Thanks for destroying my hope of raking in the money on those poker sites by publicly showing it to the other sharks.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC crash ;) on: December 16, 2013, 08:50:38 PM
I wish I had setup a btc-e/mtgox account.
I'm wondering with those exchanges.

But I have some fast questions, lets say there are no fees.
1) If I sell like 1 bitcoin at 675$. How long will it take for the money to be in my wallet?
2) Let's say I want to sell at 675$, but the price is going down. It's reaching 625$ so I got no chance of selling at that price. How long does it take for me to remove my sell order and place it back at 624$?

One guy on BTC-E is buying 407 bitcoins at 675$.
Shit he's got a lot of them. insane.

Edit : Is there a software that his quite fast at refreshing Sell/Buy orders of bitcoins for BTC-E and sites like that or the only way is to refresh the browser?

8  Other / MultiBit / Re: I sent bitcoin to MultiBit but they never arrived on: December 10, 2013, 05:50:54 AM
I'M using WIFI university internet. Maybe its the reason.
So does that mean I should use internet wallet for the moment?

Ah ok. I'll get my 0.02 bitcoins back one day Tongue

Is there anyway I can circumvent that? Like download the blocks from someplace?
So I tried transfering my private key to blockchain.info. Didn't work for some reason. I'll think about that another day.

11  Other / MultiBit / Re: I sent bitcoin to MultiBit but they never arrived on: December 10, 2013, 03:35:37 AM
Hi, I've download multibit and I read on the web that it would sync in seconds. But I supposedly received bitcoins but I can't see it.

In the left I read "Connected to 0 peers" so I'm not getting any blockchains. I've gone on blockchain.info and they say my money is in the wallet.

I've gone there :
https://multibit.org/en/help/v0.5/help_support_sentBitcoinToMultibitButTheyNeverArrived.html

I followed every steps.

How can I find peers? I really need to know that the transactions as really been done and that I can access my wallet.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Yes or No question about actual KH/s vs Mining Hardware comparison wiki on: December 10, 2013, 12:01:05 AM
I've been there : https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison
The wiki said that my NVIDIA GT 540M was mining LTC at 26-28 KH/s

Is that normal that I am only mining 6,3 KH/s of Stable Coin/ Fast Coin?

Could it have to do with the fact that my laptop is taking power from internal video card instead of my GT 540m?
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: December 09, 2013, 11:18:44 PM
Just downloaded Quarkcoin miner, 1 hour later Google said an unauthorized accound access attepmt had been denied. I deleted file, scanned computer with both AVG and Norton and reset passwods on mt.Gox, ebay, paypal, etcetc :/

Carzy this world! Sad

Yo I would bet you're not safe. It's probably a new virus/trojan that isn't detected with anti-virus as of now. Change your passwords using another computer and pray that they detect it.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The whole quark thingy on: December 09, 2013, 12:57:15 PM
It got pumped by Max Keiser, but that's about it.

It offers nothing substantial over Bitcoin. It just has a good number of zealots promoting it.

thats it. this is pump and dumb. take a look at the stats of the coin...  Roll Eyes

Where can we see stats of coins, where are you looking exactly? I got websites like coinmarketcap, cryptsy, bter. Is it the only thing you're looking at? Are you saying this because of the volatility?

Hi, I would like to test this type of software.
My username is : tabarnak
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: December 09, 2013, 09:20:08 AM
Hey people. I would like to know about coins I could mine just to get a feel from trading on cryptsy. My hashrate is quite low but it's just for testing purposes. What should I go for? My scrypt hashrate on Stablecoin is like : 6.3 KH/s.

I would like to find a coin that I could get something like 10 coins per hour.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The biggest annoyances as a new user on bitcointalk on: December 08, 2013, 10:37:52 PM
The rules that we cannot post under 6 minutes is really annoying. I'm an university student and I only have access to WIFI internet. And for some reason another people on the campus is also posting right here on this forum. So pretty much the only time I can post here is during the night.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: December 08, 2013, 01:46:20 AM
Just wondering, what's the hypest alt-coin right now? :-)

http://coinmarketcap.com/
See the red HYPE?

Thanks for the website, it made me discover a lot of different currencies.

But I'm wondering if there are documentations on the utility of the various coins. I know that Bitcoins and Litecoins will probably the main general trading coins. Also Namecoins is used for domains of the DarkNet.

But what about the other currencies, are there others that are as specialised as Namecoins?

Thanks for your help. And if you got a link instead of writing it all down I would appreciate a faster exchange of information.
