Apparently people are getting this problem when they refresh the merit tab. This is why paypal and other online payment systems warn you when refreshing a tab, because the data will be sent multiple times.
|
|

Yeah the merit system seems to do a good job of catching account farmers.

I can post in facebook and twiiter i also can supervise the channel i speak arab .frensh and english
You can use your facebook and twitter for bounty campaigns. I believe that many users here need translators to reach a larger audience for their ICO's so that is also something you can do. I recommend starting a thread and detailing all of your qualifications. Good luck.

Yes, a signed message is the only way of recovering the account. However, even with that signed message, you would still have to wait a long time before you got the account back because the staff are very busy with attending to hacked accounts at the moment.

Cloudflare has been removed once again. Thanks theymos for doing this. Having Google breathing down our backs is never a good thing and I'm sure many of the forum users agree and support your decision.

Pictures and the serial number would help your post. Can you post the complete model number of it? That should give us the year it was produced (I think) I need a new laptop I split a tablespoon of mountain dew into the power port of my old one ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) A similar thing happened to me with my Macbook Pro but I was eating oil on toast and dropped the damn plate on my keyboard. The oil destroyed most of my keys including the power button.

Perhaps someone will be interested in this topic. I sell old audiocassettes, production Russia. Write.
It will help if you add pictures. How much will shipping cost if you are shipping a relatively large object from Russia?

I'm thinking some words or phrases should be outright banned during account creation. For example, if the site detects that a user used the words "bitcoin price down" in that order in the subject, the site should not allow that thread to be created; we don't need the same thread for the millionth time. I think this is an efficient way of combating such threads.
I know of some forums that use bots. Theymos could implement a bot that could detect these kinds of posts. It would take a massive workload off of the moderators. Although like I mentioned above, most of these posts are in off topic so you can just ignore them.

To be honest, our funds now are quite restricted, so we will handle only around 20 requests from forum members with high reputation.
You might have some difficulty managing a mixer with low funds. Nobody is going to send under $20 because your fees and the transaction fees will be too costly and if somebody sends a large amount of coins, you wont have enough volume to properly mix their coins. Bitcoin mixers are hard to start and you are too late. Some mixers have been in existence for over 5 years and have a good reputation so you are competing against them.

Hello Hero members! We are right now working on our own ICO project and we are looking for a hero member who could provide us his/her account for our bounty program. We would pay you a certain amount of our ELYCOINS. You have nothing to do as we have a community manager who does all the work. We only need to have your account where we are allowed to post about us. Please send me a message. Regards ELYSIAN
1. You haven't mentioned the name of you campaign. 2. Why do you need hero member accounts? 3. You don't say how much Elycoins you will pay 4. Why would you pay in Elycoins if you are running your own campaign with your own coins4. If this isn't a signature campaign, it sounds like a scam if you need hero members to promote your coin with mass topics. Bitcointalk members are relatively smart compared to other forums. Nobody here is going to give you their account to use unless you offer a large escrow.

I have seen in many of the blog entries that they are either fake or made with duplicate accounts or have been reposted. This forms a major chunk of the blog entries and thus affect your blogging promotion. I would like to extend my service to weed out such unauthentic bloggers from the blog bounties. If you agree with the issue then let me know, I will help you out in this with my expertise in bounty campaigns. I have a lot of experience and techniques to find out such fake entries. If you wish I can provide you my technical expertise in weeding/filtering out such bloggers/entries. It will take me 2 or 3 days to do the job. Just let me know by PM if you are interested. If you are satisfied with my work you can pay at your will otherwise also it is ok.
Isn't this what bounty campaign managers do? Granted, there is a lot of work needed to read through all blog posts and check for plagiarism so I doubt a single person could manage doing so and you're expertise might be needed. You mention that it will take you 2-3 days to do the job instead of running full time for a few hours each day. Are you going to get through the entire 6-8 weeks worth of bounty blog posts after the bounty has finished? It will probably take much longer than 3 days to review all the posts.

I am looking for someone to create a very simple plugin for QGIS or a pyqgis script.
Qualifications required: QGIS and Python
Work should take 1 - 2 hours max.
Work will be paid in BTC, PM me for description of project, we can discuss the fees after.
Will have a forum escrow to ensure that the project is completed correctly and paid for.
You might have better luck finding somebody on https://www.xbtfreelancer.comI stumbled upon this website not too long ago and it works in the same way as Freelancer. You can pay somebody in Bitcoin with escrow. You will probably also find somebody very capable on the forum but I don't know of anyone yet.

Change your email password, and account password. Make sure that any accounts that you use the email and password for you change too. Contact theymos through personal message to see if he can find anyone matching that VPN. Although, it's likely a VPN/Tor exit node and won't be helpful.
I don't think theymos would have the time to respond. There are accounts on this forum that still need to be recovered for people who have proven that they own the accounts (Trankil is as example). This would be very low priority and you probably won't hear back for theymos. Agreed, change your email and password like Welsh said.

sorry thread I made a bit off the mark. I am just confused with so many of her threads the same, eg "bitcoin price down" or "its falling bitcoin price" and still many others its. the thread is different writing but its meaning is the same, still it-that's all. what before making threads they never see first thread before? what kind of things can be called spamer? there is little benefit I get if all threads like that. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) Most of those kinds of posts are just to get activity up for accounts. They don't require any thought and are just spammy opinions that say the same thing over and over again. They are basically copy/pastes. Most of them are in off topic, so I would suggest you don't visit that board.

So I logged into bitcointalk earlier today and noticed that it's now running Cloudflare.
Firstly I don't think this is a good idea because I now need to keep the security-vulnerable javascript enabled on a website that deals with bitcoin.
Secondly, I don't want google crawling up m my ass, invading my privacy, logging my data and fucking me over like they tend to do.
Thirdly, if cloudflare is now enabled, I think that google recaptcha should be disabled on the login page.

Remember that if you want an offline wallet, you will need to download the entire blockchain which I think is over 200gb.

I posted to suggest another possibility. Human nature manifests itself in a variety of forms. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I believe the answer is to restrict merit awards to a maximun of 2 at a time, or possibly 5, but certainly no more than that. That would mean the 57 members who get sMerit every month would need to find loads more quality posts to get rid of their merits in time.

So someone on this forum owns 2 or 3 hero + level accounts? Kind of scary when you think about it.
