Hello,

So I started a masternode by following the instructions in the video.  I also read in this forum that it would take between 24-36 hours to receive first payment.  That was when there were only 600 nodes.  Now there are more than double that.  My node has been up for 2 days and 6 hours with no payments.  Does anyone have any recent experience with how long it takes to get that first payment?  Also, after that first payment, do the payments come more often and at regular intervals?

My next topic is staking.  I followed that video as well.  Any ideas when I should receive my first coins from staking?

Thanks very much.

hka

[edit]

Nevermind.  My first reward just came through.  For anyone that is interested, it took about 2 days and 8 hours with almost 1300 masternodes on the network.  As for the staking, I realized my mistake and everything should be working here in about an hour.

Quote from taserz in post one:

  • Go to minersip./cgi-bin/minerAdvanced.cgi and change the frequency of the miner. I would start at around 675mhz and run it for a few minutes and check for hardware errors.

minersip is the IP address of your miner

I'm sorry.  I must have misread the url.  It works now.  Thanks very much for the help.

Out of curiosity, is there anything like this mod for the L3+?  I found one by a dude named Blissz, but his links were down and the forum has been dormant since January.

Thanks again.

Hello Taserz,

First, I'd like to say thanks for all the work you've done.

Second, I was hoping you could help.  I have a 13.5 S9 that I'm trying to overclock with your mods.  I have followed the instructions on page one.  I flashed the fixed frequency firmware (650) from Bitmain's website and I have replaced the stock bmminer with yours (880).  After the mod, in the kernal log, I can see two different frequencies:

Code:
Miner Type = S9
set_reset_allhashboard = 0x0000ffff
set_reset_allhashboard = 0x00000000
set_reset_allhashboard = 0x0000ffff
set_reset_allhashboard = 0x0000ffff

They miner is set to run at a fixed frequency so we can all buy some lambos.

Is this right? If so, at which frequency is it running?

Also, on the configuration page, I am only able to select between 550M, 600M or 650M.  In another post in this thread you talked about making the changes on the advanced tab.  I don't have that tab anywhere.  Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to manually tweak other files through WinSCP?

Thanks in advance for the help.
