Update on satoexchange, we in first.  altmarket wants 10 trades ever 2 weeks so let stay listed there.  reach out to friends you know and introduce them to staking rewards!  we have many exchanges to choose from.  i still advise keeping TRI in Qt wallet at all cost and use exchange to trade to friends!  i think college age family members are good ideas also!  share the love and rewards!

I keep outvoting those "Bitcoin Flash Cash" bastards. I wrote a rapid voting script so I don't gotta click so much, and I got deeper pockets. If we need a boost again, hit me up on discord and let me know. I check that daily now.

Does anyone have any further information on Satoexchange? They are based in Arkansas, it appears - but that's about all I know about them.

Any info on who runs it/regulatory compliance in the US and all that?

I've been gone from crypto for a long while and I'm just making my way back into it and would love to know if this coin is still pumping around and active because I like TRI

I would also like to add that we are trying to get listed on SatoExchange, voting in progress:

I noticed coinmarketcap already has a triangles page (on app at least) I like to look at from time to time. coin circ is 130k though. I remember seeing coinmarket policy of $10k daily volume minimum. I think DecentralCore's plan is arbitrage and the BTC buys are already stacking.

I think you automatically get listed once you show up on one of the ~400 odd exchanges they aggregate date from.
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

One that seemed promising (and ranked nicely for volume) was gate.io. Their listing process is this short little form. All that is missing is a whitepaper:
https://www.gate.io/en/listrequest

TRI has been historically whitepaper agnostic, by design. The primordial shitcoin era from whence our genesis block emerged was nauseating. Our OP was fresh air breathing "no dripping buzzwords here."

I have been meaning to use the "blog" feature on oddbank.info to chronicle some economic models made possible by low volume POS tech but I think our whitepaper is this thread and can be summed in 3 words... "You know why"

Ha. Yes, I am definitely familiar with that sort of scam ridden environment. I totally get why. You need to do a little bit of legwork to get the full scoop on TRI, and that's part of the appeal/character of the coin.

It wouldn't be bad to have something like a technical blog, white paper or some sort of spec-sheet (beyond the very basic high-level stats posted at the beginning of this thread). Maybe something about what elements from Bitcoin and what elements from Peercoin have been merged. It can also be "hidden" as well to add to the mystery and appeal.

Perhaps the only way to find it is to visit an obscure onion site that's only online during the solstices and can only be found buries in our message board or discord or some such esoteric nonsense.

Time for Coin market cap and Coin gecko to relist [TRI].  🔺

Did my part and voted. We need to become an "official" coin again.

It was tested and works

Coinomi was willing to support TRI in 2016.  activation start service $1500 USD and continual service fees are $25 USD.  The dinosaurs nature of the coin in the exchange keeps pooling resources in the hands of first world country governments unifying all currency into TRI.  maybe they will work together.... because us, we like to live in the crypto decentralized shawdows of the blockchain.

1500 is doable considering the benefits. Do you have any details from the days when TRI was listed back in 2016?

TRI was never listed on coinomi because this dinosaurs stretches time, bends the emotions and shatters dreams.  the groups in this community are scattered like feral cats that lurks in the dirty recesses where cyber slime dwell.  the only thing on their mind is to keep triangles in wallet till the world ends with their grand grand grand grand children.

I think what Triangles Dream was trying to say is that, no one ever does anything or no one can get any significant progress and keep it moving forwards.  Any and all ideas are not good enough, worthless or kinda makes this awesome technology seem below average.

I would love to see TRI on coinomi but you'll have to expect absolutely no help from a sinlge person.  The reason is because anyone that helps feels it is a scam for BTC or TRI.  Lets say 5 people helped pay to get listed and no one pays continual service fee, then they will feel that you and coinomi scammed them.  Lets say you paid the fee and continually pay to keep it listed and no one ever helps you, then you willl feel this whole community is scamming you.   Also if anyone ask anything from anyone, no one is willing to send first in fear of being scammed.

Keeping TRI in Triangles wallet is safest conclusion.  Coinomi would be great for very extra careful triangles missions but still i would rather have my TRI in Qt wallet.

I would like to see TRI in localbitcoin where you can crypto to crypto (TRI/BTC).  People would have agreed amount of crypto at agreed price before entering agreement.  Once agreed upon the crypto is released.  Also TRI for $$$ is good because getting BTC can be a pain (unsteady confirms, long block time interval, transaction fees, price changes)

or

paypal system that uses TRI

or

both same time

I think the inertia will eventually be broken. The "community" is very small and dispersed over space and time. IT is comprised of some of the internet's more, shall we say, aloof types (myself included). As resources become available to me, I do always come back and grab a little bit of this coin. I was disappointed with the damage caused by the loss of Cryptopia, but I still think the network will always exist in some shape or form.

I also think people would feel less scammed if the holders in the top 10 would start to maybe offload some coins or offer bounties for various victories. People would be incentivized to work harder if they  had a bigger stake. For me personally, I have a goal I want to reach - once I get to that goal, I plan on trying to be more generous in an effort to get participation.

It is at this point that the conditions are the least "scammy," since the damn thing isn't worth much anyone messing around with it is just in it for the fun/curiosity/nostalgia (what have you). That's a strength imho.

Well maybe most don't even know TRI is even on an exchange after Cryptopia as everyone knew that TRI was listed on there and that is why the top holders are still holding and not selling any TRI. I think that once TRI is listed on Unnamed exchange it will help with awareness and like I said if anyone knows who had the official TRI twitter account it would help as we can bring it to life again and more would know that TRI is alive and kicking.

