to regulate itself. As for scams, I think that they will always exist among the internet space, but it’s quite possible to learn how to avoid them.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: May 25, 2018, 03:08:33 PM
As for me, slots are the best option among all games but poker is nice too. Sometimes I want to think and plan. Then I start poker games or any kind of games requiring lots of attention and big sums of money. I usually refer to these ones - https://www.allhighrollercasinos.com/bitcoin-casinos Sure I work on my strategy upwards and backwards when it comes to highroller casinos (I guess everybody does). But when I want to rest and just have fun, slots are wonderful. I alternate these two activities depending upon sum of money which I’m gambling with and, you know, my mood)
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason why we really need Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2018, 02:11:55 PM
Humanity need bitcoin because it serves as a trigger that pushing us to educate ourselves. Think about it: which motivation could be better than desire to improve your financial position.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people treat BTC as ponzi scheme? on: May 25, 2018, 01:59:22 PM
Well, imo its normal human reaction on anything new, kinda self-protecting reflex. And it may serve as shield sometimes.
Just think about it: imagine yourself a world, where people accept each idea and theory without doubts and differentiation. That naïve world won’t survive long.
At the other hand it is actually pity that people aren’t ready to accept the fact that cryptocurrency is real and profitable.
It illustrates that some ppl just too afraid of new technologies or too lazy to educate themselves and learn how to differentiate the truth from scam.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: May 25, 2018, 01:46:41 PM
I have a hunch that I won’t manage to suggest anything that you haven’t already heard or read, but I’ll share my thoughts with you guys anyway  Grin
So, the first and the main rule on how to survive loses is right into your mind: make yourself understand that crypto is unstable and the price of each coin most certainly will go up and down and up again in different order. Then try to realize that if you didn’t sell when the price was on top, it doesn’t mean that you’ve lost anything yet. If you did panic selling when the price was down and after that it raised up again – this is when you may stress a little. But not too much either, and this is how to keep yourself from cry eyes out  Smiley – do not invest more than you can afford yourself too loose (financially and mentally).
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Exchange to use? on: May 10, 2018, 03:06:04 PM
For now I’m using several exchanges, but my favorite is Binance. In case if your aim is to know about exchanges as much as you can, it’s better to check some info by yourself, so you’ll be able to see its pros and cons from your own point of view.
I really can’t determine one main reason why I like Binance, because there are several, actually. This exchange has quite affordable fees and high liquidity, but there are more - (https://www.katiewager.org/binance-review). As for complaints and disadvantages of exchanges: personally I never faced significant problems with any exchange, except some problems with 2fa authorization, but it was nothing I can’t handle (my trading experience includes cex.io, binance and kraken).
What I dislike in Binance is that they have myriads of unknown tokens, which sometimes can be confusing. Are there so many people buying into them?
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in bitcoins today late? on: May 10, 2018, 02:58:59 PM
Well, I can’t disagree with author’s opinion that  it’s truthly not too late to buy bitcoin. Of course nowadays investors are not as lucky as those guys, who bought btc for the price of 10 bucks years ago, but bitcoin keep on being quite profitable investment. The hard part of nowadays investing  in btc  is that this procesrequires more efforts now. For example you need to find yourself an optimal time to buy (when the price is deep) and dealing with altcoins requires good strategy.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: which step i should take before buy bitcoin? on: March 21, 2018, 02:16:35 PM
1 Register a wallet. The wallet will keep your Bitcoin safe. Types of wallets: https://themerkle.com/here-are-the-best-bitcoin-wallets-for-2018/

2 Choose an exchange. Firstly, google exchanges operating in your country and make a list of them. As I don't know where are you from, I can offer to look at global ones.

3 Register with a preferable exchange. It's better to open an account at
the exchange which supports your currency of use.

4 Deposit money to the exchange. It's better to try with a little amount
first to understand the whole procedure and not to be scared
risking much.

