3  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money Transmitter License for a Crypto Exchange Required by Every US State? on: February 10, 2014, 04:17:51 AM
If you're not exchanging from crypto to US dollar or vise-versa I have not read a state reg that applies. I'm sure that is
one reason why Cryptsy and other do not offer crypto to USD yet.

FinCen on a federal level addresses crypto to crypto but can anyone point out some state regs where this is the case?

Edit: after some research it seems it varies from state to state but there are some state regulations that seem to apply
and it seems like a ticking time bomb and only a matter of time before some of these exchanges are shutdown.

See https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/API_reference_%28JSON-RPC%29#PHP

 $bitcoin = new jsonRPCClient('http://user:password@127.0.0.1:PPPP/');
 print_r($bitcoin->sendtoaddress('toaddress', 10000));

6  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How Do I Find a Qualified Programmer on: February 01, 2014, 11:36:40 PM

Probably just the ATM and wallet app at this point.

That's the most expensive part and the most difficult to get right.
7  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How Do I Find a Qualified Programmer on: February 01, 2014, 09:43:29 PM
Where do I start? Anyone that could pull off what you want correctly is already hard at work on their own ideas that will be much
more lucrative for them than any amount you could pay OR they are working for a big company for a big salary especially the
bank/ATM guys. If you do find someone that says they can do it then it's all on you to make sure it's done right because if not
your site won't last long because it will be hacked and all the bitcoins will be gone. How do you know it's done right? You don't if you
cannot do any of this yourself. Seriously if you just have a great idea with nothing else or don't have a $500,000 budget to start then I'd
suggest not even starting.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guide For Mining In LINUX on: January 17, 2014, 12:44:25 AM
Do you mean does not start at system boot or won't start manually? Are there any error messages?

Am i the only one thinks this is dead as a dodo?

Nope, right on. Coin with problems and no Dev to be seen.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TBC] The Bull Coin of 2014 , CPU Mining , Get ready to be a rich man ! on: January 16, 2014, 11:10:24 PM
Thanks for trying it. I don't have a wallet to copy just the private key at this point.

The original wallet showed the correct balance of ~ 480K before the dumpprivkey. I have an image
backup of the system that the wallet was on (linux) but I'm not going to restore it unless 480K Bull makes it
worth my time to restore sometime soon. I'll just set the backup aside for now in case somehow it was a
wallet problem but I don't see how.

Clearly there is a problem with the coin, regardless if it worked once for you, it's got to be 100%,
there can be no excuses for not being able to get your coins from the private key. I suspect there
is a problem with the blockchain, maybe I was on a separate fork but that means a lot of other
people were also and this is going to be very widespread since there is 480K missing.

If anyone has any other logical guesses I'm all ears. Unless we get a blockchain explorer to see what's going on
that's all it's going to be. At this point I think this coin is dead since the dev has not responded for 3 days.

Add this one to the dead CRAPCOIN list.

Looks like there is a problem with this coin.

I've got a wallet on system A and I cannot dumpprivkey and take the private key to system B and do importprivkey.

The key shows up on system B but the balance remains the same. I've re-downloaded the blockchain and tried rescan.

Seems to be a broken coin unless someone has some ideas?

Is there a block chain explorer somewhere?

Worked fine for me but I just copied the "wallet.dat" file into the roaming profile

Goto system A and goto %appdata%\bullcoin\wallet.dat and copy to USB take to system B and while the bullcoin wallet is not running copy the wallet.dat file over the current one located at %appdata%\bullcoin\wallet.dat

So System A and System B both have same address and balance updates together in sync

I second this. A professional designer would do wonders for this coin.

You really need to hire a professional designer if you want this coin to go anywhere.

I've got 804 blocks out of 2071. That's 61.2% rejects. And I've got 45 valid blocks out of those 804. Rest are orphans. That's 5.5%.
What a shitcoin. Fuck this crap.

You do understand what orphans are right?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Use my PC as a rpc-server (Quarkcoin) ? on: January 11, 2014, 10:08:40 PM
I assume your PC is behind a router? If so your router will have to forward the rpc port to
your PC and you will use your WAN IP to connect to. ipchicken.com will give you your WAN IP
if you don't know it. Make sure your password is stout, this is very insecure. At the very least
use rpc ssl.
15  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Problem integrating daemon with PHP on: January 11, 2014, 09:11:55 PM
Have you set the rpcport, rpcuser and rpcpassword in the .conf file? Also listen=1?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Use my PC as a rpc-server (Quarkcoin) ? on: January 11, 2014, 09:05:38 PM
if the php is running on the same computer as the daemon or wallet it will be 127.0.0.1.

Also need to add to .conf:

rpcport=8910

Then git source does not compile on linux.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of CPU-ONLY AltCoins on: January 11, 2014, 08:33:51 PM
and before anyone speaks about Satoshi, it doesnt compute for him to dump because by killing the coin he cant gain money. When he will dump everything will collapse so he couldnt gain by dumping...

How is that different than Dime or any of the other pre-mines?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of CPU-ONLY AltCoins on: January 11, 2014, 07:12:56 PM
Is Dime in the high risk category because of the number of coins or something else? Virus?
