1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise on: October 24, 2020, 03:47:12 PM
I haven't had a stake in over 6 months either, yet prior to that I was getting 2 or 3 a month, every month.

This is something that catches my eye.  How many zerocoins are you staking?  There's some debugging options we can turn on to look at what's going on under the hood.

It's known that too many zerocoins takes too long to grind through all the staking calculations, so if you have too many for your system, then you might miss out; by the time you find a winning hash, the next block is already found.  For some systems that number of zerocoins is 1000; I know for my raspberry pi, I see performance impacts when I exceed 200 or so denoms.

There are also some orphan cleanup algorithms that have been improved in the v1.1 release; so I strongly recommend you upgrade [definitely upgrade before the fork on the 31st], and you may find better results.

Feel free to PM me for more discussion; or contact me on our discord.

add this
enablezeromint=0
reboot the wallet and send your coin on another address from your wallet
Tell me, what does this team (enablezeromint=0) do?

Disabling zeromint will tell your wallet to not mint zerocoins from the coins you receive (by default it would).  You can read much more information on zerocoins, especially anything written by Pivx, to understand more fully what zerocoins are for.  But basically it looks like a transfer of your coins to the zerocoin address; and you end up with an IOU of sorts.  You can then cash in that IOU by telling the zerocoin system to send out your zGMCN to an address.  It is extremely difficult to connect the zerocoin you minted to the zerocoin you spent; promoting significant privacy.

It will be great to make our D3s profitable again with IDA
lot of miners are waiting for a good x11 algo coin, so, this project could be it

The numbers we have been considering is raising the reward from 18 to 24 per block, and changing the split from 80/20 to 60/40; so the end result would be no change for the masternode owner, but miners would go from 3.24 to 8.64.  Of course that would effect the time until max supply; but what are your thoughts from a miner perspective?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IDAPAY Community Take-over! | MASTERNODE | X11 | on: June 08, 2018, 11:56:37 AM
The project offering 80% reward for the masternode owner, does that a good reward value?
I've never had any experience with masternode before.

For the masternode owner it is good; for the miner, not so good.  We have been discussing making adjustments that minimize the impact of any changes in percentage to the masternode owner, while also providing more incentive for the miners.  As we have seen multiple times in the past month... miners are essential to the stability of the network.

To your question, don't always look at the percent of the reward, but also the amount of the reward compared to the block time and the max supply of the coin.  For example, some coins out there look amazing at the surface, but when you think about it a little, it's really "too good to be true".  For example, a coin that gives 90% to the MN and 10% to the miner may have network issues if the miners all leave.  Combine that with a high payout, like 20% of the master node collateral for a block reward looks promising, but if you do the math it could turn out that is only sustainable for a couple months before the max coin cap is reached.

There is a balance that is necessary to keep both the miners and the masternode owners happy for a long life of the coin.  This often is not nearly as attractive as some of the coins that are out there; but that balance is necessary for a long stable life of the coin.

Well, you have to be patient
There is no big development team, but they are going to do it right
Follow the news on discord & if you can, suggest some improvements that could help
This project now is a community run, so, there will be no hype & bull runs, but if the devs will complete all the tasks frim the roadmap we can have a goon and perspective project
Just keep calm and wait dor it

Thank you big_daddy.

I think it's important to add that the original developers made an announcement of abandonment with a 48 hour window for questions.  The coin was dead; and dropped to 1 satoshi very quickly.  So anyone saying the coin is worth less now... is just FUD.

3 of us, with no prior affiliation, banded together to lead a community takeover.  None of us were planning on taking it over, but we had 48 hours to jump in and keep the coin from completely going dead.

Yes, it's been a few weeks now, and we still don't have full control of things yet.  There is plenty that we would love to do (exchanges, listings, giveaways, etc) but we pretty much have zero budget.  We are now a grassroots movement and 100% volunteers.  Everyone has a say in the direction, everyone has a stake in volunteering.

Yes, we don't have a formulated business plan, road map, team of developers, yada yada yada.  But we have the coin still alive; almost a month after it's death announcement.

So I won't accept anyone bitching about our progress.  If you don't like what you're seeing, I'll personally buy your coins for the 1 satoshi it bottomed out at when we stepped in.  If you don't like what you're seeing, step up and volunteer and join us.  If you just want to complain about the people that are bringing the coin back from the brink, and not have patience as we sort this out... there's a gazillion other coins out there, and we won't bat an eye at your departure, because we have much more important things to do for Idapay then to worry about anyone's armchair judgement.

Highcoin has started it's upward path of staking rewards!  I'm very excited we have reached the point of 750% APR!  Such a great coin and a great community; you really should check out the discord community at: https://discord.gg/f2DVqYh .  It's a great time to get in!

Hello!
Today I set up a masternode " status "watchdog expired". How to solve this problem you know?
Masternode - CwEfdna1geuuCEPzbwxaKpF7HyXAwvrhCB
Thanks

Make sure you set up your sentinel in your crontab.  An auto-restart of idapay may be helpful too.  I see you're in new_start_required so it sounds like you need to start it again on your vps and then start again in your wallet.

when will the new roadmap be published?

We have a lot we need to wrap our hands (and heads) around before we adjust the timeline and roadmap.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Kryptonium - The Ultimate Privacy Blockchain on: May 25, 2018, 04:31:09 PM
This project is interesting from a technical point of view, but I would like to know more about - what utility will it bring to the world? Now there are a lot of technical solutions, new generations of blockchains are emerging, but the main thing is the integration of cryptography with real business and everyday life of people. What will the Kryptonium bring in this regard?