5 Buy Bitcoin. It can be bought in small fractions, like 0.1 or smaller, but you need to check it with the exchange.

6 Transfer Bitcoin to the wallet. Though most exchanges claim to be safe, they still can be hacked. So better store your Bitcoin in your wallet. [/li][/list]
12  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: March 21, 2018, 02:03:28 PM
There’s never too much cryptocurrency. I gave me an idea to sell all the unnecessary stuff I have for a very low price but in crypto.
Would you go for it?
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why almost everybody suggest to hold? on: March 20, 2018, 04:29:05 PM
Imagine, you’d sell your Bitcoin when the price reached $1000, because bough it for $200.
800 bucks of profit —  great. But you lost you chance to buy them again. While the price reach $3000. Well, now it’s $8000 (And for a minute, it’s a dipping point).
That’s why holding is easier for many because that’s quite a definitive way to earn profit if you believe in the future of Bitcoin. I do)
14  Economy / Economics / Re: What is a good amount of BTC to Buy? on: March 20, 2018, 04:21:14 PM
You shouldn’t be thinking about week returns. It will provoke you to panic sell in case you don’t earn what you thought you’d earn.
Just answer yourself a question why you decided to invest in Bitcoin (Is it a short-term or long and why) If you’re unable to answer there questions means that you are not aware enough. Unawareness causes inadequate behaviour on the market —  panic selling.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best cryptocurrency exchanges on: March 06, 2018, 04:27:34 PM
It’s not about best, it’s about the most reliable IMO. I also like when exchange is clear (with understandable interface), so my vote is for cex. Sure it’s not excellent, but among the good ones.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in bitcoin if you don't know anything about it on: March 06, 2018, 04:11:41 PM

Bitcoin is a global craze. Even farmers, students, the older, housewives ... who are don’t know what is blockchain also buy bitcoin. Because there are so many new investors investing in it in the hope of making a big profit. But actually that is not investing that is gambling.  Roll Eyes
I do not prevent you investing to make money but invest wisely. Especially do not put all the property into bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Hope people do not blindly participate in this gamble. Grin

I have seen even educated people following the herd only. No one tries to do any research while buying Bitcoins or any other alt coin.
That's why we come across panic selling, that led to Bitcoin dipping below $10,000. I'm optimistic, so I see it as temporary discounts that I should use.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Bitcoin will hit 100K on: March 06, 2018, 04:02:07 PM
From the perspective that Bitcoin’s price increased ten times in 2017 and is supposed to increase the same ten times this year, we could assume the rise to $100,000. But, I don’t really think it will happen.
This year, things are different, because the competition among Altcoins is much more intense. Still, $50,000 for Bitcoin is what I really believe in
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Bitcoin Can Change The World? on: March 06, 2018, 03:37:10 PM
Bitcoin has already done what it was supposed to. So, now it’s all about blockchain technologies. There are lots of fresh projects that are more interesting and developed than Bitcoin.
However, it’s so popular that it will continue to rise. So, the greater part of my investment portfolio still consists of Bitcoin.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price decrease and increase on: March 06, 2018, 03:23:04 PM
Does Bitcoin's price decrease and increase make the other Altcoin price decrease and increase? When the Bitcoin decreases, the other coins are reduced by the price. While the price of bitcoin increases, most coins increase. What's the reason for this?

This proves that success of altcoins depend on bitcoin, and they will never be able to overcome it.

I mean that couldn't be farther from the truth because during the altcoin ruin up, right before and after the BTC run up. Bitcoin went up maybe 4x at the top of the line, but all of those other altcoins they went up an insane amount some went up 1000x and things along those lines. These other coins went up crazily, a lot more then bitcoin did..

Altcoins fluctuate with bitcoin, but not with the same amount of volatility as altcoins WILL ALWAYS have more volatility.
Agree with you. Altcoins, in my opinion, can always be more volatile due to far less popularity with common public and even less predictability of short/long-term gains from them.
There are too many of altcoins in the market, sometimes it's even hard to grasp the difference between them.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 06, 2018, 03:12:47 PM
Theoretically, it’s better to invest as you will have passive income (sometimes large enough). However, we also need to admit that this option is quite risky. So, probably the best method will be to go both ways: keep some in bank and invest the other portion in an asset you believe will go up.
