1  Economy / Exchanges / How does a United States citizen create a corporate account on these exchanges? on: February 17, 2018, 06:16:33 PM
I'm a United States citizen and would like to be able to use the non-us exchanges like Bitfinex, Bitmex, SimpleFX, etc. All of these exchanges offer great leverage options, but unfortunately aren't available to US residents. However, they each accept US citizens if the user opens a "corporate account". What are the minimum requirements you would need to do in order to create a non-us entity that would be accepted for a corporate account?

A detailed step-by-step guide would be very helpful.

These would be some example (unorganized) questions:

What type of work visa / citizenship do you need to open a business oversees (preferably in the United Kingdom)?
Do you need employees?
Is there a minimum dollar amount you need to deposit on the exchange if accepted?
Do you have to be a certain type of business such as financial?
Do you need certain licenses to open oversees?
Can it just be a business setup for show (looks good on paper)?

There's more questions than this, but this provides a clear idea of what I'm trying to figure out. If someone could provide a clear step-by-step guide on everything it would take, I would really appreciate it. I'm determined to do something like this even if it takes a lot. Thank you.