Do we have a timeline or announcement about this listing? I still don't see it on there. Who is handling all of that stuff?

Also, what was the OG twitter handle for TRI? Maybe we can just set up another one with a similar name?

3800 Sat TRIANGLES promotional fullfillment.  for all you stakers in Triland i am going to start fullfilling orders at 0.00003800 BTC in Unnamed Exchange for a limited time Exchange Opening  promotion.  Vella85 post your TRI address in here or message me for Finders Reward/your promotion on twitter.  jrush post or message  your addy so i can track when you have your 1000 TRI so i can end the promotion and move my TRI back in to (TRIFOREVER) wallet.

So, I had some issues compiling from source a couple of years in the past and gave up (I haven't tried recently). I am a little bit out of my element, as I am more of a frontend developer.

Is there anyone who might be willing to share a pre-compiled daemon to test out? We could benefit from maybe requesting integration with Coinomi wallet. I'm willing to help out with that if someone wants to give me some pointers on compiling from source, I have never done this before.

You can get TRI on coinomi?  All you need is help with compile?

I can try to go through their process and figure out what we need to help them with integration. Their stated mission is to add every coin. I'm not sure what their process is, but it isn't a bad angle to try to get listed on wallet apps like that.

Compile is a separate issue. I am wanting to give compiling another shot (I don't recall specifically the details of the issues I was running into, need to try again to jog my memory). You can't get anywhere with anyone negotiation wise if you can't do that first. I was messing around with TRI in the past, and I'm happy to see people showing interest again.

I am also willing to help with setting up and hosting a new site, maybe with a "roadmap" of some kind. I wouldn't mind some input from the community if we can get together to discuss on discord.

I would love to host a meeting to discuss ideas on how to get more people to participate (on top of the great work being done with the faucets). I will also work for TRI bounties if a larger player wants to offer some in exchange for certain work.

Hello Triangle Fans,

I am looking to acquire a large quantity TRI, and wouldn't mind making a deal off the books.

I have a couple of buy orders open on BTC Pop, but does anyone have an offer they can make? I am looking for something on the order of 1000 TRI, and I will work with you over one of the TRI exchange options available.

Also, special thanks to everyone who has continued contributing (particularly to the process of getting listed on exchanges) during these trying times. Thank you.

The problem with BTCPop is that there isn't any liquidity on there so I suggest that you wait for Unnamed exchange as hopefully some will set up some sell orders on there to get things started and then you might be able to accumulate the amount you need to start staking. I know I plan to help support the TRI books on there but won't be selling any at this stage.

You really think there will be more liquidity on unnamed compared with cratex or BTCPop?

i am willing to help if you are willing to work with me.

it sounds like you want to stake for rewards?  are you here to support this scientific and mathematical community for the long run?  if so i am willing to get your bag to 1000 TRI

how much BTC do you feel 1000 TRI is worth?  Once Unnamed Exchange opens place your bid for 1000 TRI at a reasonable price on the buy wall (i spent $5 USD for 1 TRI in the past) so 1 USD - .50 cents is reasonable ~.00010000 BTC.  i will slightly work up buy wall and fullfill your order.
every few days work the buy bid up the buy wall till your BTC is depleted, if we meet the sell wall then buy those cheap TRI.  then send me your TRI address with at least one confirmed reward and i will fill the difference caused by working up the buy wall with me.

This will flush out short traders while adding to network security and giving you lowest price i can offer.  I will be watching and tracking the exchange and your TRI wallet as to make sure you're honest.

btw never rush a developer or they will spit in the code

also whalebone that 1% for an exchange can go into btcpop faucet if you like Smiley

I am just looking to acquire some supply to stake and help participate. TRI reminds me of the early days of cryptocurrency, where the participants are more in it for the fun of it. I am not sure on what basis this claim about supporting the scientific community is (besides the nerdy nature of the name and its nostalgic feel). Are there any examples of any real scientists endorsing or using TRI?

I also am signed up for Unnamed.exchange (that's the one a handful of you guys have been plugging recently, right) - "The world's most advanced crypto trading platform" (bold claims). Somehow, I am skeptical that it will solve the liquidity problem. Is there evidence that it will be different from BTCPop or Cratex?

I would say ~1000 TRI is worth maybe 0.038 BTC to me right now. I understand the lack of liquidity on BTCPop, which is why I am trying to see if there is anyone wanting to sell on here. So if anyone posts an order to sell TRI between 0.000035 BTC and maybe 0.000045 BTC, I am inclined to buy. I will be staking on my own infrastructure in an effort to further bolster the network.

I wouldn't dream of rushing the developer. I'm a lazy (er... *cough* creative) developer that hates being rushed as well.

They have that new coin distribution tab. Im guessing that is for balances in bittrex accounts and not like a rich list of actual wallets?

I was under the impression that the coin was delisted from bittrex?

This is the richlist, I'm not sure that the API can generate this though - I was trying to figure out how this was generated.

Is this project still alive?

I like the size and scope at the moment, and I'd be happy to help in some way. I am a frontend web developer, and I'm pretty adept at Javascript, PHP, C#/.net - I know there isn't a roadmap or whitepaper, this particular forum seems to be the biggest knowledge base at the moment. That doesn't bother me, and I'm sort of looking at this as a learning experience. I like the new block explorer and I'm happy to see that a simple API has been provided.

I have a few questions:

I was curious about the staking algorithm. Does the coin or wallet age affect the reward, or is the reward based purely on the % of total supply controlled by the wallet?

Are there any plans to be re-listed on bittrex?

What is this coin based on (was it forked from another concurrency)?

Thanks Guys,
