I don't frequent CoinEx, but if there is a mod CaptianFuture does he misspell his name like that?

WARNING!

Mine VTC at your own risk. Don't mine if you don't have warranty on your GPU.

Last night one of my GPUs started going CRAZY. Fan went to max speed, and in vertminer the temp was 511C.

I read earlier here was another individual who had the same issue who posted on

A word of warning. I don't know if it's really related, but after mining vertcoin for a few days, 2 of my rigs exhibited a problem. Some of the cards showed 511 C temp and 0 RPM, and then the computer froze. This then happened all the time even after many reboots, after I changed the risers around and changed riser power, it started working again.
2 of my 7950 with this problem, after this, did not hash over 580 KH/s on normal cgminer anymore (previously 620 KH/s steady). One of my 280X now seems to have stability issues and for some reason lower temperature, and auto-fan speed for this card is consistently lower than on all my other cards.

After I got this 511C error. I went straight to my old cgminer with my old config mining the old Doge Coin. After an hour, that exact GPU got the 511 C error. Computer completely frozen. It must of caused some permanent damage.

Makes me a little nervous since I'm all in VTC right now.  I wonder how it could damage the equipment, do you think the temperature is getting too high and the fan isn't ramping correctly?  I've had the 511C problem before while mining regular scrypt coins using cgminer 3.7.2 but it didn't permanently damage my card.  It's been awhile but I think I got it working again by rebooting Windows.  It may have been the time I had to disconnect the power, reseat the video card and the pcie power connectors.
