I had to double check myself, I am sure there is a post somewhere in this thread that mentions the 16th previously but then it was clarified.
15  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to best protect wallets on: December 16, 2013, 10:43:37 AM
I am so glad I asked this question and thank everyone for their advice. Lots of useful thoughts and processes you all use, going to look into each of them and see what will suit me the best.

Thanks again!

I currently keep mine in a blockchain.info wallet as it was recommended to me a while back. I would certainly be interested to hear if there is something more desirable though.

Electrum. I could never recommend storing your bitcoins online, sorry.
Downloaded electrum now, definitely going to use it. Thanks for the advice, I needed it!

If it really is TOR then what is the point? It could be anyone and anywhere. Really sorry but its likely gone forever.

I am in for 10 if my post above is right!

Thats the beauty of all of this. There really is no rush. The 17th might seem like a hard stop but you can easily roll over to the following month which is great or ideal for those who join the scheme late in the cycle Smiley

This is exactly the sort of advice I was expecting and for that I thank you. Once something is compromised then its gone, out of the door, bolted!

Its how you move on from there that is important. I hope you can win!
