2  Economy / Service Announcements / Bitcoin Crowdfunding Platform - BitSpotMe on: February 20, 2018, 07:17:54 PM

Alongside our social and charitable monetization and crowdfunding platform that has been recently released, we are now also launching a full fledged Bitcoin and multi Crypto Currency Crowdfunding platform at BitSpotMe https://www.bitspot.me/

https://www.bitspot.me/Bitcoin-Crowdfunding-Cryptocurrency.html

Bitcoin and Crypto currencies should be playing a larger part in both Social monetization and also charitable and socio-economic aspects of the real World.

Bitcoin and crypto crowdfunding has the power to make real difference in all of these areas and in a decentralized and fast paced and ethical manor.

With low transaction fees and millions of users, we can be putting our crypto millions to good use by helping to fund charitable, social and economic ventures through Bitcoin Crowdfunding. In doing so maintaining the benefits of cutting out the banks as much as possible, within reason. While still funding causes that require (at least for now) FIAT currency.

In doing so we're going further to merge the crypto World and the everyday world. Something that needs to happen more in 2018 in order to level the perceptions of our industry and spread the benefits further afield.

As always, we're looking for feedback, either here or by email talk@bitspot.me

I think that Bitcoin and crypto has great potential for YouTube creators to earn income.

The options are open to the Youtube channel owner.

Their choice is :

  • Display their addresses, accept payments, handle a wallet / register with an exchange and withdrawal to FIAT themselves
  • Use a service like https://www.bitspot.meto handle the process for them in a similar way to Patreon

As mentioned, a Youtube channel owner could set up a website, get a merchant account and accept donations, but in reality most are looking for a source of revenue from their viewers / supporters, a deposit into their bank and the time and funds to be able to concentrate on creating content.

It's a personal preference and depends on what they are in to.

If YouTube users want to benefit from the millions of crypto users, who are certainly willing to contribute / donate / support with a quick crypto transfer, then the method ( i.e direct to the channel, or via a third party like BitSpotMe ) is down to their preference.

Bitcoin and Crypto currencies should be playing a larger part in both Youtube monetization, Social monetization and also charitable and socio-economic aspects of the real World.

Bitcoin and crypto crowdfunding has the power to make real difference in all of these areas and in a decentralized and fast paced manor.

The problem with a lot of the suggestions here, is that they aren't appealing to the majority of YouTube users.

People are looking for actual monetization alternatives, a way to get sponsored / tipped / donated to, from their viewers, that equates to a revenue stream. They want to be able to focus on creating content.

At the moment, with the way that YouTube are policing their partner program this means a lot of YouTubers have lost their straight forward income.

The beauty of Crypto is that the community is generous, and transactions in multiple cryptocurrencies can be made quickly and cheaply.

The issue, for most YouTubers, is that they don't want the hassle of converting their crypto donations into FIAT, or holding multiple wallets, or dealing with exchanges. In some Countries they can't receive payouts in FIAT.

If this wasn't the case then all Youtube channels would be displaying their crypto addresses along with every video.

What we're doing at BitSpot.me is combining crypto acceptance with a straight forward payout in Global FIAT currencies. Effectively connecting crypto donations with the FIAT payouts that YouTube channel content creators are looking for.

BitSpotMe - A Cryptocurrency Crowdfunding and Social Monetization platform.

Quote
BitSpotMe focuses on low transaction cost social funding in Crypto Currencies. Combining Crowdfunding, Social Monetization with Ethical Charitable fundraising.

We combine blockchain based transactions in Cryptocurrencies with efficient international banking relations to provide a fundraising platform for multiple uses with settlements deposited in local currencies around the World.

Alongside our core business of Crowdfunding for businesses and Social monetization, BitSpotMe works with charities and charitable causes in a non-profit capacity. Assimilating the cost of charitable fundraising, processing and handling of funds. We cover all of the costs involved at our own expense as an ethical preference.

We are the first platform to guarantee that charitable causes receive 100% of all funds donated. We are already working alongside Cancer Research UK in this capacity and are bringing the same fundraising platform to global charitable causes.

We are now in the Beta phase of our new Crypto Crowdfunding platform that caters to Social Media Monetization, Business and Charitable cause Crowdfunding.

Our moral philosophies are

  • Low cost crowdfunding through Crypto currencies
  • 0% Transaction free fundraising for charities (we cover all costs) - We believe Charity is Charity and 100% of any donation should be passed to the Charity / Cause
  • Further bridging the crypto and social media Worlds in order to bring even more positive use of Cryptocurrency and our community to the public domain.
  • We're in the beta phase for initial feedback and are already working with several charities, including Cancer Research UK.

Our platform works in a similar way to Crowfunder / Gofundme / Patreon. Users can create a funding campaign and donations are made directly on their BitSpotMe campaign page (URL).

Our platform offers an addition / alternative to Crowdfunder / Patreon and the Youtube Partner Program, and allows donations / contributions in Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dash (DASH), DigiByte (DGB), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Gamecoin (GAME), Litecoin (LTC), Monero (XMR), NEO (NEO)and Ripple (XRP)

We convert payments to USD instantly and settle all campaign payouts in the users local currency.

Our early adopter rates throughout our Beta phase are 3%. The fee covers every aspect of receiving, converting and paying out into the campaigners account. We also work with smarter banking partners who provide improved exchange rates. So we're reducing the cost and maximizing the amount received at every stage.

BitSpotMe will be focusing on Social Media funding, Charitable funding, Social Causes as well as Business / Startup crowdfunding campaigns. All in cryptocurrency with funding paid out in FIAT.

We also work transparently and all transactions / exchange data will be provided to the campaigner. Even if the crypto / USD exchange increases before an exchange, we will pass on the exact amount to the campaigner.

We have a flat fee and provide a smooth and innovative service. Crypto is a social movement, BitSpotMe supports and wants to further this.

Having observed the huge issues and impact on income, that so many Youtube channels are having with Google Partner program monetization payments, as well as the recent issues and limitations of Patreon, we're rolling out BitSpotMe for YouTube Channels.

You can find information on how our platform addresses YouTube monetization here : https://www.bitspot.me/youtube-monetization-bitcoin-cryptocurrency.html

Alongside our marketing and current discussions, we're really interested in gathering as much feedback as possible from as many sources as we can, so drop us an email or message if you have any questions or feedback talk@bitspot.me

It looks like possible with custom donations only  Huh

The BitSpotMe platform works in a similar way to other Crowdfunding sites / Patreon.

The user creates a campaign, this gives them a campaign page / URL. And then donations can be made direct from their campaign page.

You can see an example of the donation / contribution process on our Cancer Research campaign page here : https://www.bitspot.me/campaign/4/cancer-research-uk

Just click "Donate Now" and you'll see that you just choose a donation amount, and then select your Crypto Currency.