Privacy is a common theme among new generations of blockchains; so that is only a foundation for the Kryptonium Project.  There are numerous features that bring need to everyday life; smart contracts, mobile mining, atomic swaps.  However the existing coins tackle only portions of these verticals.

Kryptonium is positioned on a solid base of privacy and a fundamental goal of regaining the privacy that we have given up in our participation with the Internet.  Kryptonium adds value with the smart contracts and atomic swaps; making it very powerful for many potential use cases.  However that doesn't quite bring it down to your specific question... business and everyday life:

That is where the true mobile mining comes in, and the Vanta debit card.  There are significantly more people with smart phones in the world then those with access to modern banking.  The debit card, in conjunction with the mobile wallet and mobile mining, brings the ability for anyone with a smart phone to earn KRYP tokens, and use KRYP tokens anywhere they could use a debit card.  With the ability to have tokenized smart contracts (similar to ethereum's 3rd party tokens), this expands these capabilities to a much wider audience, with exponential growth of use cases.

The project seemed interesting. Let's hope that it will be successful. But I do not understand whether it will be mining?

Yes, 90% of the coins will be mined; starting after the crowd sale.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRDROP | MASTERNODE | X11 | LOW PREMINE | IDAPAY for innovation! on: May 08, 2018, 11:10:45 PM
It's dead now!
Same reason as other sh!t coins: main Dev left us, nothing we can do!!!
All the projects rely on only one guy - superman!!!, or most of these coin was built by one guy Cheesy
Even if they can survive to 2nd step after selling MN, what's next - nothing.

I make no promises or guarantees.  However as an investor with a vested interest in Idapay, myself and some others have offered to have the reins handed over to us.  This comes with no guarantees or promises; only hope.  If the original team is not agreeable to handing the reins to us, there are other things that can be done... a fork and a continuation.  Of course if we go that route we will likely have to rebrand as we won't have the website or other things identified by "Idapay"; but for now let me just refute "nothing we can do".  We have some options and I'm hoping to bring this coin to the control of the community.

More in a few days.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Kryptonium - The Ultimate Privacy Blockchain on: May 08, 2018, 12:36:24 AM
is this kryptonium the same as monero, verge or zcash, anonymous coins?
when can kryptonium mobile mining be done?

The source code is forked off monero as the development base.  It has a different development path then the other coins like verge and zcash; with a more user friendly approach, as well as ringCT and smart contracts just to name a few things.  Do you mean when can you do mobile mining regarding the timeline of the project; or when during the day?  If the latter, it's designed to be done in the background while your phone is plugged in.

На каких биржах будет торговаться монета и какие цели цены вашей монеты в 2020 году? Я надеюсь что все будет очень хорошо мне нравится ваш проект Удачи Вам

On which exchanges will the coin be traded and what are the price targets for your coin in 2020? I hope that everything will be very good. I like your project. Good luck to you.

Unfortunately exchanges require Non Disclosure Agreements while you are in discussions with them; so we will not be able to announce any of those plans until they are officially released.  Price speculation is also something outside of our control; we can only focus on the tech and partnerships to promote mass adoption; the price will follow Smiley

Please i want to ask about what is the end date of airdrop? Also please what is the steps to recieve tokens after airdrop? Thanks alot for admin efforts

Your tokens will be delivered to the paper wallet you specified with the bot when you registered; after the end of the crowd sale.  The airdrop will run until June 30th, or until the allotted 180,000 KRYP is accounted for... whichever comes first.

Looks like a cool project, but I don't understand the necessity to have the coins delivered to a paper wallet if one wishes to participate in the ICO.  What is the purpose?

As answered here on the 22nd, The main reason is due to early mining during the crowdsale, we don't want that to happen so we are releasing the GUI wallets right when crowdsale ends. Now that being said, we are using paper wallet over web wallets for security purposes. This was the method we thought would be most secure and would allow for no mining while crowdsale is in effect.

Looks like a cool coin to mine, do we know when the mainnet is being released ?

It will be released near the end of the crowd sale, June 30th.

Nice coin and the price is running at a discount with the staking reward structure being at the bottom.  Definitely a good time to get in before the fervor starts on the reward progression towards the super blocks.

Great fun and generous community on their discord; don't miss out on some fun!: https://discord.gg/Aq84cy7
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Kryptonium - The Ultimate Privacy Blockchain on: April 27, 2018, 01:57:10 PM

Is the chain already alive, or it will be only with the wallet release?

The chain is developed but not public; so that participants of the crowd sale don't have to worry about early mining, or the potential for others to be selling coins (e.g. to help prevent people from getting scammed by nefarious folks trying to take advantage of supporters)
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Kryptonium - The Ultimate Privacy Blockchain on: April 27, 2018, 11:40:15 AM
How will mobile mining be implemented will it use the phones processor or is it simulated mining similar to Electroneum?

It is not simulating mining or game based; it's true mobile mining using the device's CPU.  You will have control as to the amount of threads used, and you will see actual hash rates based on the work being done.  It's designed to be used while your phone is charging (overnight, or whenever else you may put your phone down for a decent period of time).
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Kryptonium - The Ultimate Privacy Blockchain on: April 26, 2018, 04:22:49 PM
The pre-mined coins reach 10% of the total supply.
Didn't it get too high fort the pre-mined coins?

I don't understand your question; could you elaborate?
