1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the birth of bitcoin will cause google to die? on: April 19, 2018, 11:53:38 AM
bitcoin currency and block technology was invented , if block technology universal in the world , we need a based on block search engine it ? google web-based search technology will be out of date it?

You have some wrong info. Blockchain tech has been around since the 20th century.

But you're right about a decentralized search engine. Google caters to their ads and obviously some kind of central nepotism or favoritism that influences the search results.

A decentralized search engine will be more fair and unbiased.

Man. Intelligence is wasted on the weak. Why reformat hd when they could've stolen private keys and pw instead

How is this thread not spam? And everyone replying seem like bots. Maybe they really are..

Does bitcoin.org's desktop wallet allow you to store bitcoin in a segwit address? It's my understanding that they're not segwit by default

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A redditor is threatening me to send him cryptocurrency. on: March 14, 2018, 11:23:38 PM
Looking back on life, i, too, used my gmail on my cv. I use that gmail for forums signups.

Now I see how easy it is to get someone's personal info... because cv ends up in Google

I would not bother paying. Because anyone who wanted to know would just Google your reddit name.

Best u can do is create a fake cv with the same usernsme, but different email extention to create some confusion
7  Other / Meta / Re: Earning merit points by being a cry baby! on: March 14, 2018, 11:16:50 PM
Now we dont have any chance of getting rankup because those merit source wont give any if are posting quality contents.
First off, try to improve your writing skills.

Second, everyone still has a chance of ranking up, i have witnessed members go from newbie to full member within weeks time. It's just that your posts are made to complete the required post count per week.

And lastly, ranks don't matter, unless you're making money out of this forum(which you clearly are).

You're talking nonsense. You can't becone a full member until you get 60 activity, and that takes longer than weeks. It takes 2 months minimum because only 14 activity every 2 weeks...
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: which step i should take before buy bitcoin? on: March 14, 2018, 11:07:58 PM
I would be careful to distinguish between buying bitcoin, and buying exchange funds.

If you buy bitcoin directly from someone, then you're buying bitcoin. If you're buying bitcoin on an exchange, it's only exchange credits until you send it to your own wallet.

You can buy bitcoin cheaper by sending fiat to exchanges
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto-exchange Binance announced the development of its own blockade!! on: March 14, 2018, 11:04:50 PM
Dude what kind of news is this! ? Binance's BNB token has been out since last year!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Alert : Guys stay away from such scam on: March 14, 2018, 10:49:35 PM
Wow, this is a scary scam! It looks exactly like myetherwallet.com!!

You won't know the difference unless you look very closely.

That's very scary
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Ethereum (ETH) on: March 14, 2018, 07:00:17 PM
Eth is a really stable and innovative coin, yes... but the problem is that its future is tied to its founder, Vitalik. And Vitalik threatened to quit last Dec.

The innovative properties of Eth comes in major part from vitalik's work. Without him eth is likely to crumble.

I think ETH will survive if anybody quits.

It will survive but it will quickly be surpassed by other alts and btc.

Remember when vitalik rumors where buzzing about his fake death? Eth price plummeted and only recovered after rumors were dismissed by vitalik.

The average bandwidth used per day is 10MB.

Mining is not about sending large packets of info around. It's about your gpu solving equations and sending the solution to the bkockcjain.
13  Other / Meta / Re: Earning merit points by being a cry baby! on: March 14, 2018, 05:53:11 PM
Please don't complain about merit points. That's really dumb. And don't encourage others to complain too.

The best way to earn merit points is to contribute meaningfully to discussions and to be very patient.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to Bitcoin? Bubble or Not? on: March 14, 2018, 05:45:56 PM
I think we should all just stop panicking.

There are many TA that says that bitcoin is heading for a correction if it falls below 8k.

But tbh, the bitcoin futures contracts closes today. And that is the reason for the price crash. They're trying to suppress the price in order to get a good price during the end of the day. After that, price should rise naturally
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Follow the whale of bitcoins (trading experience) on: March 14, 2018, 05:36:53 PM
Wow this is a really interesting take on trading bitcoin!

I have some questions:

How come they never change addesses so they're untraceable?
How do you track their addresses without having to manually check?

Also, do you have a lot of experience with this method? Is it a new idea you came up with or do you have historical data showing that when these addresses sell/buy the whole market changes?

Thanks for this man!
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are stakes on: March 14, 2018, 05:23:48 PM
Stakes are shares of the overall campagn fund. Every week alt bounties pay in stakes. The formula is:

Total fund / Total stakes earned = tokens per stake

Your token payment = tokens per stake  X. Your total stakes.

18  Economy / Speculation / Re: all markets follow the bitcoin price trend on: March 11, 2018, 09:47:48 AM
Currently you can't buy alts without bc. So that's why their prices are so linked.

Once there more ways to buy alts with fiat, you'll be seeing less of a price dependency
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: PRICE DOWN???DONT PANIC SELL....!!! on: March 11, 2018, 12:56:33 AM
Actually for the short term i would sell and rebuy lower.

Tomorrow is Sunday when prices usually drop. ..
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware my Filipino friends of Facebook bitcoin groups on: March 10, 2018, 09:34:02 PM
I join a lot of Filipino Facebook Group not to scam because my purpose of joining them is to learn some information that can help me about crypto. Don't trust too much because not only filipino can scam it maybe your friends or someone you know. We are educated people so we must avoid people that you think a scammer.

I don't understand why you would join a Facebook group to learn about crypto. The information is all overmthe internet and wiki. Also this forum, although it's harder to find info here.

Th Philippines is a nation where people are starving with $1/hr wages. They are desperate for a way out, and so are the scammers. They'll scam the desperate.
